Easy and nice

Pros

It is consistently good and you get to be able to do whatever you need with it and it does not let you down.

Cons

Sometimes there have been a few delays but honestly, theyre are such rare instances that it is almost negligible.

Very limited functions

Pros

I had a chance to use Meditech EHR in a medium-sized clinic for administration and care of orthopedic patients. Generally, it was great at providing access to data both inside and outside of the emergency clinic. It had a simple layout. Paper notes are easily scanned into the system after patient release. It is good that it does not require a separate PACS system to view images.

Cons

It was troublesome to not be able to complete my rounding from the clinic however because of no capacity to enter a progress report directly into the framework. It does not allow you to dictate or type in data directly into the system. Issuing patient discharges is a tedious and time-consuming process requiring too many steps.

Limited EHR

Pros

Accessing information through simple windows is convenient and remote access is possible if set up by administration. Images can be accessed within the program without a separate PACs system.

Cons

Lack of direct note writing or dictation within the system prolongs discharge processes. Extra steps and clicks contribute to the delay.

allows fast and efficient working

Pros

The system is very fast and user-friendly in comparison to Mckesson which I was previously using before I switched to Meditech. Charting takes up a lot less time as compared to before. Online scheduling, screening, and clinical history data saves a lot of time and effort.

Cons

It tends to be very slow sometimes. I trust this wont be lasting since it is new and hoping they will improve that later on. I discover my screen crashes or halts constantly. Another unsettling thing is that on the off chance that I am working on one individuals chart, I cant change to another patient without leaving my present screen.

Pros

I cant find any pros for this EHR I have no compliments whatsoever.

Cons

The layout is incredibly poor lacking customizable options expected in modern EHR systems. Navigation and order processing are particularly unintuitive posing potential dangers.

A good EMR for hospitals. Facilitates communicative healthcare

It allows for a productive connection with other healthcare workers in an organization which means doctors and staff in all department have a communicative relationship that aids in providing a better working environment. Good integration among different departments primarily means that reporting, scheduling, labs are always in one place. The intuitive EMR enable doctors to review reports easily because the system is set up to facilitate easy access to their data at whatever point. Reduces paperwork and the possibility of data loss. easy to use with training. Highly recommended for hospitals.

Cons

It is not simple to navigate without proper training and the need for IT staff help regarding some complex issues. Their customer service can be troubling at times, as they can be slow. Meditech is quite costly.

I cant think of anything positive to say about this product after using it for 10 years without any noticeable changes.

Cons

Its frustrating to rely solely on arrow keys for navigation as one wrong key press resets the process.

Truly awful service

Pros

When there is so much wrong with a system, it is nearly impossible to notice anything good. That is if there exist any which I hardly think so

Cons

Meditech is the worst among all the EHR software I have operated over the years. I have been using Meditech for nearly two years and I still struggle to find a single upside of suffering through the utter ordeal that is this software. Even the latest version has nothing good to offer. The system is the opposite of intuitive. Requires extensive search to locate any crucial piece of data. If any prescription is listed incompatible with the patient, scanning it won’t issue any warning regarding that. The documentation is a waste and does not look anything like something that is built with a medical setup in mind.

When bad software won't die

Pros

Compared to other EHRs Ive used Meditech is the worst.

Cons

After two years of use Ive yet to find any advantages to this software. Critical information is difficult to locate and the lack of intuitive features poses risks. Its concerning that clinician input wasnt considered during development.

The system was purchased before I joined the job. Im eagerly anticipating the arrival of the latest update Meditech 6.16.

Cons

I find the worklists lacking in customization options and patient prioritization. Theres no option for a hard stop when necessary.

Pros

Customizable widgets on the opening screen make reviewing patient data fairly straightforward.

Cons

The software feels cumbersome requiring numerous unnecessary steps and clicks. Meditechs lack of responsiveness to improvement suggestions is disappointing. I wouldnt recommend purchasing this system.

complete waste of resources

Pros

I struggle to find anything good about this system. The interface design is awful. It is not at all user-friendly or intuitive. Small tasks require too many steps.

Cons

It is so evident how little logic or thought has been put into creating Meditech software. The system is slow and always has glitches. It crashes at any time, causing data loss. the service almost feels like something that makes it harder to attend to the needs of our patients instead of what it was designed to do i.e. make it easier.

Pros

Theres very little to like about this system. I struggle to find any positive aspects. It seems common sense and user experience were not prioritized during its construction.

Cons

From its foundation to the user interface the product is poorly constructed. It frequently encounters bugs leading to sudden crashes. Navigating through excessive clicks and scrolls hampers patient care.

Not at all user-friendly and hard to navigate

Pros

Training is provided by the company to the staff to equip them with the necessary skills in order to operate the system. It is more suitable or smaller practices and clinics. The customization feature is nice in Meditech systems

Cons

We had it in the ER facility and it was a nightmare to use. It does not let you treat a triage unless the entire region is accounted for. I wont be wrong to say it put my patients health in jeopardy many times, especially in the case of those in need of immediate care. There were similar complaints made by people in other departments. The reports are unnecessarily long and nothing but a waste of paper.
