“A lot more complex than I anticipated
Pros
One thing I love is that I can handle sending claims on my own without having to rely on a pricey third-party billing service.
Cons
Trying to integrate the EZClaim billing software with the EZClaim Scheduler, EZClaim Reminder Call and the EZClaim BillFlash Billing program is quite difficult then I expected. Also I really don't like how I have to log into each program separately just to get the information I need. It is frustrating and feels like it should all work seamlessly for me as the user. Having to juggle different websites, usernames and passwords is such a hassle.

Pros
I really like the reports. Also there are so many different ones to choose from and it makes going through the analytics so much easier for me.
Cons
Well I wish there was a way to quickly search at the top of the screen to find a patients balance. As this would help my front office staff tell patients their balance without knowing much about billing in EZClaim.

“Fairly easy to use
Pros
Honeslty I find this software really easy to use. I have been using it for seven years now, so I've worked with both the older version and the current Premier version. To me the sorting and filtering features are quite helpful when it comes to organizing claims.
Cons
Availability of different options to delete multiple authorizations instead of one at a time would be great. Other than this I have no complaints.

“I simply love it!
Pros
EZClaim homepage is quite easy to navigate which I love. Also the tabs make it really easy for me to move around the program without any hassle.
Cons
Faced no issues with integration. So for now I cannot think of anything that needs changing for what we use the program for.

It is packed with great features, and the integration with our clearinghouse is nearly seamless. Also their customer support is quick and responsive. Overall, its a very well-designed product.
Cons

Pros
I have come to know that I can use EZClaim to handle billing for all kinds of practices which is great. Also it works well for chiropractic and physical therapy billing, and I've also used it for doctor visits, labs and radiology. In short it is quite versatile.
Cons
I think there should be more report options and a way to store expired primary insurance when it becomes inactive.

“A must-have for medical billing
Pros
EZClaim software is very easy to use, the report options are excellent and also it is quite reliable. Plus, the customer service is absolutely the best as whenever I contact them, they are always available.
Cons
I've run into a few minor issues with claims for certain insurance carriers and their specific quirks. There are also some limits when it comes to reconciling claims for secondary insurance coverage, which is a bit annoying.

Our business has used Ezclaim Advanced for many years, and it worked well for us. We upgraded to Ezclaim Premier when Advanced was no longer supported. The new program can do electronic billing directly and auto-post ERAs into the software, saving time on manual data entry. It is also nice to type in a client name to search using the grid features instead of scrolling through long lists to find claims and information.
Cons
Switching from Ezclaim Advanced to Ezclaim Premier was much more complicated and time-consuming than we expected. The new program requires a lot more training for new users to become confident because its more complex. While it's customizable in many ways, it's also inflexible in others, which has been challenging when certain features do not match our practice's needs. It takes more practice to figure out where everything is and how to complete tasks compared to the simpler Advanced version. We liked the simplicity of some features in Advanced that seem unnecessarily complicated in Premier. However, with increased use, it has become more familiar and less cumbersome. One feature change that added extra work for us is that copays and upfront payments in the Ezclaim Scheduler don't automatically carry over to claim creation. We have to go back and disperse payments entered into the scheduler later when creating claims. Since we bill monthly, this adds extra time, confusion, and potential for human error when ensuring all copays are correctly applied.

“Improvements are needed
Pros
Processing claims is so easy with EZClaim. Even though haven't tried other programs, but honestly I can't imagine there would be anything easier than this.
Cons
I am not a fan of the CITRIX system as it constantly times out on me, even if I just step away for five minutes to grab a cup of coffee. Plus the issue we had with the "cloud" was honestly pretty traumatic, and I really hope we don't have to go through that again. On top of that, I have not been able to use the statement system successfully. Basically, I can't bill patients directly from EZClaim and have to rely on my accounting software instead.

“Excellent service and support
Pros
EZ Claim is very easy to use, has great reporting features and has increased my productivity tenfold since I started my business. Also with the help of it I can easily view specific information quickly to structure my priorities, increase revenue and decrease longstanding debt. It has been a game changer for us.
Cons
At times the functions are not entirely intuitive, but the customer service department goes out of its way to ensure we understand everything. They even train us on how to use them and answer all our follow-up questions.

It is the easiest software I have ever used. Plus it is not at all complicated when it comes to learning. Moreover they have a lot of helpful information on the site, and the staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help.

Pros
EZClaim is easy to use, which I really like about it. Also it is great for bringing new people on board since it doesn't take much training to get them up to speed. Setting up users and adjusting their settings is quick and straightforward too.
Cons
I have been running into an issue with duplicate service lines. For some reason, the system isn't picking them up or alerting me when they happen. Since we have a few different people entering charges, I have started noticing these duplicates popping up. One thing I'd love to see is having the charge entry start with the date. Right now, it defaults to POS which is always the same for my work. Also it is annoying when we have to back tab just to get to the date field. Also, I wish there was a shortcut to add the claim instead of having to click. I'm a keyboard person, so the more hotkeys and shortcuts there are, the better. It would make things a lot more efficient, and we'd get more entries done faster.

Pros
The entire system is pretty simple to use. My favorite feature is the templates. I set up templates for the most common types of appointments which allows me to create and finish a claim in less than 30 seconds. It saves me and my staff a ton of time.
Cons
One thing I did not like is that I have to manually input every new patient. Plus I can't use a CSV upload to add many patients at once.

Not only is it highly intuitive, but I also like the fact that it lets multiple providers use one account.
Cons
I really dislike the downtimes during working hours. This is something that makes me very nervous that it might happen again. I need this to work at full capacity. Also I think the support team needs to be more skilled to prevent these downtimes.

Pros
Well I really like how everything flows so easily and how convenient it is to have everything in one place. I don't have to keep jumping between different tabs to create a claim or enter patient info, which makes things a lot simpler.
Cons
One thing I don't like is that we cannot create custom reports or filter what we need for reporting purposes.
