“Insightful progress tracking”
Pros
Using it made it much clearer where I was falling short with data collection and tracking progress. It really shows that what you get done in a day comes down to how much you've learned and the people you've connected with.
Cons
The pricing for teams of 1 to 10 staff feels a little expensive although it's still reasonable to manage if resources are planned and allocated properly.

“Easy to collect data”
Pros
Collecting data out in the field feels very simple with the interface. The data entry buttons are simple to tap and being able to keep my case notes together with my hours helps a lot when I need to monitor how much I've been working.
Cons
Constant refreshing and repeated logins can be frustrating, especially when I need to pull something up quickly. Even if my phone is only in my pocket for a short time, there's a good chance the app has already logged me out.

“handy cheat sheet”
Pros
Whenever I need to jot something down fast, it is the app I reach for. The biggest plus for me is how simple it is to use. I can edit notes, merge them together when needed and the little cheat sheet feature is a really nice touch for keeping my notes organized.
Cons
I miss built-in synchronization. Right now, I have to manually merge or sync my notes myself which is a bit inconvenient.

“Transformed our workflow”
Pros
It has completely transformed the way our team works. The platform is very simple to use, even for staff who aren't especially comfortable with technology. The features work the way they're supposed to and having more than one way to complete certain tasks makes it feel flexible instead of rigid. The cost is also very fair for everything that's included. Being able to manage billing inside the same system instead of bouncing between different platforms has been a huge plus for us. Their customer support is quick, knowledgeable and truly helpful and the built-in Help section is one of the best I've seen. The video tutorials are broken down step by step, stay on point and don't include unnecessary filler that makes training harder than it needs to be. Another feature we really appreciate is sending documents out for signatures through the parent portal or signing them directly in Noteable. That alone has made our workflow much more efficient and saved us a lot of time.
Cons
Even with all the strengths it offers, there are still a number of areas where it could better support ABA clinics and in-home services. A big issue is that session notes can't be started, saved and reopened later. If someone gets interrupted, they have to begin again from scratch. It would also make a big difference if BCBAs could update objectives and goals in real time and have those changes appear immediately for RBTs through the update session feature. Another useful improvement would be a supervision mode that lets BCBAs view the RBT data-entry screen live during sessions so they can see what is being entered and provide feedback in the moment. As it stands now, real-time staff support is harder than it should be. There are also several organizational features missing that would make clinic management much more efficient such as an intake list on the home page similar to the client and assessment lists, alerts for missed session notes tied to scheduled calendar appointments that both staff and supervisors can see, a master calendar for viewing and scheduling all staff appointments in one place and a quick-view tab for allergies or other critical alerts so safety information stays highly visible. On the mobile side, it would be very helpful to have tutorial videos specifically for the app, along with the ability for both RBTs and BCBAs to write session notes directly inside the app rather than needing to switch to the website. The security is appreciated but adding Face ID or PIN login would make access much faster and more practical when starting sessions while on the move.

“Secure access across devices”
Pros
Being able to sign in to my account from different devices is a huge plus and I still feel confident that my information stays secure.
Cons
It would be much more convenient if the app let me view things like my schedule and hours. Also, when I open the schedule in an iPhone web browser, the layout is hard to navigate and tough to see all at once.

“Helpful support and user-friendly design”
Pros
Whenever I've needed help, customer support has responded quickly and the solutions have come even faster. On top of that, it is very user-friendly overall.
Cons
Client demographics and standard forms don't transfer into newly created charts for different programs. For example, if a client comes in for Community Stabilization and I complete the intake packet, goals and freedom of choice so all the initial information is already collected, then adding a Mental Health Skill Building or IOP chart usually means most of that information doesn't carry over and has to be entered again.

“Saves time and effort”
Pros
We find it easy to handle. Users have been able to pick it up with virtually no training at all which says a lot about how user-friendly it is. Being able to access it from anywhere is another huge plus. I've been using it for 8 years and within this first year of letting them manage my billing, the whole process has been smooth and has saved me a significant amount of time and effort.
Cons
As our company has become more complex, the only challenge we've noticed is some lag between what a body like CARF Accreditation requires and what Noteable is able to support.

“Feels secure”
Pros
Right from the start the platform felt user-friendly and neatly structured so moving between case notes, scheduling and reports was simple. The security is another big plus, especially the HIPAA-compliant setup which makes me feel comfortable keeping sensitive information there. Getting used to it didn't take long either and I was already working efficiently after my first few sessions.
Cons
Every now and then syncing between devices glitches and slows things down a bit. Some of the more advanced features also take a few extra clicks to find and the mobile experience, both on the website and in the app, doesn't feel as polished as the desktop version.

