“Terrible!!!! billing fraud with inaccurate census representation
Pros
I find that it's simple to change paperwork and scheduling and the team is quite accessible during the initial sign-up and training yet they become hard to reach when I truly need help.
Cons
My experience with their billing team has been awful. They report a different census than the one I actually have and end up billing me more than they should. Customer support often tells me someone will reach out but I rarely get a return call. From what I've seen, the customer's needs don't seem to matter, their metrics do. I've also had patient records vanish or become inactive automatically in the software. For all these reasons, I wouldn't recommend Aloraplus for home health.

“software easy to learn but some fields rigid and create rework
Pros
We found the software simple to learn and use. Our organization didn't receive any formal training when it was rolled out yet we've managed to explore most of its features ourselves over time and help our colleagues become confident users too.
Cons
I run into parts of the system that won't let me proceed unless specific details are entered and those entries sometimes have to be altered later which ends up adding extra work for clinicians and anyone who has to audit the charts.

“positive experience
Pros
For me the user friendliness stands out, the program is really simple to move around in and I can generally work things out without needing a lot of formal training.
Cons
I've run into issues with how different parts of the app don't talk to each other. For example when I change a primary diagnosis on the OASIS but neglect to update the admission screen it prevents me from sending NOAs. I feel that these fields should automatically populate and sync so they communicate smoothly.

“100% accurate ! no hype just results
Pros
After our old software Cashe stopped pushing updates we moved our clients over to Alora. We've run into a handful of small hiccups.. mostly due to user mistakes but the support from Alora has been phenomenal. Their phone line connects immediately with no hold times or voicemail, a welcome change from the terrible service we had with our previous vendor. The customer support team really knows the Alora system inside and out. When I reached out for help with OASIS uploads to the iQIES portal, they handled it that same day, no "we'll schedule later" delays. They identified exactly what needed fixing and resolved the issue immediately. During a live screen-share session they patiently guided us through every step staying until everything was handled correctly. They clearly go the extra mile to make sure things are done right. We're thrilled to have discovered a real partner in Alora, one that supports fast, accurate accounting and genuinely cares about helping us serve our clients. Highly recommend!
Cons
I have absolutely no complaints! We've had zero problems Alora has surpassed our expectations in every way and exceeded them completely.

“very positive experience using Alora
Pros
I've found Alora Home Health to be very simple and easy to use. In this line of work there are often many components that need to be handled in different ways and the platform consistently offers practical, well-thought-out approaches to address those complexities.
Cons
When I post remittances I can't assign payments to specific line items or individual dates of service, the system forces me to apply them only to the overall invoice or claim. There's a single comment field but it's too limited to capture the necessary details which in turn makes following up on claims more time-consuming and challenging.

“Amazing onboarding experience for each new feature
Pros
We use Alora as the electronic medical records system for our home health agency. It makes tracking things like signatures and staff credentials simple which helps us stay current and compliant with CMS rules. I also appreciate the e-fax feature that lets us send documents requiring physician signatures. Uploading OASIS assessments and handling billing and tracking is simple and Alora handles our EVV requirements reliably. Overall it has been a great fit that addresses all of our agency's needs.
Cons
Overall I like the platform though if you're after something flashy Alora won't be it. In the early days the PT/OT documentation left a lot to be desired but the team has been responsive....I've seen them gather feedback and steadily roll out improvements.

“happy with overall customer service
Pros
From the moment we had our very first training Alora felt incredibly easy to me. We've had an excellent experience right away and I really value being able to call for help or even schedule a dedicated training session when we need it. Overall customer service has left me very satisfied, every person I've interacted with is knowledgeable and can answer my questions. The platform's simplicity was especially helpful during our implementation phase and whenever I teach new employees. It's lovely to show them how quickly they can learn and feel confident using it.
Cons
Sometimes I need to print a calendar or schedule for a client but because our company configured billing codes the way we did, the printed calendar ends up displaying hourly rates, which I don't want visible. I wish there were a simple option to print a calendar without showing those rates. There is a workaround but ultimately it stems from how we set up our billing codes initially so to resolve it properly we would have had to set them up differently during implementation or now face redoing them all.

“Most unprofessional customer service representatives
Pros
Honestly I have no positive comments about Alora software. I tried to cancel and am being charged thousands of dollars.
Cons
During my first training I found it's unusable for private nursing. I cancelled before using it yet they're charging me $5000 including a $1700 sign up fee.

“Alora Home Health Software
Pros
When it comes to customer support I'm convinced it's the best.. hands down. The team always replies quickly and is both efficient and friendly.
Cons
I think the reporting needs improvement, the reports themselves need several enhancements to be truly useful.

“Support is always willing to help
Pros
I've had great experiences with Alora's customer support honestly they're top-notch. Whenever we've raised questions they jump in and help, finding ways to assist and resolve any issues. On top of that I find the interface very easy and pleasant to use.
Cons
There's definitely room to improve and I appreciate that the Alora team is proactive about submitting feature requests. They genuinely listen to what we need to make charting more effective. I'm really happy to have Alora as our electronic medical record for both Home Health and Hospice, it's been fantastic!

“customer service - poor and unprofessional behavior experienced
Pros
At first the Alora team seemed prompt and professional but now my requests to resolve issues are often ignored regularly.
Cons
We're dealing with unprofessional conduct from the Alora team, they ignore our requests to help fix problems that occur daily lately and it seems management really cares little about the stress this now causes our agency.

“elevates patient care to unprecedented levels
Pros
One of the things I love most about Alora is how simple its interface and navigation are which has noticeably improved our ability to manage patient care, documentation and communication across our home healthcare agency. The platform simplifies workflows for my nurses, freeing them to concentrate on patient needs instead of wrestling with complex charting and paperwork. I'm genuinely pleased with choosing to work with Alora. On top of that, the platform's powerful features and configurable settings let us adapt the software to our unique requirements which has boosted both our workflow and overall team productivity.
Cons
The main issue I have with Alora is the pricing model which makes it a stretch for smaller home health agencies or teams working with limited funds. Even though the software delivers genuinely useful capabilities the initial licensing charges combined with recurring subscription fees create real financial pressure for us as a startup company.

“Alora has aided in coming into compliance with EVV
Pros
I think Alora is a strong fit for visit-to-visit nurse charting. There's a smooth transition from OASIS into the Plan of Care which really helps our workflow. That said, we've occasionally run into issues where the times logged in visit notes don't carry over into the scheduler after a nursing visit is completed. Despite that hiccup, overall our nursing team is pleased with Alora.
Cons
We've noticed the occasional glitch for example visit times sometimes fail to transfer from the note into the scheduler.

“Great Software
Pros
The interface is simple and lets me finish paperwork fast. I also value that I can always reach a live CSR for assistance.
Cons
I wish that during recertifications the care plan's orders and goals could be carried over automatically from the prior plan of care.
