“Reaper stands out as the best DAW, period”
Pros
The price is pretty good for what you get and the features are solid. It's quite difficult to use but once you get the hang of it, it's great. Plus the community is very helpful.
Cons
The updates come too often for my liking and I'd rather see fewer but more meaningful ones. It feels like some updates don't really change much.

“So simple to use”
Pros
It's really simple to use and the best part is it's lightweight, so it doesn't require a super powerful computer to run. It works perfectly fine on my setup.
Cons
There aren't many built-in libraries and effects, so I often find myself looking for other sources to get what I need.

“Definitely better than Protools”
Pros
I love that it doesn't take up all my computer's resources like Protools does. It's light on the system, so I can run other apps at the same time without a problem.
Cons
I really wish the keyboard shortcuts were easier to set up. It's tricky to program them to my liking.

“The perfect DAW for musicians”
Pros
This DAW does everything any other DAW says it can do, thanks to the awesome plugins and scripts made by the community. At first, it can be confusing but there are tons of tutorials out there, so learning it and getting into music production is pretty easy.
Cons
It's difficult to use but honestly with all the tutorials online, learning becomes easy if you're willing to put in the effort.

“Ideal for beginners”
Pros
I started using this software about 5 or 6 years ago for recording and mixing some tracks and I've gotta say, it's been great. I had no experience with electronic music but It made it so easy to get into. I highly recommend it to anyone new to electronic music.
Cons
Overall, there isn't much to say because the software is really well-made. For me, I learned to use it quickly, so there's nothing major to point out.

“My experience with REAPER”
Pros
It has a really nice interface, it's easy to use and best of all, it's free! That makes it such a great choice for anyone looking to get started.
Cons
When it comes to audio editing, it's not as effective as it could be. It's clear that this isn't its strong point.

“A DAW that beats Avid”
Pros
The price is great and the license lasts a decent amount of time. Plus the free version of "winrar" (no expiration) is awesome and the scripts make it even better.
Cons
It takes a lot of time to set up, the interface is bare and it's hard to set up even simple things.
