“An amazing and easy to use application for long term care communities for resident information.

I appreciate how easy it is to navigate, add, and delete information.
Cons
The CRM portion needs some type of calendar for upcoming tasks like calls, emails, and home visits. I find that tasks can get lost due to the lack of a format to help track these types of tasks.

“A lot of bugs at first
Pros
Once set up, it was great to leave messages about events per resident and tag specific people or departments. All our resident information is kept in one program, accessible from numerous locations throughout the building.
Cons
Switching to this program was a pain for me since many of our users kept getting bumped off the system, and they couldn't log in until an admin came to work the next day. If it happened on the weekend, I could not update notes or access resident info until an admin came in to contact customer service, which would then take at least an hour to get it working.

Pros
ALIS customer service is unbeatable. The software is extremely intuitive, but if I ever have a question, I can always reach someone to help me.
Cons
There are so many options, and sometimes choosing the right one that works for what I need can be trial and error, but I love having the option.

“ALIS in my opinion is truly the best program I've had the pleasure of using.
Pros
Even for someone as techno-challenged as me, it's very intuitive. Everything is easy to find and navigate. My previous company had around 12 different software programs, but ALIS has them all in one. It saves a lot of time finding specific programs for specific topics. I don't have much technological background, and I know I need to use this type of software in my position. ALIS is truly a blessing, and as I learn more, it becomes second nature and easier each day. Everything I need is right there in one place. Kudos to the person who designed this software and thank you so much for thinking of people like me who might be more behind the times. It's refreshing to know that even I can be successful using ALIS. I'm new to the company and ALIS, but I'm confident I'll become an ALIS pro one day. Thank you.
Cons
The least thing I like is that I wish I had more time for training on ALIS and to utilize it more. I'm behind in uploading things, and the company is counting on me to stay caught up and compliant. Although I am compliant with state regulations, I am not yet there with ALIS. I haven't been 100% compliant with even one employee file.

Pros
It is effortless. If you can use a smartphone, you can use this software. From implementation to full use, the team is always available and goes above and beyond.
Cons
It's not in every building in America! I can't think of something I dislike about the software. I've been trying for 10 minutes to think of something.

“I have worked with the Alis team for the past 2 years. They have amazing CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Pros
The software is intuitive, and the reports are wonderful. The team at ALIS is always available and pleasant to work with. They have come to our sites and worked side by side with our teams. They are open to all recommendations we ask for, and most requests for changes are implemented very quickly.
Cons
Our pharmacy platform wasn't compatible, but the customer service agent has worked tirelessly to assist in a smooth transition.

“Our ALIS experience over the years has been exeptional.
Pros
The team at ALIS is responsive to my needs at all levels of the organization. They want to understand what I need and why so they can improve their services, ultimately providing the best for residents and businesses. Their reports can be filtered in many ways to customize exactly what I'm looking for to track and trend. No matter where I am, I can view my community in real time. I love being able to follow my assessments to the service plan and care plan.
Cons
This is a hard question because whenever there have been needs, ALIS has been responsive, understanding the need and fitting it into their profile to find me a solution.

Pros
The ease of use tops my list. However, the customer support and updates that keep improving it also make me happy.
Cons
From my company's perspective, the billing section still needs a little work. It's doing much better than in the past. Keep doing updates, and I'm sure you will get there someday.

Pros
I've worked with the ALIS staff for six years. They are always responsive and supportive, just a phone call away. Customer service is above and beyond. They have customized our specific requests to make it exactly how we want to use it. Updates occur flawlessly.
Cons
There's nothing about the software I dislike. I'm sometimes impatient about changes I want to occur, but that doesn't have anything to do with the software!

“My experience with the ALIS system and their customer service has been very positive.
Pros
I like that the software can be customized to my agency's needs. In a constantly changing environment, ALIS keeps my agency up to date with licensing requirements. It makes it easy to add new resident and staff information as well as compliance documents. This information is available to our staff on computers, tablets, and smartphones, so no matter where we are, we can communicate and access necessary information. ALIS provides security clearances for our staff, giving them access to needed information without the ability to delete important files. If files are accidentally deleted, ALIS keeps them archived, so they can be restored with a button. Their customer service is excellent, providing timely answers to my questions and problems.
Cons
ALIS updates every few months, and every time it updates, I experience small glitches in our programs. These are minor but can be annoying. For instance, in our notes, the time saved reverts back to the default time, not the save time that we have requested. It's annoying rather than a serious problem because the notes are archived, and I can still access them.
