“very old school program

Pros

Learning the program didnt take much time its quite simple and straightforward effectively completing tasks.

Cons

The system feels outdated and requires updates. Navigating through numerous screens is cumbersome especially with heavy reliance on arrow keys.

It enables thorough and compliant documentation. Were in the process of upgrading to the newer Meditech version.

Cons

The current version feels antiquated upgrading is advisable for existing Meditech users. The staff is cooperative.

Theres nothing positive to say. Despite costing millions for our small hospital our IT department had to build the system. Though the company provided support they often cited limitations when asked to streamline or expand specific features.

It operates sluggishly requiring excessive clicks for simple tasks. Despite customization by our proficient IT department inherent dysfunctions persist. Challenges include limited text entry space unexpected deletions cumbersome med reconciliation and slow record retrieval. The systems unintuitiveness led to resistance from some staff doctors across multiple hospitals.

“The system is slow and bulky, not at all user-friendly

Pros

I cannot think of any upside to the expensive system costing millions of dollars for a small local hospital providing a lousy and difficult to use service. Meditech does not have much to offer. Its services come with limitations. I, along with the IT department had to build the system ourselves. There was no support offered by the company whatsoever. The staff, however nice could not provide any meaningful help regarding the setup and streamlining of the system.

Cons

The system is cumbersome and painfully slow. even small tasks require multiple clicks and steps. We have a great IT team who built the customized system according to our needs but for some unfathomable reason, the system is by default dysfunctional. Even after two years of use, no one is satisfied with is working. There are still some doctors who refuse to use it.

Pros

Good software, easy to run and customer support is very helpful.

Cons

The data on the screens could flow a little better for ease on the eyes. Integration is a little complex as well.

The EMR system streamlines charting with checkoff boxes and includes a pharmacy module.

Cons

Inadequate templates and limitations on freehand charting coupled with the inability to acknowledge multiple medications simultaneously.

Its relatively easy to use but somewhat outdated in design facilitating navigation. Additionally we can purchase modules to upgrade as needed.

Cons

Producing professional medical documents is hindered by the inability to format or adjust margins easily resulting in a messy layout.

It includes features like medication dose times selfloading blood glucose levels and alerts for new labs and orders.

Cons

Nursing assessments are inconveniently grouped making charting less efficient. Improvements are needed in locating specific reports and images for enhanced userfriendliness.

Pros

This EMR is incredibly cumbersome requiring excessive clicks for simple tasks. The layout is poorly organized making data display challenging.

Cons

The entire product requires a comprehensive overhaul due to its cumbersome unintuitive and poorly designed nature.
