Almost, but does not understand dentistry
Pros

The software has a flashy and convincing sales approach, boasting about its deep understanding of dentistry. Its appearance is polished and sleek.

Cons

Changes are made without sufficient notice. Workflow and functionality are adjusted on the go, expecting us to adapt. They appease us, but don't truly listen. Support hours are limited. They prioritize the West Coast - support starts at 5am PST, even though the East Coast starts at 8am, to preempt issues before they disrupt our day.

Cons

NO CONS. I primarily used the app for the forms, and it works wonderfully! I absolutely enjoyed it.

Pros

The digital forms sent to new patients and how Nexhealth inputs this into Dentrix are huge time-savers, cutting out errors.

Cons

Occasionally, patients report receiving notices with incorrect times. Even when patients cancel and are removed from the schedule, they still receive appointment reminders for that day.

Pros

It's a powerful tool that automates patient engagement and integrates seamlessly with our Patient Management System. The software is easy to navigate and use, intuitive, and fills the gaps in our PMS's functionality. It's also user-friendly for multiple locations. The support and management teams are accessible and open to our suggestions. The support team is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and knows us personally.

Cons

There's absolutely nothing we dislike. Any missing features or functionalities are currently being developed.

Cons

It would be great to have more specific search options when sorting through patients. I'd appreciate a feature to directly search for "missed" or "cancelled" appointments within the software.

One Product, Everything We Need
Pros

We've been using NexHealth in our office for about 2 years, and what I've always appreciated is its comprehensive suite of services. Beyond just appointment reminders, we can gather reviews (and choose who receives those requests) and provide online bill payment , which our patients find really convenient. And it's all neatly organized in one dashboard on my browser.

Cons

I'd prefer patients to be able to make partial payments without needing me to resend the payment request. Also, adding bulk options or autofill features would enhance this capability even further.

Words can't describe the relief of knowing all our patients have been emailed and texted - not just for confirmations, but also for canceled, missed, and new appointments. In the past, we spent hours on this; now it's automated and done correctly.

It offers capabilities that the Curve software doesn't have, and it goes beyond that to provide additional features and functionalities.

This is the patient communication and scheduling software all dental offices should be using!
Pros

This software is incredibly intuitive, offering great flexibility with modern email templates and integration with most dental software. We've encountered very few bugs so far.

Cons

Since the team constantly releases improvements, we sometimes experience lag due to our specific PMS integration, but they promptly address any issues. It's a minor inconvenience considering how much more this product offers compared to others in the market.

Pros

We appreciate how this software enables simple yet effective communication with our patients. Everyone in NYC has a hectic schedule, and NexHealth allows our patients to schedule appointments, send quick texts, confirm appointments, and pay bills - all from their smartphones!

Cons

The system lacks an efficient way for patients to leave reviews. Our patients find it somewhat cumbersome to transition from NexHealth's 5-star review system (which isn't public) to actually writing a review on Google.

NexHealth is a game changer for my practice
Pros

I love that my patients can schedule appointments anytime, anywhere. I no longer worry about answering phones or listing open slots. Patients can choose a time that suits them and request an appointment. It syncs seamlessly with Curve Dental, and NexHealth is constantly adding new features to improve it. Recently, they added a feature to text and email patients who miss appointments to reschedule.

Cons

Nothing because every suggestion I've had, NexHealth's development team has either incorporated into their system or found a solution. You can't ask for more than that.

Pros

As a former user of Lighthouse and Yapi, I appreciate how well this integrates with Eaglesoft. It's like having a 24/7 front desk that lets patients not only confirm appointments but also book them and make payments.

Cons

The only thing that would make it better is if it included forms for health history, HIPAA, etc.

Pros

Instant and easy access to patients. We especially love the payment feature, using the payment link (not the widget).

Cons

Currently, we can't send or receive images in texts. Also, we experience duplicate accounts in NexHealth, texts sent to one account prompt responses from another. We don't face this issue with Dentrix. Additionally, there's a 45-minute refresh delay.

NexHealth Has changed the game of dentisty forever~
Pros

Real-time communication with our patients via text is invaluable. I also appreciate the detailed information gathered at the time of booking appointments. It's seamless!

Cons

The only issue I've encountered is when patients who've made appointments on NexHealth cancel, yet they still receive reminders. If it's cancelled on our schedule, it should sync and cancel on NexHealth too. We end up having to remove them manually.
