“Perfect for startups
Pros
NextGen is incredibly user-friendly and didn't take much training to get comfortable with. I genuinely think it is among the top healthcare management platforms available. The interface is also simple and configurations are easy to set up. Overall it is perfect for new clinics getting started.
Cons
While I like how approachable the tool is for beginners, I noticed it lacks deep configurability needed for enterprise level or large scale deployments. I have also found it to be relatively pricey compared with other options.

“Reliable all in one platform
Pros
I have found this to be a reliable platform for billing, scheduling and tracking patient information. What I appreciate is having everything bundled in a single system. Overall, it compares satisfactorily with other EMR programs I have used before.
Cons
I am bothered that this system isn't as automated as a few other platforms I have worked with in the past. I wish they would revamp the user interface and add more powerful patient-management features to make workflows smoother.
