“plenty of themes”
Pros
Layout works well for viewing orders and processing payments and customers can place orders without much trouble because there are so many payment integrations available. There's also a large selection of apps to use, along with plenty of theme options. It feels very easy overall although maybe a bit too basic in some ways rather than being the ideal kind of simple.
Cons
The pricing is too expensive and the 14-day trial doesn't give enough time to properly build and test a store. On top of that, creating a decent-looking store really seems to require coding skills and the SEO side feels too demanding. A lot of people also don't trust app-based social proof anymore so it can end up feeling like a waste of money for what you actually get.

Pros
The platform feels easy to use, is easy to access whenever needed and the pricing sits at a reasonable mid-range level.
Cons
One downside is that you have to pay extra for a theme and there are times when the service becomes unavailable.

“modern features, too many limits”
Pros
Brings a modern set of eCommerce selling tools and I'm hoping it gives our customers a better shopping experience than the platform we were using before.
Cons
The cost structure is frustrating because there's a monthly subscription on top of transaction fees. It also uses its own scripting language, Liquid, instead of standard coding which adds another layer to deal with. File uploads don't work through WebDAV or FTP and import/export is very limited beyond basic product details unless you add a third party app. A lot of functions that other shopping carts include out of the box depends on extra apps here. Checkout customization is also locked down so you have to follow it's way of doing things and the SEO controls are pretty weak.

“round-the-clock support”
Pros
Whenever questions come up their support is available around the clock. Their expert team responds quickly in real time and is ready to help troubleshoot issues with your e-commerce setup which makes it easier to stay focused on growing your business and running a successful store.
Cons
At times, if you're dealing with a technical problem and can't reach a support representative directly, getting help may take a different route. In those cases, you'll need to contact support through phone or email any time of day since they're available 24/7 and live chat may be an option depending on the situation.

“enjoyed shipping feature”
Pros
One thing I really enjoy about it is the shipping feature. It tells me the date when I can expect to receive my product which is very helpful. There are also so many products available here so it's easy to find items that match what I need. I really love that about it.
Cons
I'd just like to see more product designs being updated every day.

“solid sales tools”
Pros
A store getting live on the platform happens pretty fast which is a big plus when you want to start selling without a long setup process. The catch is that the built in features are fairly limited and a lot of the extra functions you might need (even something as basic as pre orders or adding custom metafields) usually means paying a monthly fee for an app. We have 5 apps installed right now and they almost cost as much as our main subscription. On some other projects I've worked on, the app costs were even three times higher than the subscription itself. It's really important to think through which features you actually need before piling on more apps because the total can climb quickly. That said if an app gives you functions that pays for itself from even one order, then it can absolutely be worth it.
Cons
Out of the box, it's core feature set feels a bit restricted. The plus version offers the promise of far more flexibility but the pricing puts it out of reach for most stores. Even more frustrating is that some of those advanced capabilities could probably be made available to standard users but they aren't which means you end up relying on paid apps for a lot of functions.

“reliable choice for apparel brands”
Pros
For an apparel client, it looks like a dependable platform and one we'd feel comfortable recommending. I'd especially want to hear from current users about the downsides they run into the least since knowing any possible risks ahead of time would be really helpful before moving forward.
Cons
Something to keep in mind is that it is a hosted platform and that's a major reason some people no longer see it as the best option for launching an e-commerce business. On the other hand, being hosted does remove the burden of having to find and manage a separate hosting provider.

“powerful multilingual sales tools”
Pros
Running an online store with it has been very manageable. It can be translated into several languages, the range of e-commerce features is hard to match and it supports multiple languages and currencies really well. The after-sales support team is competent, available 7 days a week and helpful although support is only offered in English.
Cons
A limitation is that the chat support is only available in English. Transaction fees are also quite high and their payments which would avoid those extra charges, still is not available in a number of countries. On top of that there are significant indirect costs and it's not possible to customize the HTML and CSS on every page.

“perfect for dropshipping profits”
Pros
Works really well for a dropshipping business because you don't have to invest money into products upfront. You can make the sale first, then pay the dropshipper and send the buyer's details afterward. The team also helps with getting orders shipped quickly which makes the whole process even better.
Cons
The part I appreciate most about it is the dropshipping model along with the strong profit potential and how simple the platform is to use.

“great templates”
Pros
Having an online store up and running with it feels very easy. You don't need any coding knowledge at all since you can just choose from the excellent templates already available on the platform. Another thing I really appreciated was the 24/7 support team which was very helpful and did an outstanding job.
Cons
Moving your content over can be difficult if your business is not in the ecommerce space. On top of that, the URL structure is not ideal for SEO which is extremely important nowadays for ecommerce businesses and driving traffic.

“love it!”
Pros
Since 2019 I've been working as a professional digital marketer and have made tens of thousands of dollars online through different platforms. Lately I've been putting a lot of effort into shopify dropshipping and ecommerce and it has become a solid source of income for me. It has helped me run this business successfully because I've been able to launch multiple dropshipping and ecommerce stores with it. Other than that the network I've built gives me opportunities to earn money while also sharing my knowledge with people who want help getting their own business started.
Cons
Overall it has been a really positive experience. The backend can feel a bit complex at times but it handles what it's supposed to do very well and the storefront experience it creates is both appealing and effective. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone thinking about starting an online store. It can stay easy for beginners but it also has the flexibility to become more advanced as your business grows and needs a larger ecommerce presence.

Pros
The platform is so simple to work with that I honestly wouldn't want to switch to anything else.

“productive selling across channels”
Pros
One of the biggest advantages is how productively you can sell or buy a wide range of products especially since it lets you connect with social media and other online marketplaces too. On top of that, you get access to discounts, support from an experienced team and several other helpful tools. It's a solid option for anyone starting a business.
Cons
Even though it works well overall, a lot of people have run into issues when trying to cash out or receive newly purchased products. Another downside is that moving your online store to a different platform can be difficult since the system doesn't make that very convenient. In some cases, it can even lead to losing or having your store data deleted.

“has everything”
Pros
Running an online store became much more manageable for me with it. I started using it in 2021 and was genuinely pleased with how complete it felt. It includes all the essential tools needed to operate an online shop and the platform is user friendly, dependable and built to last. It also lets users create product catalogs without trouble.
Cons
It works really well for online stores but it doesn't feel nearly as dependable when it comes to blogging.
