“reliable platform”
Pros
It's dependable and lets me use my biolateral music to support the healing process. Also, the app has a solid set of features that make it feel fully equipped.
Cons
Everything about it works for me. The biggest reason I'm confident using it is that it's HIPAA compliant and secure so I'm not sure what else you'd want me to add for this question.

“feature-rich telehealth”
Pros
Doxy.me has been a standout for me its feature set really puts it ahead of a lot of other telehealth options. I can generate a reliable link for patients, preview my camera, mic and audio, track when patients actually log into the session and start the visit right from a single screen. They've also rolled out billing and payment options recently which makes the whole workflow more complete. Between their different plans, the pricing feels strong and support has been quick and genuinely helpful whenever I run into bugs. Switching over from other video platforms was simple too, the learning curve is basically nonexistent.
Cons
Would be useful to have some kind of automated notification or email sent to providers when service is expected to be down or when downtime is happening. I also keep a stable backup option ready so I can quickly redirect patients if Doxy.me is unavailable. Downtime doesn't happen often but when it does, it tends to be sudden.

“top-notch tool”
Pros
I've been using Doxy.Me because it's simple for my patients. Clinicians don't need to jump through hoops to get started and patients also don't run into a learning curve.
Cons
The paid subscription is the only downside though it still ends up being less expensive than most alternatives. When I was in private practice, I used the Clinic version for a few months and it was absolutely worth the added peace of mind.

“fast setup for content”
Pros
This tool is simple to use and within about two weeks I was able to teach myself how it works and start creating content to educate my whole health center. It also helped us get back up and running with patient visits during the pandemic.
Cons
Early on, when the camera or microphone wouldn't work, I wasn't sure what was causing it. I had to figure out basic troubleshooting for things like that though I guess that's typical for most platforms.

“adaptive telehealth with fast support”
Pros
Been using it since around 2018 and it's been really helpful. The free plan covers what I need so it's been a huge asset for my business. Any time I've had questions, customer support has been quick to respond. The interface is also very adaptive so the learning curve was low which mattered a lot when the pandemic hit and I had to shift all my clients to telehealth.
Cons
Since I use it every day, I do notice occasional glitches. Also, when I start a call, there's often feedback that takes around 30 seconds to settle down.

“hipaa-compliant secure end-to-end”
Pros
It's HIPAA compliant with secure end to end protection. Using it feels simple and it includes a ton of useful features. It's honestly hard to pick a single favorite since everything I've touched feels well placed and simple to navigate ease of use stands out most. Also, it's not overly expensive.
Cons
Since updates rolled in some new functionality has been added and the workflow has changed a bit. I can now view groups of people at once, upload files and access a bunch of other options I may not use every day but I'm glad they're available in case I need them.

“User-friendly”
Pros
Doxy.me has been outstandingly dependable, really user friendly and a great value. I use it for my mental health sessions and it works exactly how I need. One feature I especially appreciate is that my company name shows up in the static link I share with clients so everything looks professional from the start. The video call interface stays consistently polished, too.
Cons
Nothing major to complain about. The only minor hiccup I've noticed is that occasionally clients can hear themselves for the first few seconds of a call but it clears up quickly every time.

“Quite affordable”
Pros
I've been using doxy.me for a number of years in my solo private practice. A colleague suggested it and because I don't have the same patient volume as a group practice, it's been a great fit especially since I don't have to pay for it. The platform is really user friendly and it also meets HIPAA requirements.
Cons
Every once in a while we run into minor tech hiccups but it usually comes down to connection issues either on my end or my client's. When that happens, closing the session and restarting typically fixes it.

“reliable and free”
Pros
This is still the best free option I've found that feels both secure and dependable. I use it every day to check in on patients and I've been doing so for several years now. It's noticeably improved they've fixed a ton of the COVID era glitches I used to run into. honestly I haven't noticed any issues this year at all. On the free version, I'm able to view patients daily without problems. If someone struggles with the waiting room flow, it's usually because they're not super comfortable with basic phone internet they may need to be guided step by step to get through it. Once they're in, everything runs smoothly.
Cons
I may need to move to the paid version if I want to update the waiting room message because the free version appears to be stuck with the old messaging (it's been several years outdated). I don't see any way to change that message using the free plan.

“secure telehealth platform”
Pros
It feels secure and reliable and patients seem to manage it without trouble especially since the link is unique to each practitioner so the same connection gets reused consistently. Video and audio transmission are almost always solid too.
Cons
There's nothing I'm unhappy with.

“so convenient”
Pros
The app is simple while still being simple to navigate and the whole setup feels really adaptive. The connection has been dependable every time and patients are actually happy with it compared to the telehealth option inside my EMR.
Cons
I'm using the free version and it honestly feels surprisingly solid and feature rich for something free. At this point, I wouldn't adjust anything at this level.

“free access is great”
Pros
I really liked that it didn't cost anything, there were no downloads needed and the app included a waiting room. It made getting started feel quick and hassle free.
Cons
Using it could be a bit dated at times and there wasn't an option to schedule directly inside the platform.

“well-developed platform”
Pros
Reliability is solid and it's genuinely user friendly. The product also keeps improving over time, adapting to feedback and new changes happening in the field. Also, it feels safe and secure and the pricing matches what you get.
Cons
Ran into a couple issues where my subscription details didn't seem fully accurate but support helped me sort it out quickly and the problem got resolved.

Pros
The service is HIPAA compliant and feels genuinely secure and I can connect with clients worldwide without any hassle.

When some of my clients are in rural areas with spotty connectivity, I've noticed doxy.me can need a decent amount of bandwidth to work reliably.

“Excellent links”
Pros
I've been using Doxy.me since the start of the pandemic and it's honestly been a lifesaver. Being able to send patients a link via text or email is super convenient and they can join without installing any kind of app. The whole process feels smooth, it's HIPAA compliant, it consistently works when I need it and the fact that it's free makes it even more impressive. It almost feels too good to be true and I genuinely appreciate it Doxy.me has been a major asset for my mental health clinic and my private practice.
Cons
I'm currently on the free plan so I can't bring in more than one patient at a time or share my screen. I'm pretty sure the paid version includes those options though so it's something I could upgrade for if it ends up being worth it for my workflow.

“Impressed with it”
Pros
In my five years of use.. this tool has turned into the most professional and reliable platform I've tried that's HIPAA compliant. My patients generally feel comfortable and secure using it and the experience is polished. The virtual waiting room also looks really nice.
Cons

“Easy to use”
Pros
Really love this free HIPAA compliant video tool for my psychotherapy clients. The free plan lets me book unlimited 60 minute sessions which is perfect for my workflow. It's been a great fit overall.
Cons
The only snag is pretty minor, there's sometimes a bit of reverberation for the first few seconds after joining though it usually fades out before I even get a chance to say hello.

“saves the day”
Pros
As long as the patient has a reliable internet connection, this platform stays HIPAA compliant and keeps things confidential. I've been a lot happier doing sensitive interviews through Doxy.me compared to Zoom or other meeting tools.
Cons
Getting customer service by phone can be a little tricky though it's not a dealbreaker if the FAQs cover what you need.

“senior-friendly telehealth”
Pros
It's simple for both me and my patients. Everything feels efficient to use and it's been especially helpful with older clients who struggle with navigating tech. Telehealth has honestly become much more manageable since switching almost like it runs itself.
Cons
I'm on the free plan so there are some limitations in terms of features. That said, it still covers the core functions I need so the downside hasn't been a dealbreaker.
