Although I considered switching to a paid platform, Doxy's consistency and ease of use for both me and my clients have kept me loyal. It works seamlessly across all devices and it makes it convenient for everyone involved.

I haven't really found a downside but occasionally there are audio issues for either myself or the other person but it's unclear if it's an internal glitch with Doxy or just typical technology hiccups. So, I use my cell phone to call the client, maintaining visual contact.

Audio connections can be easily interrupted or disabled if the patient is using an outdated browser, receiving incoming calls, or switching between windows. While this doesn't happen frequently, it can delay the start of a meeting. Doxy provides simple troubleshooting steps for both the client and the provider, but it can still be a hindrance to timely sessions.

I rely on this platform extensively for delivering clinical psychotherapy services to my clients and it has consistently proven to be extremely reliable. Its ease of login and use is a significant advantage especially during the challenging times of the COVID when I used it for eight consecutive hours daily without any issues. While my internet provider sometimes posed problems unrelated to the platform, Doxy.me remained steadfast. I received positive feedback from clients and their families about its ease of use and quality which further reinforces my confidence in its reliability.

Cons
Audio connections can be easily interrupted or disabled if the patient is using an outdated browser, receiving incoming calls, or switching between windows. While this doesn't happen frequently, it can delay the start of a meeting. Doxy provides simple troubleshooting steps for both the client and the provider, but it can still be a hindrance to timely sessions.
