“Flexible learning setup
Pros
There are tons of options to configure the system for almost any learning setup and I enjoy how employees and managers get a clean, modern interface. Putting together curricula or playlists is something I like doing because it organizes content neatly for learners.
Cons
I feel parts of the admin interface and test engine are a bit old-fashioned. I wish the learning assignment tool had more flexibility to automate regular repeating actions, like monthly assignments for new employees.

Pros
I find the best part about learning with CSOD is the variety of resources available and I feel it's easy to keep everything up to date.
Cons
The most disappointing part for me is the lack of automation for mundane and repetitive admin tasks.

Pros
Playlists and other features make learning approachable and I can adjust how much info I share depending on what employees need.
Cons
Customization is possible but I notice it's not as much as I would like. I also find that as an admin, it takes time to master the tool. I wish the reporting function was more visual, perhaps with POWER BI metrics.

Pros
Linking learning with development has been surprisingly simple, even though I work in a review process that isn't standard. I notice the system always finds a way to make it fit our unique approach.
Cons
Being the only admin for our company, I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the sheer number of resources the system provides. I never seem to have enough time to fully learn everything I need to unlock the system's potential.

Pros
There are so many ways to structure learning here and I appreciate being able to set up self-paced courses, instructor-led sessions with Zoom or Teams integration and full learning paths. I can rely on the great traceability which keeps our programs compliant in a highly regulated environment.
Cons
I notice we lack modern social learning options and in many areas, the system looks outdated. I would like an easy-to-set-up module that brings people together and encourages sharing. I also think managing on-the-job training should be more developed, including easy submissions from users.

Pros
Importing content has been easy, I've brought in both SCORM 1.2 and 2004 files, plus AICC materials from Brainshark and I haven't had any issues.
Cons
While the import process is better than most LMSs, I still notice a lot of metadata has to be entered manually. I can manage it with bulk loader templates but it's still time-consuming.

Cons

The support team is available round the clock so I can always reach out for assistance. The platform is easy to use for both administrators and end users, and they welcome enhancement suggestions to continually evolve based on customer needs.
Cons
It would be great if multiple users could work on an appraisal form simultaneously without having to send it back and forth within the system. Also, it would be helpful to have a more efficient way of tracking enhancement requests.

The user interface works really well for learners and I enjoy customizing Welcome and other pages to get the information across. Learner Home makes it easy for me to find content and I can use admin tools to automate tasks and leverage data efficiently.
Cons
I've noticed support can sometimes be less helpful and at times roadmap changes aren't communicated enough. I've found myself hoping for a project that doesn't appear as expected.

Pros
While the platform is packed with features, it's important to have enough resources to cover all aspects of your use case. In addition to dealing with major system outages, be ready to troubleshoot technical issues on your own.
Cons
While it's possible (though over a longer period) to roll out new features and enhance performance management for all users, one issue that slows down the process is the lack of timely responses to technical tickets submitted to Cornerstone's Global Product Support. Although we continue submitting tickets in hopes of receiving useful solutions or fixes, the support team often feels disconnected from the product. We spend significant time working through basic troubleshooting before escalating to our product support contact, who is much more knowledgeable and helpful, often providing workarounds or system insights.

This learning tool is extremely adaptable and I can make it fit our needs perfectly with all the different training types available.
Cons
Building curricula can feel a bit "steppy," but overall, I don't have major complaints. I do notice that some interfaces for creating learning look outdated though I know many are being re-tooled or revamped.

I really enjoy the customization the portal gives me as an admin. There's so much I can create myself and I feel like it lets me build almost anything I need, as long as it's reasonable.
Cons
Some of the learning logic doesn't always make sense and I find it can make accessing the information I want through reporting a bit tricky. I do notice though, that reporting fields and features continue to improve each year so I'm hopeful that suggestions we've submitted will show up in future updates.

Pros
The back-end administration has everything I could ask for and I like how new features keep coming with each release. I also find the user community really helpful because I can get new ideas for learning and I appreciate the mobile integration, it's a nice bonus.
Cons
I notice the system isn't very adaptable or flexible when making changes. I can't always revert steps after configuring something and some workflows are difficult to modify which means I have to adapt our procedures to fit the system. I also find the online authoring tool fairly limited.
