Pros
Very organized and easy-to-use software that covers all my billing needs. Great job with registration, claims creation, and statement abilities.
Cons
Not much I dislike, but I would like to see the ability to combine statements for the same guarantor (pediatric billing). I did also like to click on a payment posted in the claim and see the EOB again, like in the posting screen.

The ease of use. I could teach a non-computer-literate person to use the system quickly and easily. The tutorials are awesome.

“Complete Medical Billing System
Pros
Quick and easy to set up and start using. Great support, you can always talk to a person who is kind and helpful. There are many integrated apps and services. We use the clearinghouse TriZetto Provider Solutions, which makes electronic billing simple.
Cons
In a previous version of EZClaim, you could check for updates and download them. Now you must call Support and ask for an update link to be emailed to you.

“EZ Claim is great
Pros
I run a billing company, and I have nothing bad to say about EZ Claim. Whenever a client asks me about software/EHR systems, I always tell them to look at EZ Claim first. The billing part of my work is very easy to do within this program. The reports are comprehensive and easy to understand. The two times I have needed tech support in over two years of being an EZ Claim customer, there was a live person on the phone within a minute, and my problem was resolved quickly.
Cons
There has not been anything I do not like about EZClaim.

Pros
Reports drop to Excel or Google Sheets, and it is fairly easy to navigate.
Cons
Not all payments are automatically entered into the system. We have to manually update many received payments. I did like an easier drop of reports with the push of a button instead of cut and paste from Libre.

Pros
The ability to easily switch between provider databases with a click of a button was a major feature I was looking for. Being able to switch databases so quickly makes a big difference when on a call with a provider or patient in another database.
Cons
I would like to see a more updated UI. The interface looks like its from a Windows 98 system. A more modern look would be wonderful.

Simple to use and great for extracting information.
Cons
I have to pay a monthly subscription. I've been with EZ for over a decade. We have a local version, but to get upgrades, we have to subscribe to a yearly support fee that's very expensive for a company that has only needed support a few times. I would suggest a per-ticket price for support rather than $1000/year just in case you need it.

Customization is a key selling point. I don't like when something I purchase restricts me, and EZClaim lets me take charge. That's my main reason for choosing them.
Cons
Honestly, anything that's ever been an issue, EZClaim has resolved in one way or another, so: nothing.

Pros
The features are stable, reliable, and sound. What more can you ask for? The software is continually improving. I have been a loyal and satisfied customer for many years.
Cons
There's nothing not to love. It integrates readily with my work. My only wish is that Intuit/QuickBooks would be more willing to interface with EZClaim's database so we could use one portal for inputting claims data and creating payroll data. I won't hold my breath, but that would be awesome!

Pros
This product was much easier to use compared to other billing software we have tried. The templates, in particular, make the billing process quick and simple.
Cons
It would be useful to create folders to group patients by location. It would also be helpful to have short instructional videos on specific tasks or topics instead of signing up for a whole webinar. Additionally, requiring a 9-digit zip code to file is frustrating, as most people do not know the last four digits, so we spend a lot of time looking those up.

I like that there are multiple pathways for getting things done and that the reporting system is robust.

I wish the codes returned in RMTs were more plain-language so we did know how to handle rejections.

Easy to navigate, great customer support, and smooth transition from the old database to the new system.
Cons
Just ironing out some of the small details. I wish there was more one-on-one training time or that I had been informed about the small items upfront. It would have made claim filing and statements smoother.
