“aligned processes
Pros
It has helped us align processes and I find that it saves me time while ensuring training is delivered exactly when needed.
Cons
The security permissions can be confusing at first but I find the customer support team really makes up for it with guidance.

“Deep and great features
Pros
All standard LMS features are present and I find the deep level of customization empowers me to manage content effectively while integrating with content providers and HCM systems.
Cons
There's still some inconsistency across the different admin modules and I notice that some areas have modern interfaces while others feel outdated. I also think about whether it would be better to stick with an LMS that's fully integrated into our HCM for a consistent experience.

“simple admin navigation
Pros
administrative side is simple to navigate and I love that configuring security roles and permissions is easy with excellent support available.
Cons
Overall I feel the system's user interface could use an update. I notice it looks a little dated and could be more aesthetically pleasing.

“convenient Ui and great support
Pros
The user interface and design are impressive and I really appreciate the support from the CSOD team, RUGs, Connect Live events and certification opportunities.
Cons
Wish I could choose at the learning object level whether completion is automatic or requires user action. I also would like better user search filters, more demographic info in Express Class lookups and the ability to limit marketing emails. I think exporting standard reports, waitlists and interest lists with emails and divisions would be helpful too.

“Home page efficiency
Pros
home page features are great and I find that areas like "Due Soon" help me prioritize and keep training content fresh and relevant.
Cons
I don't really have any complaints so far. I've worked with around five LMS systems over the years and for my company and size, it checks all the boxes and then some. I wasn't part of the integration process so I can't comment on that.

“Quick implementation
Pros
The platform has an in-depth structure and I find implementing it and transferring old data quick and well-supported.
Cons
If you're new to the platform I find it takes a little time to learn. Depending on the level of integration your department does, you'll need someone who really understands it.

“engaging learning materials
Pros
I can learn from a wide range of materials and I find the events calendar, recordings and quizzes engaging for my development.
Cons
The reporting component can be tricky with the "and" logic and I feel it's more of a technical tool than something meant for casual end users. I rely on it mostly to track completed courses.

“simplified learning culture
Pros
Its simplicity is refreshing and I find that it has transformed our learning culture making onboarding and continuous learning much more enjoyable and meaningful.
Cons
During consultation I wish I had seen a full demo of the product's capabilities. I think seeing the LMS in action would have helped leadership understand the big picture. I noticed that because we didn't, our administration focused on cost rather than potential value which meant adding items later to improve the experience.

“effective compliance admin
Pros
As an admin, I find it Learning extremely helpful for administering compliance training, tracking completions and meeting audit requirements efficiently.
Cons
There aren't many things I can honestly say I dislike about it Learning. I find it's a great product with lots of resources. I do have to be careful when updating courses and curriculum to avoid issues with reversioning.

“customizable api features
Pros
I enjoy how customizable it is and I find that the APIs allow me to fine-tune the system to fit our specific workplace needs.
Cons
While it's very customizable I notice it sometimes falls short of exactly meeting our needs. I just have to get creative and tweak some policies or procedures to make it fit.

“Outdated and old admin Ui
Pros
The platform offers flexibility and I find that administrators have plenty of options to adapt it to our organizational requirements.
Cons
With so many options comes a lot to manage and I feel some areas of the admin UI are old and very basic.

“simple reporting tools
Pros
I value the user groups and I find the Reporting 2.0 update particularly convenient and helpful for our reporting needs.
Cons
Finding support can feel isolating and I notice that online modules only help so much for newcomers. I think connecting with more experienced users would really help.

“creative problem solving
Pros
It can handle special use cases and I find that with creativity, know-how and support from the community and Office Hours, I can solve nearly any challenge that arises.
Cons
Sometimes it feels like the system can do so much but I notice it doesn't always do exactly what I need. I still find managing annual training requirements a bit tricky.

“good reports generation
Pros
The reporting tools have really improved since I upgraded to Enhanced Reports. There's so much data I can pull for different business lines and I find it makes tracking training for specific roles much easier. Using Organizational Units to group people is a lifesaver especially since I handle training in a highly regulated environment where role-specific courses are essential.
Cons
Some of our training gets reversioned frequently and I notice that many courses sit within multiple curricula. The process of reversioning a course and updating all the affected curricula can get tedious especially when several classes impact the same curricula. I've had to get creative with turning off emails at certain times so learners don't get repeated "assigned training" notices with every reversion.

“perfect tool for my team!!
Pros
We've put together playlists from curated content that I feel fit our team perfectly. On top of that, I really appreciate being able to upload our own videos which adds a lot to the learning experience.
Cons
We don't use the system in a typical way and I feel being able to customize the learning experience more would be really valuable. I notice that some things our users see aren't relevant to their experience because we can't customize it any further.

“automated learning workflows
Pros
This system lets me automate a ton of tasks which makes managing everything so much simpler. Moving different pieces around in the platform gives me the flexibility I need to ensure the right training reaches the right people exactly when they need it.
Cons
I wish the reporting options were more scalable. I would like to send reports to more than 10 users but the current Reporting 2.0 limit doesn't allow that. I would use this feature much more if I could set it up to send to positions, groups, or other categories rather than just named users.

“simple course tracking
Pros
Learning management has been a dream for me. I can track registrations, complete rosters without stress and I find reporting is very easy. Setting up course assignments once using the OU Groups is a huge time-saver because I know it keeps assigning training automatically to anyone new in that group until I stop it.
Cons
There isn't much I dislike about CSOD Learning, I find it very easy to use. One thing I do wish would be improved is the order of options when creating events and sessions, the "Restrict withdraw" option is in an unusual place and can be hard to find if I'm not aware of where it is.

“all-in-one content management
Pros
The platform can handle everything from SCORM packages and video content to curriculums and annual compliance training and I find it meets all of our learning needs. I did notice a bit of a learning curve at first especially if I hadn't used other LMS platforms but I can rely on their training modules to get me up to speed.
Cons
Some features require extra costs like Microsoft Teams integration for virtual events. I've also noticed that when I need help the support center can be slow to investigate and resolve issues.
