“customizable option”
Pros
Setting up an online store with this platform makes the whole process much more manageable. It lets you create your own shop for selling online and gives you plenty of options to customize the store's design and layout the way you want it to appear. That flexibility helps save a lot of time and effort when building a sales page for your business.
Cons
The platform is very helpful overall but the pricing can be a bit expensive especially the monthly and annual plans for people who are just starting an online business. Another downside is that the domains available through it don't seem to be as strong in quality compared to options from outside providers so it's better to get a domain from a third party service instead.

“clean templates”
Pros
Right away it stood out to us for its polished website templates, useful extras like live visitor counts and the huge range of app integrations. It has also helped us get a much better understanding of our customers and what they're looking for thanks to the detailed reporting. We aren't taking advantage of every feature or app yet but it's reassuring to know the platform can grow and adapt along with our store as our needs continue to change.
Cons
An ongoing frustration is that the admin side can be pretty slow to load which makes even simple tasks feel more tedious than they should. It still works without this capability but we really wish the platform supported multi-product purchase orders or bulk inventory adjustments. At the moment when new orders come in, we have to update stock quantities one item at a time and that takes a lot of extra time.

“Easy app integrations”
Pros
Connecting it with other apps is easy and new users need very little training before they can start using it. That's one of the reasons it works so well for me bascially, the platform is very user friendly and highly usable.
Cons
One challenge is that importing products from other websites during a migration can be difficult.

“pros and cons”
Pros
It feels fairly user friendly and there's a wide range of templates available for building your store. The dashboard is well organized with a solid menu that helps you reach the sections you need when setting up and later promoting your e commerce business. It also comes with plenty of tools to connect your shop plus built in tax options for different regions.
Cons
You don't have to be an expert to use it but doing it well still takes time and realistically, extra money. There are many useful features you'll probably want to add so your store can connect with Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, shipping services and other add ons and a lot of those cost extra. Because of that the total price can end up being much higher than the basic $29 per month plan. Another downside is that the store never feels fully yours since the hosting and even the domain if you purchase it there along with the templates and everything else, all depend on the platform. It's unlikely, of course but if it were ever to disappear, your e-commerce store would go with it.

“better sales and redesign options”
Pros
Switching to this worked out much better for my business. I can redesign my website the way I want and there are plenty of simple, easy templates to pick from. Uploading product photos is also very manageable and the subscription is fairly low at around $29 per month to keep the domain. I moved to this during the pandemic because my Wix site was not getting much traffic or generating sales and it has been a much better platform for selling and promoting my products than Wix.
Cons
Paying for this still bothers me because the platform feels too basic for the amount I have to spend to maintain the domain. I really wish there were an option to keep the domain and just pay $29 a month for everything included. I also had to hire a freelancer to connect all of the SEO keywords to my account so I could make sure customers would actually find my site since the whole goal of my service is to attract new customers and subscribers.

“great eCommerce website builder!”
Pros
It feels like one of the best platforms out there for eCommerce. It gives you a wide range of powerful online selling features and you can create and customize a professional looking store without needing to understand complex programming languages.
Cons
It is clearly a well known and reliable eCommerce platform and I haven't come across any real drawbacks or negative points to mention.

“affordable site building”
Pros
Building my website was easy and I didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars hiring a web developer to get it done.
Cons
If I had to point out one downside, it would be the extra cost involved in getting the full experience like having to upgrade to a premium subscription.

“solid platform”
Pros
Launching an online business with this app feels very manageable because it includes pretty much everything needed to get started. It's not overly complicated and when support is needed, help is available once you reach the right department or person. The cost also feels reasonable especially if this is one of the few monthly business expenses.
Cons
A frustration is that not all features are available in Canada right away. The US usually gets access first and Canada tends to wait a few extra months. The company has also grown a lot over the past year. Another issue is the billing setup, not with the software itself but with the monthly charges being billed in US dollars plus HST which doesn't really make sense. The statements should be in Canadian dollars instead.

“love it!”
Pros
Being able to connect the platforms data with other options like Gorgias and Aircall has been the biggest advantage for us! It really simplifies our workflow since all customer information is available in one click and we can pull details from it into the other tools without any trouble.
Cons
I haven't run into any issues with this software. I've been using it for the past couple of years and it hasn't caused any trouble or inconvenience at all.

