Pros

I like that it has not changed much. We have had this software for over 15 years, and we love it. It's very easy to navigate, and the customer support is excellent.

Cons

Pros

I love how easy it is to schedule and send out claims. Automatically posted claims make my life much easier.

Cons

Secondary claims that need to be sent to insurances often don't go automatically, leading to uncertainty about whether I'm doing something wrong or if it's a system issue.

Everything hinges on the sales team, which unfortunately is incompetent and unresponsive. Even after several years, attempting to add Texting requires starting with them, and their lack of responsiveness is frustrating.

Customer Support needs significant improvement. We pay $3000.00 for our support contract, yet we typically wait about 3 hours on average for a callback on each ticket. Any support calls made after 3pm EST are not returned until the next business day.

Overall good software

Pros

I love that the confirmation texts for appointments go out the day before. We set them to send at 11 am, and shortly after, confirmations and cancellations start rolling in. This gives us time to reschedule patients and accommodate those waiting for appointments.

Cons

I am not a fan of having to submit a ticket and wait for a callback when contacting customer service. The wait time is too long. Also, printing a statement for a patient could be more efficient; I often joke with patients that it takes "just nine easy steps to get a receipt."

MedicsPremier is incredibly intuitive. We can swiftly and effectively handle tasks to manage our busy medical practice. MedicsPremier effortlessly covers every aspect of office operations. We can tailor forms in the letter module to support patient care and daily tasks. We rarely encounter issues, but when we do, support is prompt and efficient.

Cons

We've been very satisfied with Premier for over 20 years. The only problem is when making an appointment, if multiple screens are open, the demographics might not save.

A medical software that has grown with me for almost 30 years

Pros

I can provide my clients and patients with reliable information in under a minute. As a billing company, I have always been able to supply specific reports upon request. My software provider has always responded quickly to my needs, regardless of the issue's size. Most importantly, when my hardware crashed years ago, my data was retrieved, and I was back up and running within hours.

Cons

I was initially overwhelmed by Medics Premiers interface. It took a few days to get used to the abundance of information displayed on the screen.

Pros

The software is intuitive, and if we encounter a problem, customer service quickly provides a solution.

Cons

I did like to see better customization options for forms. We've requested specific forms in the past, and while Medics created something usable, it was not exactly what we wanted. Our EHR software provides a customizable Word document, which has been wonderful to use.
