To be honest our experience with Elation is quite positive till this date. Whenever we face any sort of issues customer support is always available for our assistance. They respond quickly and make sure they resolve the issue without causing any sort of delay. But lets be honest, we haven't feel a need to contact them because everything is working well for us.

My favourite features of Elation Health are e-prescribing and the activity dashboard.

There is no reasonable package available for mid-level prescribing practitioners, and they must pay for billing software in addition to the base charge.

Elation software is very user friendly and does not require a lot of training in order to learn it. And yes we are quite pleased with our decision of choosing Elation.

There is no method to communicate with them other than via email about concerns, which is incredibly inconvenient, and they have only responded to me once out of ten times within their given period to resolve a problem.

The medication interactions in e-prescribing are overly restrictive, even on the setting for major interactions only. Importing records from our old program into Elation was unsatisfactory, necessitating manual import for each patient.

Elation integrates well with Hint Health, Spruce, MDScripts and Quest Labs. The system is intuitive, with e-prescribing being the standout and most used feature. Charting is logical, resembling paper charts. The patient summary panel is beneficial, and the patient engagement software for relaying lab results is intuitive.

The patient engagement feature (Passport) is decent but needs to catch up with the rest of the software.

Creating office visit notes was pretty easy and that's the only pro I can think of.

The marketing department excels at promising everything, but in reality, only about half is true. Getting responses to questions or issues can take 1 to 2 weeks, even with the "emergency" option selected.

As a surgeon, part of my schedule involves hospital procedures. Unfortunately, there is no way to create surgery slots without triggering appointment reminders to patients. This forces me to input it as a "meeting," which does not link to the patient account. I've requested a fix for 2.5 years, but it seems to be low on the list for upgrades.

As a family physician, I face the challenge of reviewing numerous consultation notes, labs, radiology reports, and vaccines. The chart's structure makes it difficult to navigate - scrolling from top to bottom of visit notes is time-consuming and strains my eyes. This program lacks user-friendliness for the new generation and monitoring provider-patient messages is cumbersome. Communication lacks an outbox for sent messages to patients and an inbox for received messages, feeling outdated. Integration issues persist, with common vital sign machines and scales not being integrated without a steep $5,000 charge per device. For efficiency, seamless machine-software integration is crucial for effective work. After four years of use, the software is comfortable, but without updates, it falls short. Support is lacking, requiring urgent messages for prompt responses.

Exercise caution when signing up for this product. Despite a list of requirements for an EHR software, the Implementation Team misled me. The system's templates are non-customizable, with claims of template creation being deceptive, hindering unique note generation like Operative Notes. Basic functions such as Quick Texts or Private Messaging to office staff are absent.

Pros

Elation is fantastic. I even told my non-tech-savvy father that it's so easy he could learn it. The system is so intuitive that I could potentially run my clinic without additional support staff. Its ease of use continues to impress me.

Cons
