“Great customer support

Pros

The customer service is exceptional and the software meets all of our needs perfectly. We can complete all of our tasks within the confines of the program, which makes everything much more efficient.

Cons

I did notice that the appointment booking is slow especially when I looked in to other softwares.

“Easy transition process!

Pros

I had no problem with the transition process. its very easy to set up according to your clinical needs. Tutorials are super amazing to learn from. It has increased the productivity and navigation system is quite smooth too.

They are highly adaptable and meet the difficult requirements of our state.

Cons

The program is a mess with an overwhelming number of buttons. Documenting services feels like navigating through a maze. The system tends to go down randomly which can be quite annoying. Additionally the outdated appearance resembling Windows 95 is both funny and a bit sad. We had to undergo a week of training and create step by step procedures because the provided training wasn't sufficient.

“A horribly misrepresented product

Pros

The customer service provided within the product is prompt and responsive. This is key because you'll often need their assistance.

Cons

ICANotes is noticeably slower compared to other EMRs and computer programs. There are areas where you get stuck and can't proceed such as receiving an error message when creating a patient chart without all the required information. The interface itself looks grainy and unclear, making it difficult to work with throughout the day. Scrolling is too fast, and the text windows are small, leading to difficulties in highlighting and scrolling through text within the boxes. The copy/paste functionality is inconvenient, requiring the use of an app-specific clipboard. It's challenging to refer to prior notes during a session, making it difficult to answer important questions. Updating different areas of the medical chart can only be done through specific notes, which can be cumbersome. Uploading documents requires accessing a separate website, and there's no patient communication log.

It helps me in keeping my documents up to date and is adequate for my clinical practice. functions like edit, save and print are just one click away which makes the whole workflow very efficient.

It is a very legible software and I found it extremely user-friendly. Redefined notes after claims are the few details which are worth mentioning. I noticed that typing personalized information has never been easier for me!

I think their scheduling feature is a little underpowered. It can be improved.

It is a very solid yet basic software which is quite easy to use. Their tech teams takes responsibility of training which is quite effortless. It can be accessed through your phones and tablets with well integrated connection with main database.

It is extremely simple to use but a bit expensive. Improvement in billing section will make it one of the best software to use.

Pros

The software has impressive features that allow you to create mental health forms like screening questionnaires treatment plans with measurable objectives and thorough mental health assessments. Creating case notes is also easy with a comprehensive mental health status examination. Plus you can link your treatment plan and case notes to track progress in treatment. The software includes a comprehensive list of all psychotropic medications.

The software has all the essential features for mental health providers including CPT codes assessment forms consents a fully integrated calendar with automatic patient reminders and the ability to connect with a clearinghouse for electronic billing. It also has a patient portal making it easy to create clinical notes. Additionally it includes a telehealth platform making it very helpful and functional.

“User Friendly Great Customer Service

It is very user friendly, making note completion easy. The customer service and training are outstanding, better than any other system I've used. The teletherapy feature is seamless, the portal is intuitive and effective and the ability to customize forms is a major advantage. The extensive library of screening tools available for in-session use or sending to clients is truly impressive. I'm amazed by the wealth of resources.

Cons

I regret not trying this system sooner. While there is a learning curve, the upcoming update is expected to address this issue and make the interface more modern.

Pros

ICAN EHR is very easy to navigate. Many tutorials are available to guide you and customer staff is also there to help you out, I am extremely satisfied and i have been recommending it to people.

As I mentioned, I love this EHR software and I have not faced any issue while using this software.

Pros

This software works well for me. It did take me a little while to get a hang of it but since then things have become way easier. The staff is great in terms of help and resolving problems. The notes are very thorough and everything else works perfectly.

This software lacks the feature of telehealth but I am pretty sure it will be added soon.

The left to right organization is highly efficient and logical.

The choices in the drop down menus often lean toward more pathological options requiring me to type more than I would prefer.

Pros

The color coded system helps highlight important billing and missing data, making it easy to spot.

Cons

Its frustrating that we have to manually input all the details in the start. Other billing programs pre populate most details apart from patient data, including codes, payer IDs and payers.

Once you get the hang of it, creating standardized notes becomes incredibly fast. This is particularly helpful when I have to do group notes for multiple patients simultaneously.

The interface gives off a dated 90s vibe making it hard to create customized notes since the software isn't designed for manual input.

The screens are overloaded with information making it difficult to see everything clearly. I am not a fan of the yellow background.