“User-friendly practice management software”
Pros
Running our practice has become much more manageable with it. The system is very user friendly, simple to navigate and we barely had to spend any time training new staff who weren't familiar with it.
Cons
There are times when it doesn't quite match our exact workflow. An actual mobile app would be really helpful since the website can be hard to work through on a phone. We also can't use the payroll feature for contractor payroll because it only supports hourly pay instead of unit-based payments. It would also save time if staff could generate a unit-based timesheet at the end of the week so supervisors wouldn't have to double-check that all notes are correctly listed on timesheets. More flexibility with chart date settings would help too. For example, the ISP auto-reminder can only be set for 6 months after the last ISP but we follow a 30-day, 5-month and then 6-month schedule so the third and future ISPs end up falling on the same date as the CNAs.

“Doesn’t work for outpatient care”
Pros
The form-building options are very strong and the final output looks much better than many other systems. Being able to customize the input fields is a real advantage.
Cons
This system is basically not workable for scheduling outpatient appointments so you will need a separate calendar service. There are no reminders at all. The portal feels extremely basic and is not practical for use cases like working with protected children in social services. You will also need another system to regularly send HIPAA-protected documents. It depends on the recipient having and sharing a cell phone number. Adding add-on codes is not handled well and the extra steps take far too much time. The interface feels like it was designed by someone who has never worked in a fast, efficient outpatient environment. Customer support does try to help but they really do not understand the workflow when you explain what is needed. Names are organized by first name only, with no option to sort by last name. The system also does not distinguish race from ethnicity which creates errors in every chart. If one guardian is responsible for multiple children, you have to enter that guardian separately for each child. If the guardian's phone number changes, you then have to update every single child's chart one by one. That creates a huge amount of extra work for anyone caring for foster patients. There is also no built-in way to handle middle names.

“Beginner-friendly program”
Pros
It was easy to get comfortable with. The system feels user-friendly right away so it didn't take much time to learn and I was able to step into my new role without any trouble.
Cons
I'd suggest adding a way to view submitted notes directly from the client's calendar tab.

“Fair pricing”
Pros
It stood out to me for its customizable templates, well-designed layout and how accessible it is from a director's standpoint. The pricing for the services feels fair and the support team has been helpful whenever bugs or other issues come up. I also appreciate how well patient charts are organized, along with the secure logins and the guidance they provide when learning the system as an administrator. On top of that, the billing features have been very useful for my biller and claims staff.
Cons
The payroll and timesheet side is really the part I still need to adjust to since I have to spend more time exploring billing and payments to make everything line up with the payroll sheet. That said, it's more of a task I personally don't enjoy than an actual issue with Noteable.

“Keeps client info organized”
Pros
Keeping client information organized in one place has been a big plus. It gives us quick access to everything we need and the reminders for due items help a lot when it comes to staying on top of important tasks. Another feature I really appreciate is being able to view discharged clients and still access their records even after they are no longer active with the company.
Cons
At times Noteable runs into issues with virtual sessions and sending links out to clients. It can also be frustrating to move between client documents because the system sometimes pushes you to submit items when you're just trying to save them.

Pros
The platform has been very simple to use. The site is easy to navigate and I also appreciate that there are reliable ways to contact someone for help and get a response in a timely manner.
Cons

“Helpful tutorials and superb support”
Pros
Customer service has been outstanding. The support process is quick and simple and the tutorials are really useful. It's absolutely worth the cost.
Cons

“Scales well”
Pros
One of the best things about it is that it's built to adapt as your company grows. Admins can make updates themselves and if you're ever unsure about something, the partner advocate is always there to help. They respond within a reasonable amount of time and are willing to set up meetings to talk things through. As an owner, a huge benefit is being able to deactivate an employee's account right away if they are terminated which helps keep client information protected. This software really made it possible for me to go paperless.
Cons
Honestly there wasn't much I disliked about it. If I had to point out one thing, it would be that navigating the document options can feel a bit tedious when you need to add a section or remove part of one. You have to be careful to make sure everything is set correctly before selecting yes/no or switching it the other way around. That part caused me a few issues so I ended up contacting my partner advocate to handle those updates for me since the graphing side of it isn't especially simple.

“Handles client documentation well”
Pros
As a business professional, I really value how well this app handles client documentation, lets me add data reports and helps me keep track of client assessments all in one place. The system feels user-friendly and retrieving information is very convenient which saves time and makes it easier to understand how everything works.
Cons
The part I liked the least is the lag when moving between pages which can get very frustrating. There are also times when a report will not load at all and that creates a major delay.

“Well-organized and reliable”
Pros
Using this app feels very simple and that's something I really appreciate. I didn't run into any bugs at all and compared with other similar apps I've used before, this one felt much more organized.
Cons
Interface is maybe a bit too basic visually. It could use a little more personality or flair but aside from that, I really don't have much to criticize.
