Pros

It is remarkably simple to use and highly accessible and I love that it performs very well on our mobile tablets, while their technical support team has been outstanding whenever we've reached out.

I appreciate that it's highly customizable and I find it easy to access and operate the specific features I rely on regularly.

Cons

I do wish there were more built-in guides or prompts to help me discover features because I've found that figuring everything out on my own isn't always very easy.

Handles multiple programs

Pros

After almost two decades on this tool, I've stuck with it for 18 years and haven't regretted the decision, our organization runs more than fifteen distinct programs, each with its own reporting demands and AWARDS handles them all. My managers can keep an eye on multiple programs through daily keyword alerts that get sent automatically and they can pull up Service Plans, Reviews and Assessments in just a few clicks. We also appreciate being able to design and modify our own forms whenever reporting requirements shift which keeps us flexible.

Cons

Because it's web-based, I occasionally notice minor glitches but whenever I report an issue, the support team fixes it quickly. Those brief interruptions usually don't derail our workflow.

Pros

For our team, the documentation, auditing and compliance capabilities have been incredibly valuable and while we're still getting up to speed with Billing Builder, I appreciate that the tool's features are continually being enhanced through regular updates, additionally, the report and form builders have provided substantial benefits to our organization and their training arm is excellent, offering numerous complimentary sessions that cover different modules, recent additions and other features in depth.

Cons

Some functions require a lot of data entry which I find tedious and time-consuming. The Billing Builder has a steep learning curve that took significant effort to master and certain features, like Form Builder, are limited to a few users. Setting up Billing Builder and scheduling workflows can also feel awkward and difficult at times.

the way everything is organized and presented really helps since it tends to be quite simple when I'm handling easy tasks and I can generate reports without fuss, although they aren't extremely granular, still, the way those reports are formatted usually makes them easy for me to scan and understand.

Cons

Not a con but I get frustrated when I make a mistake because going backward is tricky. Often, I have to restart a process from scratch instead of picking up where I left off. For example, if I slip up while entering a service, I have to start over, whereas in other areas the back button works. That inconsistency really slows me down.

feasible and highly reliable tool

When I compare this program's system to other e-prescribing and clinical products I've used, it clearly stands out as a far superior option in terms of overall performance and usability and it feels much more simple for everyday tasks, over the past eight to nine months I've noticed the support team improve dramatically, with response times now being excellent which has made a real difference in our workflows. From my perspective this solution outperforms similar e-prescribing programs we've tried: the documentation is far more accessible to everyone who needs it, the forms are simpler to complete than those in other systems I've found at different mental health clinics and the e-prescribing flow has been significantly smoother, in fact, for the last nine months we've had no major issues. When I prescribe with this tool it takes far fewer steps, it's faster and more simple and I can immediately confirm whether a prescription was successfully transmitted which is something I've often not been able to do with other vendors that can leave you wondering for days whether a transmission ever reached the pharmacy, that kind of uncertainty has caused patients to be unable to fill prescriptions in other systems, sometimes only revealed after several days. Considering the relatively low cost, I find this program delivers far more value than many of the inefficient, pricey alternatives we evaluated. From what I understand and from my hands-on experience, the control panel is easy enough for clinic supervisors to manage directly, enabling them to resolve common problems with progress notes and other clinical forms without needing constant vendor intervention. I will admit that when we first rolled it out the initial training wasn't as thorough or comprehensive as I would have liked but over the last nine months the agency supervisors have done an excellent job training staff and that particular issue has improved markedly, overall I now have a very positive impression of this system and I would recommend it.

As an RSS customer since 2008, I've watched this technology evolve and consistently rely on it because it delivers an efficient, cost-effective product that supports a wide range of program types and given how quickly things change these days, partnering with a vendor that stays innovative and responds promptly seems critical to the long-term success of all agencies.

Speaking as the Administrator at a peer-run, peer-operated agency in New York City, I can honestly say that the people behind this technology are approachable and very well-informed and whenever I've had a question or run into an issue they jump on it right away to get things sorted out. Over the years I've worked with a variety of mainframe and web-based databases and hands down this one has been the least frustrating to use, largely because the screens are simple and there's a surprising amount of flexibility built in for customization. Often I find there are multiple routes to accomplish the same task which sounds like it could get confusing but in practice means I don't have to backtrack when moving on to the next step. When I need to add or modify a list of options, it's typically done almost immediately. On the regulatory front, particularly with changes in the mental health field, they stay proactive and keep everyone informed about upcoming updates and they continually adjust the software as new service guidelines are issued by oversight bodies. They also communicate when they're rolling out major changes so I'm not blindsided. The online help documentation is updated to mirror software changes and includes step-by-step instructions for many common procedures which I rely on. I also take advantage of the free monthly web trainings and refreshers they offer and I find the annual Expo to be invaluable because it features numerous workshops tailored to anyone from line staff to managers, administrators, IT personnel and executives, with staff available to answer questions in person. Because of all this, I've recommended their software to anyone who's asked for my opinion.

Don't have any negatives to report, nothing about the product or the support has been frustrating for me.

I've found the product outstanding, it has been instrumental in gathering essential data and allows me to produce a wide range of demographic and statistical reports for my program. The interface is simple and includes numerous critical features. Their customer service is excellent, with skilled support staff available to help with technical issues. backbone of daily workflows

Ive relied on this tool at Lakeview for well over a dozen years and in that time it's really become the backbone of how we manage daily documentation and routine functions, easily supporting our workflows. From the very day we signed up through the present, we've worked with the same Senior Project Manager which has made communication far smoother and more consistent than I expected. As regulations shift constantly, I've appreciated that the platform can evolve with our organizational needs, scaling and adapting rather than forcing us to retrofit processes. What stands out for me are the 24/7 Helpdesk resources that get issues resolved quickly when the comprehensive online help doesn't cover something, plus the Meaningful Use Certification and HIPAA compliance that were decisive for our procurement. Because the software is web-based, our staff can work remotely without missing a beat and the addition of certified electronic signatures is finally moving us toward our long-term goal of fully paperless electronic records.

Cons

I don't really have any complaints to offer, there aren't any glaring drawbacks I've found and nothing significant enough has come up for me to list as a con given how well the solution fits our needs.
