“Always fast, organized and easy”
Pros
The interface has always felt really easy for me to use. Plus it loaded fast every time and it let me pull up notes, images and test results quickly, with everything neatly organized and located nearby.
Cons
Because I usually signed in through a third party, I did not consistently have direct access. Over the past three years, I found myself repeatedly calling and emailing the vendor to resolve password and login problems and restore access.

“Absolute Rubbish”
Pros
Combines across all aspects of our medical software needs
Cons
Excessively redundant; repeat steps over and over to accomplish one thing; cumbersome; there is no "standard of operation" for this software, nothing in different areas works in the same manner as anything else; does not follow Windows protocols, making it difficult to navigate and use; constantly crashes; when one bug gets fixed it creates 5 more

“Smooth, user-friendly workflow integration”
Pros
We found the interface very user-friendly and it fit smoothly into our existing workflow. Plus our staff picked up the process quickly and learned the system without much trouble.
Cons
yes we did encounter some resistance to change among staff before go-live which became a noticeable drawback during implementation, even though ultimately the system itself was easy to learn.

“makes note-writing easy and clean design”
Pros
What I like most about Cerner is how easy it made getting to the note-writing tools. Plus the clean, simple user interface is amazing and I like the neat way lab results were presented. I also found Neuro imaging extremely easy to access which mattered a lot to me as someone training in neurology.
Cons
I noticed it did not include a feature like epic's Care everywhere and that kind of cross-institutional access proved a huge advantage when we switched to epic. even so, because Cerner's note-writing tools were so user friendly and well organized for day to- day clinical workflow, I genuinely missed using it after our hospital adopted a different EHR system

“better than previous ones”
Pros
In the inpatient setting, I can easily access patient records during hospitalization through the system, including the patient portal.

Transitioning between "flowsheets" isn't smooth, it needs a lot of upfront learning.

“needs some tweaks”
Pros
I appreciate the simplicity of scheduling appointments.
Cons
My least favorite aspect is the inability to view other parts of the chart without interrupting the current task and navigating to another section of the patient's chart.

“user-friendly ehr”
Pros
The program's ease of use is remarkable and navigating through it is a breeze.
Cons
Lack of ability to override certain actions, especially during emergencies like scheduling C-sections directly to surgery, would greatly improve efficiency.

“Cerner Relies on Old Software and Brand Name”
Pros
I can't find a single positive thing to say about Cerner products or the company. It feels like many reviewers lack firsthand experience with the product. It's frustrating that comments from clerks hold the same weight as those from licensed providers responsible for documentation and orders.
Cons
Everything about it is frustrating: the useless power chart templates, interoperability issues with labs, unclear workflows, and outdated features. It's far behind cheaper alternatives, with ongoing issues like incorrect ICD 10 codes and orders falling off after a year.

“Top EMR for a Reason”
Pros
We recently made a shift to Cerner from a ‘specialty’ dermatology EMR – and it’s turned out to be a good decision. Less headache overall and superb user experience. My advice to clinics: stop wasting time with cheap medical software and just get this (covers everything you want to be streamlined in your workflow).
Cons
It is expensive! But worth it if you can afford it, trust me. Get Software Finder’s helpline reps to offer you a custom deal.

“Best EHR, But Expensive”
Pros
Over a 15 years’ (and counting) stint as a family GP, I’ve pretty much tried all the EHR options on the market; with Cerner being my top choice. It covers all my daily clinical workflow bases and more, thus allowing me to focus more on my patients than struggling to work with the software. Definitely recommended if you want an all-purpose medical software solution for your setting.
Cons
The system can be horridly expensive, especially with more advanced integrations, for practices on a budget. So, be prepared to dole out the currency!
