I am really pleased that it syncs with Dentrix because it saves me time and makes using both systems seamless. It's also exciting to me how their billing platform tracks invoices for our practice reliably. I've found the team to be friendly and supportive , they had us operational fast and simplified the dashboard so it's simple to use. The onboarding crew was especially great, guiding us through setup quickly and making the whole process smooth and painless.
Cons

Cons

“Our favorite tool for everything”

I'm really impressed with how attentive the Support Team is and they respond to every concern quickly and within a reasonable timeframe. I haven't run into an issue that wasn't resolved. Beyond the people, the platform itself sticks with you because it's so easy, even if you're not the most comfortable with technology, this is one I would strongly consider. Messaging and texts to patients feel like email threads: you see the patient's name in a little bubble and a long message history opens up, including automated messages that were sent. The Home screen is especially handy, listing all the patients for the day in order of their appointment times. From that same screen I can take payments easily, check whether insurance was verified and toggle Reviews and Reminders on or off without digging through menus. It's all laid out and incredibly simple. Their Insurance Verification is outstanding. When I look at their Insurance Breakdown form, it's impeccably organized , so much so that I can tell someone with dental experience helped design it, because it's concise and presents the most important details first. After comparing Dentrix's insurance layout to NexHealth's, I honestly prefer it every time , it's visually clean and much easier to parse. The Waitlist has become my favorite tool. There are weeks when our hygiene schedule collapses with more than ten cancellations, and the Waitlist rescues us by sending a blast to everyone waiting for an earlier appointment. The patient who claims the slot first is automatically booked and it enters the appointment into our PMS for you. Watching those openings fill up feels almost like a lottery and it's satisfying to see the schedule replenish after just a couple of clicks instead of spending hours calling patients individually. It saves a ton of time and we absolutely love it. Their Payment functionality is another standout. I can send an automated text to a patient showing their balance and the service that generated it , for example, showing a balance from an uncovered exam which makes it easy for patients to understand why they owe money and remit payment without calling to ask. I can also view A/R in a list and with a single click, send a billing blast to multiple patients, which works especially well for younger patients who prefer electronic bills over paper statements. For older patients who still like paper, the system handles that too , they often receive both an email/text and a mailed statement and once that mailed copy arrives they typically call to pay immediately without questions. Overall, It has simplified many processes and made it much easier for our front desk staff to manage daily operations. It has introduced convenient, practice-focused tools that integrate smoothly with our PMS and have genuinely improved how we run the office.
Cons
I have been doing business with it for the past three years and they've improved so much in that time that it's honestly tough to find any real drawbacks.

As the dental office manager, I've dealt with many vendor reps over the years and I can honestly say that Marco and Curtis at it rank among the very best I've encountered. Right from our initial conversation, Marco showed remarkable kindness, patience and attentiveness. Our practice has mainly relied on it for online appointment booking, and although the system's fundamental features have worked well, our staff was reluctant at first to broaden our usage across the rest of the platform. Marco patiently guided us through every option in depth, never hurried us or pressured us into a sale. He walked us step-by-step through how different tools could fit into our daily routine, consistently customizing his recommendations to align with the unique demands of our office. What stood out to me was his consistent follow-through and rapid responses. No question felt insignificant and each email we sent was answered thoughtfully and quickly. He ensured we always felt supported and kept in the loop throughout the whole process. Marco's professional demeanor, thorough knowledge of the product and simple communication turned what could have been an intimidating rollout into something manageable and even energizing. “Saves time but sometimes lags”

At our practice we've been using Nexhealth and it's genuinely transformed how efficiently we work and how we talk with patients. Their appointment confirmation messages and online scheduling tools have freed up so much of our team's time and made things easier for both staff and patients. For years we were, I honestly feel, stuck in the past when it came to card payments , manually typing in card numbers for every charge. We recently turned on Nexhealth's payment capabilities and it totally changed our workflow. The wireless terminals' tap-to-pay option creates a far smoother, faster checkout experience for patients. On top of that the platform gives us the ability to run tailored marketing campaigns that keep us in contact with our patient base and let us quickly push out important communications during weather events or other urgent situations which has been incredibly useful for continuity of care and outreach.
Cons
One drawback we've noticed is an occasional lag between our practice management system and Nexhealth and at times that delay can slow down completing a patient's checkout when a payment is required. It doesn't happen all the time but it's enough to be a frustrating hiccup during busy clinics.

Our customer service is outstanding. Not only are they fast to apply any adjustments we request but they've also assembled teams in the past to troubleshoot problems we've encountered. We rely on it daily to operate our dental practice. It's simple for both front desk staff and the office administrator to use. It syncs smoothly with our dental PMS, and we take advantage of nearly every feature available.
Cons
It doesn't connect with our orthodontic PMS which is a limitation for us. I'd love for them to add a built-in phone system that supports screen pops and call tracking.

Honestly, it is incredibly easy for both our front-desk team and the patients, and Nexhealth's support has been outstanding. I was able to start using the product with virtually no guidance, which really shows how simple it is to pick up and operate. The revamped payment flow is phenomenal, my team and I pulled in over twenty thousand dollars in the past ninety days and issues with old statements that used to trip us up are now resolved by the new payment collection setup. It's so much simpler to manage!

I like that it integrates with Open Dental, the forms are sent straight into patients' accounts, which makes things consistently useful across the board.
Cons
It's not exactly a negative point, however I would prefer if messages exchanged between NexHealth and our office automatically populated the patient's communication log in our practice management software, since that would align record keeping and reduce manual entries.

It is simple to use. The software lets me tweak settings a lot to suit our workflow. Their support crew has been fantastic whenever I've needed help and being able to send statements through text or email has been a game-changer for me.
Cons
One problem I've run into with their payment collection setup is that patients aren't given the option to make partial payments toward a requested balance, from what I've seen, they can only submit the full amount at once.

I love how easy NexHealth's digital forms are, they've made things so much simpler for our front desk and daily workflows. When I needed assistance, reaching Customer Service was simple and a rep patiently walked me through how to create or update a form while actually taking the time to understand our specific needs. We recently enabled the Payments feature , the implementation was smooth and simple and we haven't felt the need to return to our previous provider. On top of that, the messaging tool lets us set up an unlimited number of "auto texts," which we rely on multiple times every day.
Cons
On the downside, our waitlist is over 1,200 patients and I wish there were more flexible options for managing it. It would be incredibly helpful if the recall date could be used as a filter in the waitlist view , that seems like an obvious thing to include. For now, we've had to get creative by adding new appointment types to filter the list but that's more of a workaround than a true solution.

We migrated from Solution Reach over to it. We rely on digital forms, online payments and are currently integrating insurance verification. The interface is easy, simple to use and grasp. I really appreciate the customer support , prompt, personable and very helpful. The team keeps improving the platform and listens to feedback which I love!

We love how simple it is to use and notice the amount of time we save every day. Their support team is fantastic, always quickly fixing any issue we run into. Getting all of their features connected was very easy. Our patients are big fans of the credit card terminals and the text-to-pay option which everyone finds really convenient.
Cons
We do experience frequent syncing problems. Thankfully their customer service is outstanding , they jump on the issue immediately and consistently come up with a rapid solution as soon as possible.
