“Really good CPQ platform with amazing customer service
Pros
The customer service was incredibly supportive, going above and beyond to understand our goals and help us build the solution. The system is flexible, allowing us to be creative in solving our needs. We especially value the ability to design workflows and automate processes to guide and support the end users ensuring their success.
Cons
The system is relatively easy to learn, but due to its wide range of options and configurability, there is a bit of a learning curve to become proficient as an admin. There are some advanced features we were hoping to have OOTB when we first implemented it. However, Expedite has been a true partner, helping us find alternative solutions and submit feature requests for the features we need.

“Simple and effective
Pros
We only use Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) and teaching the salespeople how to use it was simple. After just one hour of training, all of our reps became self sufficient with the tool.
Cons
There are no real "cons" but I've shared some process improvement suggestions with Expedite that I think could help. Instead of asking "what do you want," I believe showing me something that's already working and then allowing me to customize it would be better. Also I recommend not cutting back on Professional Services, it's worth the extra cost to help get the customer set up properly.

Pros
I love that our sales team can now create their own proposals, add discounts, and modify items with ease through the paths we've established. This functionality lets us focus more on billing while enabling the sales team to provide proposals anytime, without needing finance to handle it.
Cons
It feels a little clunky when it comes to adding items to invoices or attaching documents when sending proposals. It would be great if there were templates for specific sales types instead of having to sift through a list of attachments.

It has truly been a partner to Core Health and Fitness. They've developed many of our customer-facing tools for transaction management and created custom solutions that set us apart from the competition.
Cons
There are promotional features we need, but Expedite Commerce has these planned and is working with us to prioritize the most important ones.

“A good quoting tool with excellent support
Pros
The tool is very user-friendly and simpler to navigate than Salesforce CPQ. It's not overly complicated, and once you understand the data model, making changes is easy. The team and support have been great in answering questions and addressing concerns.
Cons
A lot of the automation is based on workflows, so we'll need some time to move these over to flows next year.

The product was incredibly simple to use and the quick out-of-the-box solutions provided immediate value to our business.
Cons
This is more of a Salesforce issue, but I wish the deployment process was smoother. I'm not a fan of Salesforce's change set deployments and would prefer a more continuous deployment approach.

The best part of Expedite Commerce is their customer service. While the product is easy to set up and use, they've gone above and beyond to help us customize it to meet our unique needs. For instance, they worked with us to create billing cycles for monthly, quarterly and annual periods, ensuring validation and accuracy during billing runs. They've acted as an extension of our IT department, providing the right solutions for our company.
Cons
I don't have any major complaints about the Expedite Commerce solution. Their Service Desk quickly resolved any issues we raised and they have consistently added new features and made requested changes on time to keep our projects moving forward.

Pros
The interface is simple and easy to follow, making training and usage clear. Reports are easy to generate, and billing runs are simple. The system has streamlined our processes, giving us access to key information directly on our phones and laptops, eliminating the need for paper invoices. The design was innovative, pushing us to think outside the box. EC software has opened up new opportunities for internal audits, providing full visibility into all record updates, which auditors love.
Cons
There aren't many issues, just some limitations with Oracle, particularly in handling inactive records solutions. However, the benefits far outweigh the downsides.

Their CPQ offering is more expansive than that of their competitors. The design team is knowledgeable, the support team is responsive, and they continually develop new features.
Cons
The template builder couldn't fully cater to our unique Telecom needs initially, but it has come a long way since the first version. We hope to see even more advanced features in the future.

Pros
It is an outstanding tool that was tailored to meet our specific needs. Our expectations were far exceeded by the dedicated partners at Expedite Commerce. They have deeply invested in understanding our business and building trust across our departments. They've been involved in every aspect of transforming and automating our Quote-to-Cash process.
Cons
The only downside I can think of is that Expedite Commerce is tied to Salesforce, which sometimes enforces best practice constraints. While this is generally the right way to do things, it does pose some challenges internally.

The software is easy to manage, and system administration is pretty easy. Our users find the CPQ features easy to use. We're pleased with the ongoing improvements and added features to their CPQ offerings.
Cons
There's always something new you want in a business system. In the short time we've worked with Expedite Commerce, we've seen a consistent delivery of new and improved features, adding true value to our investment with them as a trusted partner and solution provider.

“A great CPQ platform with a responsive team
Pros
The CPQ system's features are excellent. The Guided Selection, as the name suggests, helps users navigate through a structured selling process. Starting with a product category, you make selections that refine the options and then you can customize the chosen product. These customizations are rule-based to ensure the correct options are always applied. Once done, the selections are saved to the standard Salesforce Opportunity, enabling smooth processing of the sale.
Cons
One small issue was that Expedite uses custom objects within Salesforce that mirror standard objects. After discussing it with their team, I understand why this is necessary, but it was a bit frustrating in the beginning.

“Effective CPQ platform with a strong value proposition
Pros
The system is super flexible and easy to use, and it's been a great fit for our CPQ needs. It's also helped us manage our product inventory and make parts ordering easy after the sale, both for our team and for customers through e commerce. What really stands out, though, is how much Expedite Commerce has been involved in guiding us through the whole implementation. They've never just been a "vendor", they've been a real partner, which is something I haven't experienced with other software or hardware providers.
Cons
It's usually easy to spot missed expectations, but that's not the case with it. The software and the company have met our needs and even exceeded our expectations. The issues we faced were mostly related to our data or unclear functional definitions on our end.
