This software feels quite dated. It lacks intuitiveness and could benefit from a visual update. Navigating through multiple screens before obtaining results is cumbersome. Occasionally Ive accidentally exited out of it.

Cons
My main issue with this system is the difficulty in using certain functions efficiently as they require more training and familiarity. Theres room for improvement to make all functionalities more intuitive.

Theres nothing I find appealing about this software.
Cons
To access simple information like lab trends or previous summaries it takes at least 45 steps. Theres no option to link with EMR systems from other facilities. Lack of customer support is a significant drawback. For instance in my facility resolving issues with charts takes over 2 weeks.

There had always been a problem regarding communication between separate divisions in our hospital, Meditech effectively resolved that. Meditech is so easy to use, it almost enables you to enjoy your work. Managing different aspects and departments is made exponentially simpler with this EHR. It is user-friendly and great for both small and large healthcare facilities.
Cons
It is a little heavy on the expensive side. It works smoothly as long as you do all things right. But one tiny error sets it off balance and is really hard to fix. Small tasks require precise steps to produce results. Can be a hassle.

I had a chance to use Meditech EHR in a medium-sized clinic for administration and care of orthopedic patients. Generally, it was great at providing access to data both inside and outside of the emergency clinic. It had a simple layout. Paper notes are easily scanned into the system after patient release. It is good that it does not require a separate PACS system to view images.
Cons
It was troublesome to not be able to complete my rounding from the clinic however because of no capacity to enter a progress report directly into the framework. It does not allow you to dictate or type in data directly into the system. Issuing patient discharges is a tedious and time-consuming process requiring too many steps.

The system is very fast and user-friendly in comparison to Mckesson which I was previously using before I switched to Meditech. Charting takes up a lot less time as compared to before. Online scheduling, screening, and clinical history data saves a lot of time and effort.
Cons
It tends to be very slow sometimes. I trust this wont be lasting since it is new and hoping they will improve that later on. I discover my screen crashes or halts constantly. Another unsettling thing is that on the off chance that I am working on one individuals chart, I cant change to another patient without leaving my present screen.

Cons

There had always been a problem regarding communication between separate divisions in our hospital, Meditech effectively resolved that. Meditech is so easy to use, it almost enables you to enjoy your work. Managing different aspects and departments is made exponentially simpler with this EHR. It is user-friendly and great for both small and large healthcare facilities.
Cons
It is a little heavy on the expensive side. It works smoothly as long as you do all things right. But one tiny error sets it off balance and is really hard to fix. Small tasks require precise steps to produce results. Can be a hassle.

I had a chance to use Meditech EHR in a medium-sized clinic for administration and care of orthopedic patients. Generally, it was great at providing access to data both inside and outside of the emergency clinic. It had a simple layout. Paper notes are easily scanned into the system after patient release. It is good that it does not require a separate PACS system to view images.
Cons
It was troublesome to not be able to complete my rounding from the clinic however because of no capacity to enter a progress report directly into the framework. It does not allow you to dictate or type in data directly into the system. Issuing patient discharges is a tedious and time-consuming process requiring too many steps.

The system is very fast and user-friendly in comparison to Mckesson which I was previously using before I switched to Meditech. Charting takes up a lot less time as compared to before. Online scheduling, screening, and clinical history data saves a lot of time and effort.
Cons
It tends to be very slow sometimes. I trust this wont be lasting since it is new and hoping they will improve that later on. I discover my screen crashes or halts constantly. Another unsettling thing is that on the off chance that I am working on one individuals chart, I cant change to another patient without leaving my present screen.
