“Easy precertifications reduce stress
Pros
Handling medication precertifications through this tool has been very easy for me. It reduces my stress significantly because the process is quick, convenient and most of the time I receive a response almost immediately.
Cons
So far I haven't run into any real downsides. Over the past year I've used this application roughly twenty to twenty-five times and every single interaction has been positive and smooth.

I really value having a tool that's fully traceable and acts almost like a patient advocate in the chaotic US pharmaceutical environment. It lets clinicians focus on patient care while one person in the office can manage it without extra overhead or effort.
Cons
That said, I've run into delays getting insurer-specific information back and when the automation logic doesn't handle cases properly I end up doing paperwork and appeals which brings extra manual effort.

Using this app is incredibly easy. When I submit prior authorizations, most of the time I just click a few options and send everything directly to the prescribing doctor. That aligned workflow saves me a lot of time during busy shifts and I'd definitely recommend it to any pharmacy looking to simplify daily tasks.
Cons
Every so often the system won't let me access past prior authorizations I've already submitted. There was one occasion when I was sure I had sent a form to the doctor's office, yet they kept phoning to say they never got it. Restarting my computer fixed the issue that time and I haven't run into the problem since.

From my perspective, the process of obtaining medication approval is very feasible and it doesn't take up too much of our valuable time.
Cons
We don't consistently get the prior authorization alerts through our EHR system, so we end up depending on faxes to reach us. Personally, I'd love for those notifications to appear directly in our EHR exclusively, though I realize the pharmacy might be choosing to send them differently.

I rely on this system to help patients get the medications prescribed by their physician. Their technical support team has been very helpful whenever I need to look up specific RX BIN details and I especially like using the in-app chat, it's fast and convenient.
Cons
occasionally I receive odd denial notices after the pharmacy has already submitted a Prior Authorization. I shouldn't be getting those messages unless the PA was routed to the proper destination, so it's confusing and creates unnecessary follow-up work for me.

As a physician, I'm thankful for this free tool because it helps me manage the growing number of unnecessary medication prior authorizations.
Cons
I live in Massachusetts, where several insurers now require a Standardized State Form for many coverage decisions, unfortunately, this software hasn't been updated to actually provide that current form. Although the correct form appears in the list, clicking it opens a document linked to the pharmacy-benefits manager which is the outdated version from last year. I've reached out to their help desk via chat two times, explained the problem and so far nothing on the website has been fixed or updated.

I've found it to be a quick and simple way to obtain medication authorizations. The app stores most of the insurance paperwork and remembers our details, so I don't have to re-enter facility information every time I use it.
Cons

Watching my team use this program has shown me how feasible it is for handling prior authorizations. Even though I don't personally manage it much, I've noticed how much it simplifies the entire authorization workflow.
Cons
it can be unreliable at times, some requests either fail or take ages to go through. One practical tip for a practice, make sure every member of your staff knows how to operate it so that if someone is absent, those pending requests don't just sit untouched for days.

Using the system, I really appreciated how much easier it made completing prior authorizations for medications electronically, especially when compared to the old fax-based process.
Cons
I didn't like that we continued to receive faxes containing the authorization key, meaning I'm still forced to sift through multiple fax pages to find what I need which defeats much of the convenience.

One thing I really appreciate is how simple and fast it is to start and finish a prior authorization, plus I can get a real-time decision on the auth. It also remembers my information and fills fields automatically.
Cons
Occasionally the system will freeze while it's waiting for a response or decision and I end up having to sign out and sign back in to get it working again.

“Efficient and free PA solution
Pros
Prior authorizations usually gobble up time nobody has and create headaches for me, my patients and the pharmacies we work with. This platform has flipped the old workflow from filling out paper forms, typing written data and sending antiquated faxes into an efficient online form. I get the PA request almost instantly, so a lot of hours are saved throughout the PA workflow. In the end, that helps my patients get the medications they need much sooner. Given how unavoidable and frustrating PAs can be, tools like this are essential so I can offer patients the best care possible. Plus, I really appreciate that it's free and signing up only takes a few minutes in clinical practice.
Cons
The interface feels a bit crowded, with so much information crammed onto the screen at once. I wish it were a touch clearer and easier to move through. Also, getting hold of customer service can be a challenge, though when I reach a rep they tend to be very helpful. Once, a PA was submitted with an incorrect detail and correcting it turned into quite an ordeal, so I'd love to see features that make fixing those kinds of mistakes simpler and less time consuming for users and more reliable.

it doesn't help at all, it just adds another hoop for prior authorizations. In my experience, it doesn't make getting medications approved any easier. It would be useful if it suggested alternate preferred drugs or clearly showed the approval criteria like older tools did. As it stands, I don't see it improving the workflow for prescribers.
