I prefer writing paper prescriptions, so my issues are not with MDToolbox but with any online e-prescribing system.

I appreciate how straightforward and user-friendly this program is. It covers all the medications I need to prescribe and offers many additional features. We prescribe MAT and being able to send prescriptions directly to pharmacies without issues has been invaluable. Patients appreciate this service as much as we do.

The assistance I received during setup was excellent. The staff guided me through the process swiftly and accurately entered my patient information. Plus, the program is always up and running!

Pros

The login process to access the program where all my patient information resides is simple and secure, ensuring patient and data privacy. Having a complete medication history for patients is an invaluable tool to monitor medication adherence.

Up to now, I have not had any negative experiences while using MDToolbox-Rx. It gives me comfort knowing that only the pharmacy is aware of the medication plan, and selecting a patient is straightforward.

Implementation is easy, and the system is intuitive to use.

Cons

The ICD-10 diagnosis generator is flawed and non-operational. I always have to Google search for an ICD-10 diagnosis code to input into the program.

Pros

Very user-friendly, allows e-prescribing from anywhere, and makes medication refill and renewal simple.

Cons

It does not always link to PDMP, but to be fair, none of the other EMR systems link 100% to PDMP either.

I appreciate how easy it is to use. I can see my colleague's prescribing history and send prescriptions to any e-scribing enabled location seamlessly.

There is nothing negative that I can think of. My experience has been mostly positive.
