Workflow that simplifies staff training

Pros

For our team, the workflow suits us very well and we find it easy to onboard new hires because once someone hits the update button, the prompts clearly guide them on what step to take next which makes training much easier.

Cons

I find that certain reporting features prevent me from using the back button which forces me to repeatedly restart the process for every program I attempt to run, creating a frustrating interruption in my workflow.

simple interface for easy learning

What I really appreciate is how simple the interface is and how quickly I was able to pick it up, since the learning curve felt very gentle.

Cons

However, I get annoyed by the excessive white space that appears when I'm composing documentsbecause it bloats the length and makes files feel much longer than they need to be.

flexible form builder tools

Pros

I like the flexibility in the form builders and reporting tools, since I can design virtually any form I require and then extract the resulting data from the system with minimal effort.

Cons

I've run into problems because it doesn't integrate smoothly with Dr's First and Carasolva, maybe they're incompatible or just don't play nicely togetherand on top of that, I really feel the product lacks a proper patient portal for pushing forms to clients, collecting payments and sending appointment reminders.

I'm impressed by their customer service and how promptly they respond to our county's needs, customer support stood by Bergen County from the very beginning when we launched this HMIS technology tool, guiding us through setup.

Cons

Occasionally we face delays when HUD issues arise which I find frustrating at times, though in the end they usually resolve the problems and deliver what's needed.

As an implementation team member, I found putting this together surprisingly simple and now I have every bit of information I need right at hand, literally at my fingertips and reachable with a single click which saves me time and keeps things efficient.

Cons

I don't have the authority to fix errors on my own, so I usually need to route problems through one of the managers at my agency or depend on customer service to resolve them which means extra waiting and coordination.

Simple tracking and monitoring

From my perspective this program is great because it's simple to learn and I can easily pull up our roster to monitor each person I support and keep detailed track of everyone I serve.

Cons

What bothers me most is that since the recent upgrade the notes print with fonts that are far too small to read comfortably and I really wish the developers would revert the typesetting to a larger font size.

While I've used several other platforms, I really appreciate how easy this product is to use overall because it lets me get things done quickly without a steep learning curve.

Cons

It would be great if there were ways to import precisely the specific pieces of data I need into the report buildersbecause right now some builders include options that others simply lack which ends up making parts of our reporting fairly difficult to accomplish. I often find myself wishing for the ability to pull exactly and only those particular fields onto a single report, since having that level of control would make the system feel perfect for our needs. Additionally, I'm interested in learning more about the Medicaid functionality within this tool, although I don't believe we currently have access to that module.

We originally used this tool as our company's electronic health record for a period before transitioning to RMA and even now we continue to use this tool within our department as an internal roster system while also relying on it to supply e-consent values to the Bronx RHIO and to Healthix, so it still plays a useful role in our workflow.

Cons

I haven't come across any drawbacks while using this technology, in my experience there are no notable cons to report from our day-to-day use.

Simple reporting and scheduling

Pros

I've found it incredibly simple to generate reports, any data entered into the system can be pulled into a report which makes analysis easy and the Form Builder and Plan Builder are incredibly user-friendly, while scheduling through the Charting Timetable works brilliantly. Overall, it's a very simple EHR.

Cons

One change I'd like is that every form could trigger a notification to the required signers so they know there's something awaiting their signaturebecause at the moment I have to follow up manually. I'm also really eager for a client portal so the people we support, or their guardians, can sign documents directly online and another small but important change I'd like is in the progress notes, being able to tick off a goal and immediately have a textbox appear beneath it where staff can describe how they supported the person before moving on to the next goal. Despite these wishes, this remains the best EHR we have ever used.

Having used this platform, I've found it remarkably user-friendly and quick to adapt whenever regulatory requirements change and their support team and help desk consistently provide excellent service, it's a full-featured system that supports electronic records and because access is permission-based I can see HR, Quality Improvement, auditing, billing and program teams all operate within the same platform, while the developers continually push updates and improvements.

Cons

The billing module can be a bit tricky for me to get fully working in our workflows, though I've been told an update to fix these issues is planned soon.

One thing I appreciate most about this tool is having a real person to talk to about any problems and because I've worked with this tool for many years I can say I've consistently received timely assistance, the staff are pleasant to collaborate with, possess deep knowledge of the product and make problem-solving feel easy.

Cons

At first, adopting the product made me nervous but after hands-on help, on-site support and the ability to call or email team members through the platform, I became more comfortable. Now, I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about this tool.
