Pros
I love that this EMR works with an iPad so I can show patients their data right in front of them. Plus its specifically designed for ophthalmology which makes it the top choice for me.
Cons
I find the PC version quite complicated. The layout is so different from the iPad version that its almost unrecognizable. Unless theyve updated it recently.

Pros
I really love how easy it is to access all the pages I need. Everything is laid out clearly and I can quickly find what I'm looking for with just a few clicks. It saves me so much time!
Cons
I wish the patient account notes were more visible, like on the front page before checking in. It would save me some time.

Pros
It is super organized which makes it really easy to get around. I never feel lost and I can always find exactly what I need without any confusion.
Cons
I work a lot in the faxes tab and honestly it could use some better organization. I mainly need to see referrals but once they're linked to a patient chart, they can get lost. It would be so much easier if there were a dedicated referral tab that keeps everything organized while still linking to the patient. Also it would be super helpful if we could preview the fax when creating a task. Sometimes I accidentally task the wrong fax and end up double-checking everything just because I can't preview it. The only way to check is by looking at the fax number, which isn't always ideal.

Pros
Navigation is seriously very smooth! I can jump between tabs without any issues and everything loads quickly. I never have to waste time searching for things.
Cons

“satisfied with ModMed so far”
Pros
Everything is so well-organized and it integrates easily with our patient scheduling system. The whole setup just makes my work flow a lot more smoothly, which is a huge time-saver.
Cons
One thing I don't like is that I can't delete an intramail like a regular email. also when an appointment is canceled in our scheduling system, eCw, it doesn't show as canceled on ModMed which is frustrating.

Cons
My least favorite thing is not having an option for dark mode. It'd be nice to have it, especially for working longer hours.

Pros
One of my favorite things is how everything gets automatically filled in for me. It's such a time-saver and I don't have to worry about entering the same information over and over again.
Cons
All the updates and downtime are a bit much. Switching back and forth between practice and add-on isn't ideal.

Pros
It's really easy to go through and super fast. There's no lag or delay, which is a big deal when you're trying to get things done quickly. It feels really smooth and responsive.
Cons

“Happy overall, just a few concerns”
Pros
I love how billing and note-writing are integrated into the system. I can easily see the cost of each CPT code and quickly run financial reports or sort them by various fields. It's also really easy to modify the schedule or add new time blocks, making everything a lot less stressful.
Cons
A few issues I've noticed: 1) There's not enough follow-up on billing. 2) Scrolling in the OCTs in image management is backwards and not intuitive. 3) Updates take forever; I was told the OCT scrolling issue would take 2-3 years to fix. 4) You can't change the "sticky" fields and some important ones like saving faxes to the patient's chart are now un-sticky, which is a pain.

Cons

Pros
I apperciate that anyone at any of our 4 locations can work on the same patient at the same time. The whole system is easy to use from almost any angle.
Cons
It would be great if I could enter more info, like nicknames, right on the scheduling screen. In our office, we usually find the date and time of the appointment and double-click to start scheduling but some details don't show up unless you create the patient first and find the date and time later, which is a problem.

I find it really easy to use. The follow-up tabs make it simple to document and I love being able to look at past findings to track my patients.
Cons
For the body map, the pretibial area is huge and it's hard to document multiple biopsy sites there with different names for clarity.
