“love the flexibility!”
Pros
Being able to work from home now and spend every day with my son has been such a huge plus. :) On top of that, the software is really simple to use which makes everything even better.
Cons
Honestly I can't think of anything about the software that I dislike.

“simple setup, polished storefront”
Pros
It was incredibly easy to get my store online. I don't have any website design experience but it still let me build a really strong site for my business without feeling overwhelmed. It's also very user friendly on an ongoing basis so making weekly updates is quick and without any trouble.
Cons
I'd just like to see more website design options so I could customize the overall look of my site a bit more.

“up and selling fast”
Pros
Using this software was incredibly easy even though I'm not very tech savvy. As I used it, I kept uncovering new features and ideas that helped me build my brand, market better and stand out from the competition. I had everything set up and was already making sales in less than a day. I'm really impressed!
Cons
I haven't run into any downsides at all. For a small to medium-sized business like mine that wants to sell from anywhere, it feels like the perfect fit.

“reliable selling with smart features”
Pros
Running my store on this has been really efficient and the smart features have made it much simpler to sell my products. It's dependable, user friendly and helps me manage sales without much trouble.
Cons
Overall it's a very good platform but I think the ads should be removed because they can slow things down when I'm trying to use it quickly. I've also noticed that the support team can take quite a while to respond to urgent customer questions.

“Smart accounting”
Pros
Managing my retail business on it feels a lot less stressful because there's so much support behind it. Between its own tools and the third party software I connect to it, I have plenty of options for building and growing the business. One feature I especially enjoy is the accounting side of the platform which really impresses people. It helps me stay on top of sales, fees and costs and it also gives me a clearer picture of where my finances might be headed over the next few months. Another thing that works well is how updates happen automatically in the background without interrupting me while I'm focused on managing my store. The pricing has also stayed fair in my opinion, not overly expensive but not suspiciously cheap either and it fits my needs well. I also appreciate how widely used the platform has become and the positive effect it has had around the world especially in helping small business owners save money. It's nice having the option to upgrade only when I'm ready, along with getting advance notice about important software announcements and anything else that could seriously matter. As for integrations, that part really depends on the app because while adding one can be simple some of them are much harder to fully remove once they've been connected.
Cons
One ongoing annoyance is the passive aggressive way the platform keeps pushing the Commerce plan. I understand why that might make sense for some small businesses already using the mid-tier approach since developers should support them as much as possible but for businesses that are struggling, seeing that constant pressure every time they log in can be frustrating especially when they're just trying to handle orders. Integrations can also be troublesome in certain cases. Some apps seem to require extra payments or conditions tied to the original setup before they are fully removed and it can feel a bit like paying several months of rent just to get out of it. Because of that, I'd definitely recommend being careful about which apps get integrated in the first place. The background design could also use an update after all this time. It's been three years and the software could really use more style. Security is another area that could be improved especially by adding support that better incorporates VPN users which it currently does not have.

“full control for online selling”
Pros
Starting an online store with it is possible from scratch even if you have zero background in web design. It also lets you build your own web presence using free templates that you can customize with colors, fonts, images and more so everything matches your business better. There's no need to depend on a web agency for either building or managing the store which gives you complete control over your business. It also includes integrations for online payments, connections with courier companies and links with social media shops and product feeds.
Cons
At this point with so many e commerce platforms available online, its free template selection can feel a bit dated. Some competitors seem to offer designs that look more modern, current and visually fresh.

“inventory and order tracking shine!”
Pros
Keeping products organized and tracking orders is where it really performs well. The platform is user friendly and also handles optimization automatically which saves time and makes daily store management much easier.
Cons
The store needs more specific custom changes than the default options allow. In those cases, you need some basic knowledge of Liquid so anyone wanting advanced customization will likely have to learn the Liquid language.

“Reliable support”
Pros
Getting started with it doesn't take long. After you understand the basics of tagging, fixing mistakes is pretty easy and organizing the catalog is simple too. The built-in themes are user friendly and can be customized without much trouble. Customer support is available at all times and switching over from Amazon feels like a very smart move considering how often Amazon keeps changing its policies.
Cons
Pricing is a downside especially with the extra fee charged on each transaction. It uses its own scripting language, Liquid, instead of standard coding which can be limiting. File uploads through WebDAV or FTP aren't supported and importing or exporting product data is restricted to only very basic information unless you add third party software. A lot of features that other shopping carts include by default require outside apps here. The checkout process also can't really be customized since you have to stick to their structure and the SEO controls are weak.

“tons of features”
Pros
There are features everywhere with this solution. It feels like the add-on options for your site are almost endless. From a shopper's perspective, the platform is very simple to figure out and even the lowest-priced plan still gives the store a polished, premium look.
Cons
It definitely needs to some time to get used to. If you want to set things up properly, you need to spend a while getting familiar with all the tools, settings and features. On the plus side it's fully customizable which is great. If you're new to building websites, it's smart to start a few months ahead of your planned launch so you have enough time to learn the system, fine tune everything and be ready by your target date.

“flexible integrations that fit us”
Pros
Connecting it with our sales, data and accounting platforms has worked really well and the mobile access makes it convenient to manage things while on the go. It also does a solid job of covering the needs of our business.
Cons
One frustration is that it can be overly sensitive to special characters, French letters and similar inputs which can disrupt synchronization and end up creating extra manual work.

“innovative solution”
Pros
With this solution everything moves quickly and getting started feels completely natural. I also have real peace of mind when it comes time to take stock, nothing gets lost and it's a tool that lets you move forward as if the work of ten people were brought together in one place. Honestly with this innovative solution I keep making more and more progress.
Cons
I don't really have any complaints to make. Security naturally remains an important point to avoid any data loss but so far I haven't encountered any issues on that front so everything is fine.

“All in one”
Pros
Running a small online business takes more moving parts than people expect and I really appreciate that it brings them together in one place. I can manage everything an e-commerce shop needs from carts and product catalogs to merchant integrations and more, without having to piece together a bunch of separate systems. A lot of businesses end up needing different people just to manage each part on its own so having it all linked and manageable in one platform is a huge plus.
Cons
I have nothing to complain about. It is the platform I turn to whenever a client wants to launch a business without dealing with a physical storefront.

Pros
Managing multiple businesses in different niches, I keep coming back to this platform because it simply delivers. It handles what I need, helps elevate the business overall and makes the buying experience more convenient for customers too.
Cons
Haven't run into any real downsides yet aside from the fact that setup and updates take longer compared with something more basic like a Wix site.
