Always great

Pros

ALIS is very easy to use, and I love that our staff also finds the ALIS software very easy to use. I love everything about it.

Cons

When updating, there are slight glitches that are easy for me to fix, like some old contacts from the resident profile going back.

I have worked with AMAZING staff at alis that have been super helpful every step of the way.

Pros

It is very smooth to use and the training available in the Helpdesk is amzing! The videos work great, and I've used them to train new employees.

Cons

Some learning needs to be updated to reflect the recent updates rolled out. Beyond that, I don't have any complaints. The employees don't seem to have any issues either.

Our experience has been exceptional from the user friendly software to the first-class support team.

Pros

The ease of use makes ALIS a standout choice for EHR software. Our employees love the layout and picked it up within the first few minutes of use. During the first week, all our Med Techs individually told me how much easier their daily routine is now. ALIS keeps them on task by reducing clutter and showing only what needs to be seen. The simple layout and color coding prevent confusion compared to other clunky software products. From the sales rep to the on-boarding manager to the support team, we couldn't be happier and more at ease. They are knowledgeable about the software, responsive, and easy to work with. I have the support number on speed dial, and someone answers immediately every time I call (no auto-attendant). Most of my calls are general ALIS questions, but if something isn't working properly, it's fixed right away. Their whole team responds to the entire range of requests. Highly recommended.

Cons

There are hiccups just like any other software, but any issues I have, I can take to their fast-acting support team. I always get a knowledgeable person on the line right away, and my issue is resolved before I have a chance to have a negative thought about the product.

We have had a positive experience so far, customer service has been great

Pros

This is my first experience with an electronic system. It's great not having to enter the same information repeatedly on various forms. Tracking the med passes is also great!

Cons

In the medication pass section for the med techs, I would like the medications to appear in chronological order or have the times to be given easily in view for the med techs.

This software is intuitive and complete! The alis team is super, but we didn't need much help.

Pros

There are many great things about ALIS, but the best is that the folks who wrote this software either really know the assisted living business or listen well to their customers. I am a former business manager and engineer for a large manufacturing company used to good ERP systems. I started my assisted living business five years ago and didn't expect to find such a well-done solution for a small company like mine. Some good features are: Narc counts at shift change work well, all information is real-time, changes are easy to make, the system is intuitive for an experienced caregiver, and there's great visibility to meds and care items that haven't been documented as complete. After a month, my caregivers prefer this system over our old paper system.

Cons

Most of what I like least is already being worked on in the coming updates. We run two shifts, and the system is "set" for three shifts, but our current workaround is not bad. I look forward to being able to make updates while offline that will sync when the connection resumes.

Outstanding product, saved us time and money versus other options

Pros

The interface is attractive and simple to navigate, even for some of our less tech-savvy staff. It includes solid features that allow us to track medication, staff tasking, and ADLs among other things. The staff love it, and our new manager had no trouble with it. Alis was very helpful with the initial setup, and their tech support remains helpful over two years into our experience.

Cons

I can't configure automatic MAR backups. It's a manual process, often neglected because it takes additional time.

ALIS is a very user friendly software and can make works much easier.

Pros

I've been working on ALIS for one year at our assisted living facility with over 117 beds. I uploaded all the information and documents into ALIS. We can always access it from anywhere and retrieve all the information we need. It was so intuitive that we trained our staff in no time, allowing them to use the software for reports. We also gave doctors access to check residents' files and observations. Overall, I recommend it for Assisted Living Facilities.

Cons

I wish this software offered more privacy for each resident.

Great Customer Service, Cameron is always available to assist.

Pros

It is intuitive, with excellent customer service. It's comprehensive for every department, improves communication, and links with the pharmacy.

Cons

I need observation categories to be separated and printable in a better format. The Excel version has too much information, making it time-consuming to format properly.

Alis gives me peace of mind while away from campus

Pros

I can't praise the customer service enough! One of the reps is very knowledgeable and quick to respond. I love that Alis is web-based, letting me review documents off-campus. This feature saves a lot of time for our Health Services Technicians at MD appointments, as they can access information and enter observation notes on the spot. The electronic med pass is phenomenal! I get email alerts for any medication changes or exceptions, allowing for immediate review. Med pass is also very intuitive and easy to navigate. The numerous reports allow for drilling down into specific, detailed information, and they export to Excel effortlessly, making it easy to create spreadsheets and graphs.

Cons

I am excited about the calendar system update and look forward to searching past and future appointments. I also want the weight report to calculate 30-day, 90-day, and 180-day significant weight changes.

ALIS is such a breath of fresh air!

Pros

ALIS and Trisha Cole have been fantastic for our company! The system is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Working with Trisha has been seamless in getting exactly what we want in our EHR system. The pricing and customer support are much better than I've seen in other EHR systems. I'm looking forward to rolling ALIS out to eight more of our communities over the next year.

Excellent user interface

Pros

Their interface is very intuitive. The software is very user-friendly, especially for new hires. One improvement I'd like is the ability to customize reporting.

Cons

Alis at the Cottage

Pros
