Pros
At this point, given the challenges I've faced, identifying specific advantages in the context of my expectations and needs proves difficult. My decision to engage with Axxess Homecare was initially driven by its potential to meet my complex EHR requirements, anchored by the robust framework of the CAST 7-Stage EHR Adoption Model.
Cons
I found that Axxess Homecare struggled to fully align with the CAST model's stages beyond basic functionalities. Key integrations and clinical documentation capabilities crucial for my operation were notably lacking or underdeveloped. The cost did not correlate with the value or functionality it delivered. The platform's performance resembled more of an "EHR-lite" version, lacking the flexibility or comprehensive support I anticipated. My role shifted towards that of a beta tester, tasked with extensive customization to meet my needs. a significant deviation from the turnkey solution I was promised. Discoveries such as the reliance on third-party clearinghouses further eroded my confidence and trust in the system's transparency and capabilities. The contractual obligations imposed by Axxess, coupled with a platform that required ongoing, intensive development work from my side, created a burdensome scenario. The insistence on additional resource investment without clear outcomes prompted me to reconsider the partnership.

“It works but makes things more complicated
Pros
I think this has too many "bells and whistles" that act more as a hindrance than a benefit. To reschedule a shift, I have to fill in about three different screens, which is just redundant. Many upgrades they've made since implementation don't seem to have much benefit.
Cons
There are too many steps I need to complete a simple reassignment.

Pros
What I liked most about this software was how it kept on top of the employees' CEU and license expirations.
Cons
What I liked least about this software was that it tends to have some glitches that can erase my data. I would make sure to have a backup or save my work regularly.

Pros
This software is not intuitive or customizable as was promised with my purchase.
Cons
My nurses cannot complete their notes on the AXXESS APP. They are unable to enter I&O's, wound care, vent settings, etc., from the APP and must use a laptop.

Pros
What I like most about this software is that it helps eliminate a lot of paperwork in my office. This software has all the tools that I use and need every day.
Cons
What I like least is the long extensive training, but it is very helpful. It's just that when I go live, I kind of forget everything that I had just learned.

It is web-based and able to adapt to mobile devices. Good pricing.
Cons
I found a lack of useful tools, multiple steps to complete a task, lack of support, poor training and implementation group, not user-friendly, and it does not interface with Word or Excel.

Not sure at this point. I should have chosen another software.
Cons
The billing is complicated. I can't adjust the employees' emails if incorrect. For the EVV, the employees can clock in anywhere that is not at the patient's home. The notifications don't work. The employees can clock out without completing the plan of care. The plan of care does not meet Medicaid requirements.

“Quality of the product and services going day by day. Product team needs serious attention
Pros
The product is designed for home health (skilled and non-skilled) very well. The charting or client side of the product is well thought out and easy to use. However, the employee side, reporting side is lacking a lot of functionalities. It seems the system was patched over time and constrained to add more features to the existing stack unless the company seriously takes effort to help their customers.
Cons
As a power user of the software, I am surprised at the quality and bugs the team is introducing. It's unbelievable. This company is treating the live system as their testing environment and introducing new bugs every day. I don't know what is happening with this company. I would be cautious about starting new service with this company.

Cons
REPORTS OR LACK OF. I am unable to track the A/R daily. Filing claims is slightly confusing and allows for missing claims.

“Home care version is lacking
Pros
Software is somewhat intuitive. It has potential, but the home care version is disappointing and several of my nurses have had issues with the app.
Cons
The home care version is lacking. There seem to be several bugs. The items my sales rep told me were features are not yet features, such as the ability to fax within the app, the ability to bill directly in the app without needing to do EDI files, and I expected 24/7 support to be available by now. The customer service is lacking. It takes 20 minutes to reach someone, and when I do, they don't know the answer to my question. The customer service management has been helpful, but the reps who answer the phone are typically not, and they don't call back with an answer when they say they will. The quality assurance section has not been ideal because there are times when I want to give contracting agencies the ability to view their individual patients notes but I can't give them access without giving them access to my entire patient database, which presents a HIPAA issue. I cannot submit a ticket for support through the home care version. I hope that some of the above improvements are made and that you give the home care version some much-needed attention.

It offers me the opportunity to have access to all the documents necessary to achieve my work and it gives me the opportunity to contact any staff in the central office area.
Cons
At the beginning of starting to use the product, it was a bit complex. It would help me a lot to have a translation area on the Axxess page.

Axxess is effortless. Clinician-friendly. Sonya is very good, but I need someone who will reliably follow up with me about the timeline of the nursing documentation.
Cons
I am waiting for an update on the nursing note. I still do not have anything I can use and need to know when this is going to be available.

Pros
This software is very easy and smooth to use, even if you do not know computers like me. Still old school with paper and pen, yet able to operate Axxess Home Care.
Cons
No one should have to save every twenty minutes. If I do not save every twenty minutes, I have to type my notes all over. It makes no sense.
