simple updates and flawless syncing

Pros

Right from the start, the platform feels simple for us and doesn't require hours of training to figure out. Updating products, categories and filters is fast and easy and it only takes a few clicks to make changes. Those updates sync to our website without any problems which makes day-to-day management very reliable for us.

Cons

There's honestly nothing to complain about in terms of everyday use, since it handles regular updates without any trouble. The only possible downside is that the lower-priced plans may feel limiting for a larger company because of the restrictions on users and channels.

fantastic setup and product data access

Pros

From day one, getting started was quick for us because the support was there which made the setup process fast and easy. All product information is kept in one place, so it's very convenient for us to search, edit, save and export what we need. The different export formats are also really helpful for sharing information with non-IT users across the company and the quality reports are clear, easy to understand and simple to export.

Cons

A few parts of the product information editing page could still be better. After saving an edited article, it keeps us on the same page instead of taking us back to the product list which would be more practical. Some fields could also be made more user-friendly when editing.

powerful features and flexible data

Pros

Having access to such a broad feature set, along with the flexibility to organize product data in different ways, has been really valuable for us. The integrations with multiple sales channels also work very well.

Cons

Getting everything set up required a lot of effort on our side, although that was pretty much unavoidable because of how much data we needed to handle.

centralized catalog with growing adoption

Pros

Using this PIM has made it much easier to keep our product catalog centralized and updated. It also gave us the ability to create an e-commerce platform where customers can view stock availability, technical data sheets and commercial terms all in one place. That has noticeably improved the customer experience and adoption continues to grow day by day.

Cons

There are not many customization options. Also, the catalog login does not support usernames which is something we need, since it currently allows access with only a password.

Simple to use

Pros

The platform is easy to use and very user friendly. Also making modifications are quick and simple and one thing i like the most is that the site operates very smoothly.

Cons

I do not have many negative things to say but one issue that was a bit frustrating at first was that you could only upload one image at a time. You had to create a .zip file to upload multiple images at once but this was eventually fixed.

What I like most about Sales Layer is its simple interface and the ease with which I can organize and update large volumes of product data. Plus the multi-channel synchronization is super efficient saving a lot of time in daily management.

Pros

Everything feels simple right from the start for us and making changes is simple and quick. The site also runs very reliably and without hiccups which makes the whole experience even better for us.

Cons

I really don't have many negatives to mention. The only issue I had before was that you couldn't upload multiple images at once and had to bundle them into a .zip file but that has already been fixed.
