“Eagle soft-very user friendly and easy to navigate!

Pros

After spending many years in the dental field, I can confidently say that Eaglesoft is my FAVORITE program. I find it incredibly easy to schedule appointments, review treatment plans, invoice payments, and document notes using this software.

Cons

I've noticed Eaglesoft generates many software errors. I'm not sure if it's the software or the internet service, though.

“WORST DENTAL SOFTWARE- I REGRETED BIG TIME

Pros

The ability to view six months in advance simplifies the task of scheduling patients significantly for me.

Cons

Overall, it's ridiculous. It takes 10 steps to reach a window or function. Too many blocks, making it hard to navigate.

Be aware that Eaglesoft doesn't support Windows Server 2019 as of 9/2020! I advised a client to buy a Windows Server 2019 system, never thinking that Patterson still wouldn't support an OS that's been out for nearly two years! The client is unhappy and stuck waiting for Patterson. This lack of support raises concerns about Patterson's stability and viability going forward. Very unusual.

Pros

This was by far the easiest dental software for me to learn in the healthcare field. The interface is simple and straightforward, which helps when you are new to the software and haven't memorized where everything is. The patient charting portion is the best and most helpful feature for me. I've used other software where this has been an issue, so it was refreshing to have this part flow so effortlessly.

Cons

I found no areas within this software to be subpar or unhelpful. It would be wrong to say I found anything that made me like it less because there was nothing I did not like.

Pros

It's extremely user-friendly. Most functions are graphical, so if I have trouble doing something, I can figure it out just by looking. The products are well-integrated, including their imaging software.

New staff struggle initially because it's not the most popular software, but once they learn, they're hooked!

Pros

I like that when I want to schedule one family, all I have to do is right-click, and it lets me add all the family members to the schedule.

Cons

Initially, the software is hard to understand. Some things are placed in odd spots. I wish there were a way to see family accounts without exiting and looking up the patient from the same family again.

What I really like about this program is that it provides all the same options and features that Dentrix offers, making it just as versatile and comprehensive.

Compared to other programs, it doesn't offer the same level of simplicity and intuitive design.

It is very easy for me to use. If you have used any dental practice management software, you will pretty much know how to use this. I went from Dentrix to this and picked it up quickly.

Cons

Not much of a con, but the UI is different from Dentrix, so it took me a few days to get used to finding the correct modules.
