When I first joined, I was really impressed with their auto-text reminders for appointments. plus I love the option to hire a part-time employee, it's been a real help.

Cons

Choosing Elation has cost me a lot of time and money. When I first signed up, the system seemed to meet all my needs. But once I was fully onboard, they removed important features that were key to my decision. Their solution? Hire more staff to deal with the added workload, which just added to the cost. When I found a software that could fill the gap, Elation said I could integrate it but only if I paid for development time and an extra $500 per month per provider. That's an ongoing cost just to fix a problem It created. On top of that, It changed the definition of "part-time" providers without warning. Now, I have to pay full-time rates for a provider who sees patients only a few hours a week. It feels totally unreasonable. Customer service has been nonexistent and overall, this has been a huge mistake for my business.

It's a solid, basic medical charting software with note storage and prescription features. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

The layout is really frustrating to use. It's hard to find key information quickly and you can't even flag important patient data to make it visible when you open their chart.

The platform itself is pretty user-friendly and easy to use. Of course, there are some bugs and areas for improvement but overall, it's a good quality product.

The customer service is absolutely terrible, this is the main reason I'm giving it one star. How is customer service this bad after all these years?

Pros

I like that I do not have to worry about chart layout during a charting process as the chart layout is already set and I just have to fill in the boxes. Plus the design is quite intuitive and descriptors they use are suitable. Also everything is available on the one page so you do not feel a need to look at the previous charts even for the labs. Referrals can be written and sent directly from the chart. Most user boxes are draggable and rearrangeable. All this is something that makes our job simple and saves us a lot of time too.

Cons

To move down a line while typing in a box, I have to press "shift + enter" instead of moving to the next box which I do not like. Another issue is that there is "x" in the bottom right box, which erases everything if you click on it, and there is no way to get it back even with the "ctrl Z" option. Because of this I avoid writing lengthy content. I have complained about it multiple times, but nothing has happened to this date. Also fullscript integration is not available.

There is not anything that we like much other than a prescribing medication within the EMR.

Their customer service is simply the worst I have experienced so far. Like they removed themselves from Google due to poor ratings.

With Elation I can prescribe through SureScripts which makes it a little bit likeable.

The setup process is fairly simple and it is also pretty easy to use. After 2 years of use, I am happy with the product.

Elation works so slow at times, and the templates are not as well-designed as I would prefer. Moreover patient forms are not the best.

Elation is designed keeping in mind the staff needs! Also the setup, customization and deployment process is simple. Users can quickly learn or understand the system as it is simple and highly user friendly.

As a newer EHR, there's always room for additional features. However, the Elation team is responsive to all our requests and implements them quickly.

Elation software offers flexibility, good customer service, affordability and multiple customizable features which makes it easy to use. Plus I want to take a moment to thank you support team for helping me set up my Elation EHR and integrate it with Spruce, electronic fax, and labs. It's been a tough process to open a clinic in just 3 months. I'm especially grateful to those who made the transition smooth and stress-free. Whenever something was not right, they took the lead to fix it quickly and kept in regular contact. They even made herself available by phone after hours and on weekends, showing a level of commitment and dedication that reminded me of how I approach my work as a physician. However, I don't expect that from others, since it is rare to see this kind of dedication.

Easy to use, detailed and reliable. Moreover it is very rare that I have come across any sort of service interruptions.

Sending records is not as simple as I expected. Also faxing records larger than 20 pages is not possible.

Among 15 software options, Elation stands out to us as one of the fastest and most enjoyable to use. I can complete all my notes during the encounter.

Improvements in tech support is needed. Even though Elation runs smoothly most of the time and you do not require tech assistance often unlike many other software.