“Seems quite professional”
Pros
Running a site on it has been an excellent experience. Even when a website isn't focused on e-commerce, I'd still strongly recommend it. The platform is incredibly user friendly and it makes both designing and managing your site feel simple while still delivering a polished, professional look.
Cons
Don't have any complaints about it. I've been using it for more than a year and I haven't run into any problems at all.

“Good solution”
Pros
Among the platforms for building an online store this one feels the most complete. The interface is well designed and the shopping experience is fast and accessible for customers. A lot depends on the theme you pick but most of the available themes are quick and functional. Another big plus is the app marketplace since it lets me integrate extra tools that help improve my store's performance.
Cons
The biggest issue is the sales commission especially on the basic plan where it takes 2% per sale. Once sales volume grows that cost becomes quite significant. Other than that using many apps increases the monthly amount I have to pay to keep the store running. I also dislike that as a SaaS platform the store code belongs to the platform so if I ever want to move my website elsewhere, I can't fully migrate it. I can only move products, customers and a few limited features.

Pros
Quite easy to run a store with this option. There are tons of features and integrations available and the educational materials are genuinely useful when getting started or learning more.
Cons
Once you start customizing the site, a few roadblocks can come up that need some technical know how though the available resources do help you work through them.

“eveything in one place”
Pros
Working a small online store feels well covered because the platform includes pretty much everything needed in one place. The daily operations are user friendly and the design options are customizable enough to create a strong customer experience.
Cons
Pricing can be a bit high for start ups which is why a lot of businesses hesitate to choose it. It also doesn't offer enough for larger companies.

“Made store building simple”
Pros
Coming from Woo, switching to this solution turned out to be a really good move. The interface is clean and building a site is very easy even with zero coding experience. Editing my online store and creating pages takes much less effort now and overall I've been very happy with it.
Cons
Biggest downside is the cost since this is definitely on the expensive side. If I had started with it from the beginning, I probably would have saved a lot of time but it may not have been the most profitable choice for my business over the long run. It feels better suited to larger stores or owners who value saving time more than keeping costs low.

“trusted by customers”
Pros
Right away the interface feels polished and more appealing than a lot of other platforms. I prefer it over others and I think that polished UI also helps build customer trust and can even boost sales compared with WooCommerce. Setting up a store is very easy too, mostly just clicking through the options and getting things done. Other than that their customer support has been dependable and genuinely helpful whenever needed.
Cons
If you're just getting started in ecommerce this can feel pretty expensive. The extra add ons also add up fast and in many cases you end up paying $50 or more just to get a solid theme and the other features you really need.

“no coding background”
Pros
Has been much more manageable to run websites for both my own business and client projects especially since I don't have any background in coding or web development. The platform is very user friendly and it comes with plenty of customizable themes and fields to work with. Another big plus is the app marketplace which offers a wide range of tools that can really help improve and optimize a website.
Cons
At first some of the fields can be a bit confusing to figure out. Also while the apps are often very helpful, many of them require separate subscriptions so if your business depends on several apps, the monthly cost can end up being much higher than you initially expect.

“Helpful reports”
Pros
It is very accessible to use and there's a huge library of help articles available when needed. It also connects with most apps which makes running everything a lot more convenient. Their 'shopify experts' has been an excellent service and the reporting feature is especially useful.
Cons
Since it is such a done-for-you platform, customization can become tricky especially when changes affect the app plugins being used. That's a big reason why the 'experts' service has been so valuable. The cost can also add up quickly because many apps come with recurring fees and I do think WordPress ends up being cheaper in the long run.

“social media integration shines”
Pros
Right from the start the social media integration has been a huge plus. Even without any webmaster background, I've been able to run our entire website on my own with this platform and haven't had any trouble managing it.
Cons
The pricing feels a bit high. I'd also love to see plan options that don't include a backend purchasing system especially a version built for service-based businesses where clients don't need to buy products online.

Pros
Starting an online eCommerce business with it feels like a really solid choice. The platform lets you create a highly professional website for your customers and visitors and it gives you one place to manage and sell your products.
Cons

“great for online stores”
Pros
Building an online store with it has been the simplest experience I've had. You can put together a beautiful, fully functional eCommerce website with little to no coding knowledge at all.
Cons
Something I'd love to see improved is having some features that are currently locked behind monthly paid apps offered as optional add ons for basic or free themes. Things like a countdown timer, scarcity bar, sticky add to cart button and similar tools would be really useful to have built in.
