“The simplest, yet.”
Pros
This product by far has to be the simplest. It is so easy and simple to use. It wouldn’t confuse much. It is a really great product and due to this system, my job has changed tremendously, and it has made my life a lot better now.
Cons
This system requires a lot of clicking, even when you need to do simple tasks. It generally will take 4 to 5 clicks to get somewhere or do something. You would click at one option, then you click another option, then another, then another, then charts, click on save, refresh and then you get it done. A lot, I know.

“EMR”
Pros
It is a great EMR product as it offers all the functionalities that are generally needed by any practice. The system itself is quite intuitive. It wasn’t hard to learn the software, you can easily adapt to it. You can create your own templates with it, which is so amazing. Their own note templates are quite nice, and it is really nice that they provide it. They also have a medical reconciliation feature that is resourceful for new admissions.
Cons
It is good software, but I do wish that it has some other features as well that were more easy to use like patient assessment and the I’s and O’s.

“Helpful carry-over, frequent data loss”
Pros
I appreciated that information carried forward from Master Treatment Plans and intakes.
Cons
That annoyed me when a new encounter was made because they stepped down to IOP, their entire chart was wiped out completely and I had to manually rebuild everything from scratch.

“Well-planned but tiresome.”
Pros
I am able to manage my time with this system, due to its feature of generating scores for particular diagnostics. It is easy to use, and I do like that this system does not restrict you to any number of tabs to be opened, you can open all that are needed at a certain time or during my shift. It doesn’t require you to type a lot, most of the things can be done with just a few clicks and is so easy and saves a lot of time.
Cons
There are days when you just don’t feel like using the system or doing any work or tasks by it and wish it never existed, but probably that’s just me. There are so many things that are repetitive in this system and they need to do something about it, it gets frustrating. And you can’t leave your desk without saving things as all your data gets lost if you leave it for a while, which is very annoying. The need to make a user-friendly save button.

“Easy coding ”
Pros
We were able to code patient charts with this product which helped us save a lot of our time of training on different patient charts. This is a great product for easy coding. I really like it. With this system it is easy to carry or get information of patients from different software. You can switch between patient types easily as well. It is a great product and will help people who want to code it.
Cons
The only flaw that I noticed about this product is that it sometimes experiences downtime, so you’re unable to work and get any of the tasks done.

“Flexible and user-friendly for documentation”
Pros
Cerner PowerChart is really easy to use. Overall I am comfortable using it because there are several different ways to document the same issue which makes it quite user-friendly and efficient.
Cons
I notice there are lots of sections in PowerChart that feel repetitive and force me to enter the same details over and over. Medication reconciliations in particular can be tricky and confusing when I am new to this system.

“provide instant patient search function”
Pros
I find it incredibly simple to locate patients using the search bar by entering DOB or MRN.
Cons
There are way too many tools packed into the top rows that most people never use. I wish the layout came with a basic set by default and then let me add extra features if I want them.

“Clean and minimalist but disorganized”
Pros
The interface looked clean and extremely minimalistic which I appreciated. Also I found it easy to navigate and it did not take me long to get comfortable with it.
Cons
I liked using PowerChart and some of its features but I found the layout somewhat disorganized which made locating particular pieces of information difficult. Our implementation also wasn't integrated well with other hospitals' systems that used PowerChart and that lack of interoperability is ultimately what led us to move to a different platform.

“Amazing software. A lifesaver”
Pros
I absolutely love working with Cerner software at the hospital. It is extremely easy to operate and very efficient, I wish my present workplace used it too. The integration this software introduced was a game changer. It facilitates communication between different departments and the patients which prove to be highly beneficial.
Cons
The system sometimes exhibited lagging which ended up in window crashing and all progress would be lost. That was a little inconvenient. Everything else worked just fine.

“Among the bests”
Pros
Cerner PowerChart works brilliantly for all our emr needs. Albeit, there is room for some improvements but it still provides great value for the money spent. All the data is stored in a comprehensive suite, easily accessible at any point from any encounters. A lot of scope for customization, according to each provider’s preferences and credentials so everyday working is made simple and more efficient.
Cons
The system is quite easy to navigate but there are some features that aren’t entirely intuitive and require some extra workaround. Multiple frequently used functions require too many clicks to get the task done every time. There is an obvious lack of correspondence among FirstNet and PowerChart which is troublesome. It would be decent if graphs opened through FirstNet opened PowerChart as opposed to a different program of FirstNet.

“Familiar, predictable and simple”
Pros
Having relied on Cerner through most of my nursing career, using it feels familiar and comfortable. I particularly appreciate that there are typically only one or two pathways to reach a particular section of the chart instead of a countless number of options that would otherwise leave me feeling lost or overwhelmed.
Cons
I do think Cerner could be improved because I often end up clicking repeatedly just to open a single part of the chart which can be frustrating and inefficient. It would save time if I could access sections of the record in just one or two clicks. On top of that, having to enter the same information in multiple places can be very time-consuming when completing certain tasks or documentation.

“Great for agency-wide client coordination”
Pros
I can use Cerner to view my clients' information and coordinate that data with other providers across our agency.
Cons
We are prevented from using Cerner beyond our agency's network and that limitation is frustrating for me since I work in a community-based program and I am often away from the office and unable to access the system.

“Easy to learn and user-friendly”
Pros
Cerner systems have a lot to offer in the tech healthcare space. The software is specifically designed to provide easy usage to healthcare workers with maximum efficiency. Access to patient data for any provider within the network is super convenient. We use this platform to document patient demographic information, treatment notes, and assessments.
Cons
Working in a community-based program, it is difficult to share data with providers outside our agency. It is a little inconvenient for us since we are not always in the office to have direct access to the system.

“Robust and efficient. Highly recommended”
Pros
Cerner software introduces a great deal of ease into everyday charting and scheduling with minimum effort. The system facilitates quick and easy access to any type and size of information you need to retrieve, placing or canceling orders is hassle-free. the software has a number of built-in tools to help with reporting. Plenty of customization options. I absolutely love Cerner and recommend other hospitals to use it.

“Customizable for complete documentation”
Pros
I appreciate that the software offers a certain level of customization to adapt workflows. It helps make sure clinical staff complete all required documentation which is especially helpful for coding and charging and billing purposes. It consistently ensures every necessary section is filled out whenever something needs to be billed.
Cons
Learning the program hasn't been easy for me. I also find that charting can take a lot of time if my staff are accustomed to handwriting their own notes which slows things down compared with the flexibility of writing free-form entries.

“offer quick phone support”
Pros
I am impressed that PowerChart is easy to use and that you can customize it to different users needs. Plus support is literally just a phone call away whenever I need help. Once I know where items are, I can work efficiently and get tasks done much faster.
Cons
I don't like that random error messages sometimes appear on screen when they shouldn't and at my hospital the program can crash quite often. It also feels like the interface needs a modern refresh because the visual design seems a little dated. Despite these issues, I still think it's a decent app overall.

“Uncomplicated and reliable for daily use”
Pros
For the most part, I find the program pretty easy to get around. The interface is also uncomplicated and easy to follow and more often than not I am able to finish everything I need during a typical workday without stressing about the system logging me out or crashing.
Cons
I dislike that the system offers multiple different methods to complete the same task as it makes teaching new employees unnecessarily complicated and can leave them confused very quickly.
