“simple in-house content upload
Pros
Uploading our own in-house content is simple and I take advantage of Custom Pages to add what we call non-LO's. I use these to share our policies, forms and resources that aren't meant to improve skills but are still important for our team.
Cons
Versioning options can be confusing at times and I've run into issues in the past. Over time, I've learned the system's patterns and now know what our internal processes need to work smoothly.

“extensive reporting tools
Pros
Reporting is extensive and I sometimes need to export data to create more advanced dashboards. I really like the automated email notifications and I notice how the team is always working to improve the system. I also find the skills functionality helpful for career conversations and the talent marketplace really builds on that foundation.
Cons
Interest List Management and evaluation features are not easy for me to use. I've noticed that the Edge import templates need updates because they don't clearly indicate required field formats and I often have to figure out that ID numbers are needed instead of field names.

“accessible help and support
Pros
The documentation, online help, release notes, community and forums are all easy to navigate. I rely on them often and I also like how the Product Academy supports me in earning recognized CSOD certifications.
Cons
I feel that some of the improvements we suggest aren't always prioritized. I've seen actions I raise to GPS get marked as billable working orders, even when the issue seems to be related to the tool itself.

“scalable learning platform
Pros
I'm impressed with the scalability and flexibility of the platform. I can deliver offerings that meet both compliance and technical needs and I'm excited about the new Learner Home page we're launching this December. I also enjoy how comprehensive the Leadership and Development training options are, covering even some cutting-edge topics.
Cons
Learning the system was difficult at first but that was ten years ago. I've seen the implementation process mature a lot since then and it's much easier now.

“Regular feature updates
Pros
It Learning is powerful and I notice it keeps adding features that are genuinely useful. I've worked with other HRIS systems before and I usually find something missing but that rarely happens here. If I take the time to plan a strategy or solution, it Learning can handle all the details for me and my employees.
Cons
it Learning is huge and I notice there's so much you can do inside the system. If I had to pick something I dislike, it's that the number of options can be overwhelming at first. I do appreciate that once I get used to it, those options allow me to generate nearly any outcome I need.

“customizable quarterly updates
Pros
Quarterly updates are something I really appreciate because they consider user input. I find the system highly customizable and able to offer a unique experience for each type of user. From an admin perspective, I can easily manage content and users and the reporting tools are excellent.
Cons
Their product support is excellent for basic issues but I notice that resolving more advanced problems can take time. I've also seen features like the test generator still need usability improvements though overall I find the system fantastic and more capable than most LMSs I've used.

“Targeted learning delivery
Pros
The platform does more than manage transcripts or push learning, it helps me make sure employees find the training they need. I notice it makes my training team's job easier by putting the right content in front of the right people. I also like having access to all the data I need to analyze results and train administrators effectively.
Cons
I would love to see more built-in congreatation of performance and learning data in the interface. I notice that something like the current Learner Home but with performance tasks included, would make the experience much smoother.

“easy catalog management
Pros
Catalog management is simple and I've found that recent updates make updating or versioning learning objects, like eLearning and video, much easier.
Cons
The certification platform is frustrating because it doesn't offer options that other LO types do, like suggested or featured availability. I find certification management tough and patch release notes need more detail, without explanations, testing updates becomes really difficult.

“continuous platform improvement
Pros
I enjoy that the learning suite keeps improving for both end users and admins. I find the Success Center community really helpful because clients share solutions and troubleshoot together.
Cons
Sometimes the system doesn't behave as expected and glitches happen. I've noticed that even GPS and product managers aren't always sure what's causing the issue.

“supportive client community
Pros
I appreciate how the platform listens to clients' feedback and provides the functionality I need to do my job well. I also feel the network of clients is like a support family, there's always someone available to help if something isn't working.
Cons
I find that getting answers from Global Product Support (GPS) can take a long time. I know the agents are knowledgeable and cases move quickly once picked up but sometimes it can sit for weeks before anyone starts working on it.
