“Organizes and shares PAs easily
Pros
I've found it excellent for organizing prior authorizations and sharing them directly with patients which keeps everything neat and accessible.
Cons
Just a suggestion that I wish there were a formulary database, clear formulary restrictions and a process for non-formulary alternatives, because that would help a lot

“Pre-populated details reduce workload
Pros
In our clinic, this tool makes completing prior authorizations much easier for the office. I also appreciate that it pre-populates patient details which really reduces the workload for staff.
Cons
We have to be very specific about which plan we select for a patient, otherwise the system might send the prior authorization form to the doctor's office under the wrong insurance and that wastes our time and pushes the whole process back.

Pros
how simple it is to get prior authorizations from insurance companies. It's such a relief not having to spend hours on hold. With this tool, approvals come in within minutes, saving me a lot of time and stress.
Cons
I haven't found any problems with this software so far.

“Clear notifications and simple process
Pros
The utility is incredibly feasible to operate. I can see notifications pop up whenever a rejection occurs and the process is very simple to follow.
Cons
Honestly, can't think of anything I dislike about it. It's consistently worked correctly for me while I'm processing so far.

“Manual entry and fax issues...
Pros
One thing I appreciate is that any prior authorizations needing pharmacy attention can be forwarded directly through the tool which keeps communication smooth.
Cons
One issue I still run into is that we have to manually enter patient details like insurance and policy numbers and occasionally the tool changes the fax number, making the whole process take much longer to get processed and returned.

“Access anywhere with saved details
Pros
Being able to open the form from anywhere is very convenient for me. It also stores patient details, so future prior authorizations, whether for a different prescription or the next year, are quick to submit. That makes checking approval status fast and avoids time wasted on hold.
Cons
it frustrates me that when a prior authorization has to be handled through another channel, I don't always receive timely notification that this is the case, so I can be left waiting or unaware of the proper next steps.

“Email updates and organized documents
Pros
I receive email updates on the status and I can quickly locate and organize all PA documents in one place which keeps everything efficient and easy to track.
Cons
Having to go in and manually enter the doctor's and patient's addresses bothers me, I can't figure out why the system doesn't automatically carry that information over each time.

“Integrates with pharmacy system
Pros
One feature I really like is that the software integrates directly with my pharmacy system and can automatically submit prior authorization claims straight to the prescribing doctor's office which basically eliminates paperwork for my staff.
Cons
It would be helpful if the software would automatically remove PA requests after a set period, because right now I have to go in and delete them manually. Also, as another user suggested, I would like to see formulary alternatives listed so I can recommend them to a doctor's office.

“Cannot print submitted requests

What I like most about this tool is that it automatically sends prior authorization requests and it saves me so much time since I don't have to call or fax requests anymore.
Cons
I find the biggest limitation is that I can't print a copy of the request sent to the doctor, or at least I haven't been able to figure out how to do it.

If I could locate the formulary alternatives for any given medical plan and understand the exact requirements for approving non-formulary medications, this tool would be incredibly useful to me. Unfortunately, that's not what this provides. Instead of clear answers, it feels like an added bureaucratic hurdle focused solely on prior authorizations rather than helping patients.
Cons
What I need is a clear list of what's on the formulary and a detailed explanation of the exact restrictions that apply when trying to get a non-formulary medication but this program provides neither. I notice staff give high marks to their workplace which is ironic given they don't seem to be delivering any meaningful service to users.
