A simpler journey for patients

Pros

What I appreciate most about this tool is the way it simplifies the whole patient journey. Between simple appointment booking, automatic reminders and the smooth EHR connections, it cuts down on paperwork and makes communication easier. The interface is easy, and I always get quick help from customer support. Overall, I view it as an excellent solution for bringing healthcare practices into the modern era.

Cons

This isn't always fully adaptable to every medical practice's unique setup. In my experience, some integrations and workflows feel somewhat inflexible which can reduce the ability to tailor processes. I think a more sophisticated reporting module would also help & richer analytics and deeper patient-data insights would make the platform far more valuable for practices that rely on detailed metrics.

Almost, but does not understand dentistry

Pros

The software has a flashy and convincing sales approach, boasting about its deep understanding of dentistry. Its appearance is polished and sleek.

Cons

Changes are made without sufficient notice. Workflow and functionality are adjusted on the go, expecting us to adapt. They appease us, but don't truly listen. Support hours are limited. They prioritize the West Coast - support starts at 5am PST, even though the East Coast starts at 8am, to preempt issues before they disrupt our day.

Our new payment system works wonders

Using NexHealth's payments feature has really streamlined our revenue workflow. It automates the whole process of collecting payments from patients, reducing manual work and allowing us to provide several payment choices like SMS and email, which patients find incredibly convenient. Because this is built into our existing NexHealth Patient Engagement platform, we can easily keep an eye on outstanding balances without switching between different systems. That consolidation has clearly boosted our collection rates. Their card terminals are simple to operate and being able to securely save patient card details has sped up our payment processing. All in all, it has made collecting payments smoother, quicker, and more efficient for our staff and patients alike. I highly recommend it to practices wanting to simplify and improve revenue management!

Love their customer service, Mari Juric has been great and itis really easy to use, they've added several extra features and it feels like a company that cares about its customers and actually listens to and acts on suggestions for additional functionality.

Cons

no cons. I've used several other patient management software packages, and those were clunky and didn't integrate well with our existing software systems.

The digital forms sent to new patients and how Nexhealth inputs this into Dentrix are huge time-savers, cutting out errors.

Cons

Occasionally, patients report receiving notices with incorrect times. Even when patients cancel and are removed from the schedule, they still receive appointment reminders for that day.

One Product, Everything We Need

We've been using NexHealth in our office for about 2 years, and what I've always appreciated is its comprehensive suite of services. Beyond just appointment reminders, we can gather reviews (and choose who receives those requests) and provide online bill payment , which our patients find really convenient. And it's all neatly organized in one dashboard on my browser.

Cons

I'd prefer patients to be able to make partial payments without needing me to resend the payment request. Also, adding bulk options or autofill features would enhance this capability even further.
