“Medisoft is easy to use
Pros
Learning and using Medisoft has been fairly easy for me. Also the ERA posting feature is really handy because it lets you review all the service lines before posting.
Cons
The ICN numbers are stored at the case level which makes it really difficult and time-consuming to submit corrected or voiced claims. Also the reporting feature has a lot of limitations. Even though you can print reports to an Excel file, the headings appear on every page which causes issues. And the payment section in the transaction window is tough to read, and there's no clear reference to the transaction thats been posted.

Cons

Pros
For over 20 years, I am using this software and I love how they keep improving it with new features that save our office time and cut down on paperwork. Plus their layout is simple and it offers more features than my small office typically uses.
Cons
Well I actually have an add-on feature from an outside vendor for texting and calling patients to remind them about appointments. Even though it works perfectly, but it would be nice if that was included directly in the software.

With Medisoft it is easy to integrate patient and insurance details. And as a 15 year old user I never face any sort of trouble.
Cons
Having text reminders for patient appointments, with an interface for them to respond or schedule, would be convenient.

What I like the most is how easy it is to log in from different computers, plus I always have a constant backup of my data. And anytime I've needed technical support, they were always their handled everything quickly and professionally.
Cons
There really is not anything I dislike. I have only been using it for about a year, so I am not sure about upgrades, but I am assuming and hoping they'll go smoothly, like everything else.

Cons

I am Medisoft user for years, and overall, it's a really good quality product.
Cons
The main issue I have had is that it doesn't have automatic grammar correction. If you write a sentence with a mistake, it just stays there, which is frustrating and definitely needs to be fixed manually. Plus I have also experienced glitches where the entire exam or the history of present illness disappears. Like it is there when you first type your notes, but when you go back to look at them a week later, it is gone. This is unacceptable, especially in todays litigious environment. Another big problem is that it doesn't automatically update CPT or ICD-10 codest. Also, sometimes the allergy section won't let me update or add new information which is a huge issue. It should always be available. It takes a few weeks for it to update automatically, but only after I restart the server. So, for those few weeks, I can't update that section at all and this happens often.

My experience went really great. Whether it's updates, glitches or even issues I have caused myself, Medisoft and the team I have worked with was always available to assist me. Plus I really like the software because it's easy to use and I can quickly move through different tabs and set things up the way I want. Plus, I love how customizable it is to fit my needs. Laslty the free updates are a huge plus, and it's great that I can always get assistance whenever I need it.
Cons

The script for controlled substances is really helpful. Plus I can create my own templates, billing codes and diagnosis lists, which makes things a lot easier.
Cons
I have had some issues with the software, like duplication in the list of medications. Also it is not easy to renew them either. The title and date fields are not very user-friendly and sometimes the software closes before I can finish completing the chart.
