I personally like the image resizing feature in the Shopify integration, since it lets me store high-quality images while sending optimized versions where needed.

Cons

Product views and lists can feel a bit confusing and I'm hoping future updates make this smoother since the platform keeps evolving.

Pros

What stands out for me is how flexible the system is along with how frequently it improves. I manage multiple e-commerce brands and it handles different types of data without making things complicated. I also like that updates bring meaningful improvements instead of just small changes.

Cons

The system is powerful but you don't really unlock everything on day one. There's a learning curve and it takes time to discover features you didn't even know were there. Not a dealbreaker but onboarding needs proper planning.

Pros

The simplicity and usability are what I value most, especially when working with large product catalogs. Having both PIM and DAM features in one place makes my work easier and creating structured feeds for different channels saves me a lot of manual effort.

Cons

Some limits show up with advanced automation and complex product relationships, especially with large variant setups. A few workflows still need manual workarounds and better reporting or filtering would improve things.

Managing product information feels much more organized for me because of how easy the system is to use, even when dealing with large amounts of data.

Pros

I like that the interface feels similar to a spreadsheet which makes it easy for me to work with product data. Being able to sync information directly with Shopify and other systems has saved me a lot of time and reduced errors. I also appreciate how helpful the support team has been and overall, it was easy for me to learn and integrate into my workflow.

Cons

There aren't enough controls for my liking. I'd prefer having more mandatory field checks during uploads.

Having worked with different PIM and DAM tools, I really appreciate how this platform looks and how easy it is for me to set up and configure based on my needs.

Cons

Some features are still on the roadmap that I've seen in other tools but I do appreciate that the It team actively listens to feedback and keeps adding improvements based on what customers request.

Pros

What stands out to me is how simple it is to move around the system and that makes it much easier for me and my team to work together and manage our data more effectively.

Cons

Image uploads are the biggest point for me since we deal with a large number of files that all need consistent naming. It gave us a workaround for renaming which helps but I still hope for a more automated solution in the future. Overall, I don't really have major complaints about It.

Pros

It has made a big difference in my workflow because of how flexible and fast it is. I find it very easy to manage product data and the cost is also a big advantage for me compared to other options. I like that I can link files instead of uploading them again and again which saves me a lot of time. Each team being able to define their own data completion rules is also very helpful, since it keeps things consistent while letting everyone focus on their own tasks. Most importantly, I now have one reliable place for all product information which has really improved how I work.

Cons

A direct integration with Microsoft Business Central would be really useful for us because it would make syncing data between our PIM and ERP much smoother. Also, while the flexibility is great, it can get a bit complicated, so having someone internally who understands the structure is pretty much necessary to keep everything consistent and manageable.

Pros

Using it for both internal work and for customers has been smooth for me and I also like that I can easily update information and control who gets access to edit things.

Cons

At the moment, I'm quite happy with how everything functions. In the beginning, a bit of guidance is needed and you do have to be careful that no one changes settings they shouldn't while still learning the system.

For me, it works as a professional source of information where everything is clear and easy to find and I can also set it up the way I want without much difficulty.

Cons

Right now, I still need to return to the homepage every time I want to check another SKU which slows things down a bit. I was told this might be improved soon and it's good that feedback is actually taken seriously and worked on.

I find it very easy to update information and I also like the number of configuration and connection options available which gives me more flexibility in how I use it.

When my company moved from Salsify, I was honestly worried about losing important features but I found that this platform not only matched those capabilities but even offered more and at a much lower cost which made it a great switch for me.

Shopify publishing can feel a bit more complicated compared to some other tools like Salsify, especially when setting things up.

From my experience, the support during setup and ongoing account management has been really great and I also like that new features keep getting added over time along with helpful resources available online.

Brand portals could use more design and branding customization options to make them more flexible.

Setting up a Magento channel requires an extra module from Wyomind and while it takes some effort to configure attribute mapping, there are helpful guides and videos available.

“Time to make the switch to Plytix”

Pros

We used to be on Salsify but when our leadership decided it was too expensive, I was worried we'd lose everything we needed in a PIM/DAM. Then we found Plytix and it not only has the same features as Salsify but offers even more for about 25% of the price. I can't recommend it enough and I've already told a few people about it.

Cons

The Shopify publishing can be a little tricky at least a bit more so than when I was using Salsify for publishing to Shopify. It takes a little getting used to.

The service from implementation to account management has been great. It's a solid data management solution with plenty of flexibility. They add new features regularly and there's a ton of useful info available online.

Cons

I'd personally like to see the brand portals become more customizable especially when it comes to branding. It would be nice to have more options there.

It's really helped us organize our product data which means we can get new products to market faster and with way more detailed info. There's a lot of support available too either directly from the Plytix team or through video tutorials online.

Cons

If you're setting up a Magento channel, you'll need to buy a module from Wyomind. It does require some setup like mapping attributes but thankfully there are plenty of helpful videos and online guides from Plytix.

For my needs, it has turned out to be exactly the kind of tool I was looking for to manage and structure data more effectively.

Some features like generating PDF data sheets per product were available before but aren't right now and I'm hoping they come back in future updates.

It has been an amazing tool for us at Roots Radicals. It's changing the way we manage our information and data. We were looking for the best solution and It's definitely proving to be what we needed.

Some features like creating PDF data sheets for products, used to be available but they're not anymore. I'm really hoping they bring that back soon.
