“Well-organized across all departments”
Pros
What impresses me is how organized everything can be in relation to the other departments across our facility.
Cons
I have found that Cerner provides very little help when it comes to troubleshooting, so a large portion of our successes have come from our team's own efforts.

“has frequent downtime”
Pros
I find it really easy to use and its charting instructions are easy and simple to follow.
Cons
In my experience, the frequent downtime and ongoing updates make it really difficult for me to access Cerner when I need it.

“easy to learn in the eR”
Pros
I use it in an eR setting and it is easy to learn. Plus it helped me keep track of patient orders and statuses reliably.
Cons
When the system goes down, the process becomes overly complicated and confusing. My colleagues and I found it hard to learn and adapt to during shifts.

“The most user-friendly option i have used”
Pros
As a nurse, I have been using Cerner for the past four years in my daily work. I have tried several different programs before and up to now Cerner has proven to be the most user-friendly option among them.
Cons
I find one frustrating limitation of Cerner is that some documentation doesn't transfer between different sections of the chart, for example entries like blood transfusion records and vital signs often don't carry over as expected.

“Handles all tasks in one system”
Pros
I really like using Cerner because it lets me handle lots of different tasks within the same system. Being able to pull up a patient's full medical history is something I appreciate.
Cons
My only problem with Cerner is that it can be pretty slow sometimes and pages often take a long time to refresh which disrupts my workflow.

“Comfortable format and easy layout”
Pros
I have gotten very comfortable with the format and layout as it's easy to move around and I find it really simple to pick up and learn.
Cons
Regarding updates, I feel the rollout pace is quite slow and when I try to sift through documents there aren't effective filters to help.

“A huge upgrade for our clinic”
Pros
Having come from an EHR system that felt very primitive, we were thrilled to adopt a new system that aligned smoothly with our clinic's workflows.
Cons
I ran into system glitches and the interface wasn't very user-friendly which made it challenging for several of my colleagues.

“Less paperwork, Less Patient time waiting”
Pros
Since 2016, Im devoted to Cerner. Patient orders are listed on top. With very little need to make effort, all other clinical orders are separately classified. This has helped in less patient waiting time and processing time and medical professionals such as myself have an easier time adjusting to it.
Cons
Just the similar malfunctions any EMR software go through. Cerner has minor issues such as the occasional downtime server problems and updates which sometimes hamper our progress and waiting time. If Cerner fixes these issues soon, our practice will have an even better patient-time flow.

“Instantly pulls histories but poor integration”
Pros
One feature I value most about Cerner is being able to pull up a patient's details right away so I can review their full medical history.
Cons
I find it frustrating that Cerner doesn't always integrate with every other system, because not all platforms synchronize properly. personally, I'd prefer everything consolidated into a single system.

“Quick with helpful pre-built templates”
Pros
Once I got the hang of it I find it easy to use, responds quickly and includes helpful templates that simplify tasks.
Cons
There's a noticeable learning curve that felt pretty steep at first and I sometimes experience slowdowns depending on the server's performance.

“easy access to every chart section”
Pros
For me, it's simple to get into every part of a patient's chart and I can pull up all doctors' notes and scanned documents from a single location.
Cons
I can switch the results view between table and grouped modes but I have to pick that option every time I log in because it doesn't remember my preferences. Also, I cannot permanently collapse plans to display only orders.

“Powerful but a disorganized interface”
Pros
I have found PowerChart to be a powerful, full-featured electronic medical record system built on Cerner. When results or notes are posted they become available immediately and any caregiver with proper access can view them right away.
Cons
Occasionally I find the interface hard to use. The layout of tabs and notes feels a bit disorganized to me and I wish they would reorganize those sections to make day to day use smoother and more user friendly.

“Simple layout with easy finding”
Pros
I find the layout makes it simple to locate the specific chart components I am searching for.
Cons
More customization would help and I'd really like greater flexibility because it's quite limited now and being able to filter columns directly on the screen views would make it much easier for me to manage what I see.

“Cerner is the easiest”
Pros
The simplest software in the market that offers the easiest navigation. I find it to be the most up to date EMR out there that I have managed to use. Apart from being friendly, it is a good software that allows provider/RN information that is as detailed as possible.
Cons
Well, no cons to note but like every other software, this software crashes and then make you want to log in from the beginning which is itself 3-4 steps before you get to log in. Can they stop wasting my time on this? It’d be great if this can be solved soon.

“Cerner or not to Cerner?”
Pros
Using this for almost a year, I have been able to learn the software with all its myriad of options. Relatively instinctive, Cerner is an easy software to use and is helpful in day to day work. And, to add more ease, voice dictation does not need repetition and hears commands easily.
Cons
Patients can be better organized with the types and preferences if the tabs are defined more clearly. Also, the voice dictation can become an occasional hiccup and then one has to do a system restart to make it work. Overall the issues are not so major but on a busy day, it can cause problems.

“Strong security, not user-friendly”

“E.H.R. For Hospitals”
Pros
Sometimes when I’m looking for information that I need for any patient, I just simply access the software and find the required information that I need. Very accommodating to local hospitals and user-friendly. I would recommend this for anyone who wants a great user interface to work with.
Cons
The system logs you out automatically after a few minutes if there is any inactivity. Though I understand this is done for security purposes it can be very frustrating as you have to log in again if you want to continue charting for your patient. I also feel that the system slows done when multiple users are logged in. This is something that the Cerner team should look into.
