“Excellent for supervisee sessions”
Pros
Using this with supervisees has been an excellent option and works really well for those sessions.
Cons
Up to this point, I haven't run into anything about doxy.me that I dislike.

“awesome virtual waiting room”
Pros
After a colleague pointed me to this platform, it quickly became the one I rely on. The virtual waiting room has been especially helpful for my clients and I get notified right away when someone joins it. Screen sharing also works really well when I'm going over a treatment plan or assigning homework. Another big plus is that I can access it from my computer, phone or tablet and my clients can do the same. Out of all the HIPAA-compliant apps I've tried, this has been the best one.
Cons
I really haven't run into any problems with the software itself. On the occasions when something goes wrong, it's usually due to WiFi or another connection issue rather than the product.

“Clear video quality”
Pros
Since launching my online practice, this has been the platform I rely on. I use a separate EHR for billing so I can't speak to that side but the video quality has been excellent, clear, reliable and simple to use. Clients rarely have trouble joining and the link is simple for them to follow.
Cons
Back when I was on the free plan, most of the strongest features were locked behind the paid tiers. That said I really appreciate the option to pay for just one day of advanced features which is something I haven't seen offered by other platforms.

“Helpful for housebound clients”
Pros
It's been really valuable that my clients can still meet with me face to face when medical issues or transportation problems keep them stuck at home.
Cons
I do miss being able to customize my waiting room in the free version. I'd likely pay for a lower-cost plan if that feature were included since I don't really need billing or the other extras because my agency already handles those.

“Well-structured interface”
Pros
One of the best parts is that clients only have to open the link I send, there's nothing for them to download which is incredibly convenient. Another feature I really appreciate is that my personal link always stays the same. The interface is also clean, well designed and very simple to use.
Cons
Honestly I can't think of a single drawback.

“appreciate it!”
Pros
Appreciate this software. It's simple for my clients to get into and providers can use it without any hassle. Everything feels very simple and uncomplicated overall.
Cons
It does feel a little limited when it comes to extra features especially on the free version. There's also no EMR connected with the application which can be a downside.

“Clear sessions and useful waiting room”
Pros
Running therapy or coaching sessions online with this has been really worthwhile. The virtual waiting room is especially helpful because clients can stay there until I'm ready to bring them in. Video quality stays clear and crisp and the audio comes through very well too.
Cons
I've used both the free plan and the paid one and the paid version didn't feel worth the extra cost to me. I also wish there were a way to record sessions so they could be reviewed later with the client.

“Free of cost and Hipaa-friendly”
Pros
Compared with a lot of other platforms, this one stays fairly stable even with different tech setups. It's HIPAA compliant and for private practitioners, having it available at no cost is a really big plus.
Cons
Every now and then, there are still some connectivity problems.

“professional and polished”
Pros
The platform feels polished and professional and the camera and microphone work reliably. The video quality is excellent for telemedicine sessions, with a clear, high-quality image throughout.
Cons
Sometimes I run into a connectivity issue and need to restart the session but it happens very rarely.

“Never run into any problems”
Pros
Great experience so far. It's very simple to work with, I almost never run into problems and knowing it's HIPAA protected makes me feel secure when speaking with clients online. I also appreciate the flexibility it gives me, whether a client can't make it into a session or I'm at home and still need to connect with someone.
Cons
The app itself has been a little less dependable at times although it has worked fine when I use it through Safari. I do wish there were more ways to customize the homepage and a few additional options there but aside from that, I think it's an excellent platform.
