Best app for customer support work

Pros

As a customer support agent using OhMD I rely on it constantly. It's honestly the best app I have used for this work. I use it most of my day because of my job and the wide range of features has really helped me. Overall it's easy to use and simple to implement and integrate.

Cons

However it can be quite slow at times and occasionally my chats get switched or moved unexpectedly which interrupts my workflow.

no more phone dependancy

Pros

I am really happy because I don't have to be stuck on the phone anymore. so overall this is super helpful.

Cons

Every so often the system goes down or has a few technical issues but from what I have experienced it generally doesn't stop me from using it.

Transformed how i handle everyday tasks

Pros

OHMD has transformed how I handle everyday tasks as it's made communication incredibly simple. Plus my clients can text back and forth when they don't have time to call and those messages are automatically added to their chart. That ends up being much less work for both me and my clients.

Cons

Honestly I do not have any complaints as I love everything about it and have not noticed any issues or concerns.

User-friendly with amazing saved-replies

Pros

What I really like is how user friendly it is and the saved-reply feature is simply amazing. Overall it helps customers have their requests handled quickly and efficiently.

Cons

Occasionally it runs pretty slow and logs me out which means I have to sign in again. Thankfully that does not happen very often.

heavily relied on for clinic communication

Pros

At my clinic of about twenty providers I rely heavily on this tool. Younger and more active patients respond much better to a quick text than a phone call or voicemail so that communication channel works best. Instead of being tied up on one call, I can juggle several conversations at once. Sharing documents back and forth is simple and I have noticed patients often choose to upload files via text rather than navigating our portal. When I close a conversation the entire chat history uploads cleanly into our Athena EMR so anyone in the group can review what was discussed. Setup was easy too and I use it every day. Features I like most include assigning chats to different provider teams, seeing internal notes on the patient's OhMD chart and the recent addition of emoji support.

Cons

I'd like the saved replies option to be quicker. As it currently requires too many clicks for my workflow. Also the internal notes section on patient profiles are a little complex and could be made simpler to use.

meets the need for text communication

Pros

With texting now central to how people communicate this tool has stepped in to meet that need. I have noticed day-to-day improvements in genuinely effective patient messaging which I expect will help close care gaps and lead to a generally healthier patient community.

Cons

I can't think of any drawbacks right now at this moment.

Transformed patient outreach, fast and secure

Pros

Using it has transformed the way we reach out to our patients. Messaging is fast, secure and far more convenient for both my team and those we care for. We rely on it every day to send appointment reminders, do follow-ups and transmit forms. My patients also like avoiding hold music and endless phone-tag and overall it has saved us a tremendous amount of time.

Cons

Occasionally I notice small issues like messages not appearing right away but they rarely disrupt our work. Plus I wish the mobile app had more features for managing tasks on the go. Despite these minor shortcomings, the platform is dependable and meets our needs.

easy navigation like a fantastic assistant

Pros

I find it east to navigate and it reliably completes tasks. Overall it's like having a fantastic assistant!

Cons

To be honest there is not much to complain about. What bugs me a bit is having to jump from the Patients screen to add a new patient, then back to Messages and switch again. But I admit that's just my impatience wanting to work faster!

Clients like hipaa-compliant texting system

Pros

My clients really like having a HIPPA-compliant text messaging system available. They can reach out by texting our main phone number which makes communication pretty easy. I also love how well it ties into our website as visitors can contact us directly from the site and we can reply in real time, keeping conversations quick and efficient.

Cons

I have not faced any problems as it's an excellent platform.

Super convenient and hipaa compliant

Pros

Overall it is super convenient and having the peace of mind that we are HIPPA compliant really helps. I use this tool on a regular basis and it's simple to set up and incorporate into the way I interact with patients.

Cons

Some messages between my team and patients just vanish and then I have to hunt around to find them.

Team guided through each phase

Pros

I really liked it because their team guided me through each phase and was excellent at answering any questions I had. Their customer support is exceptional as well. Plus it is extremely user-friendly and I would absolutely recommend it to any provider aiming to bring innovative change into their practice, office or workflows.

Cons

To be honest it took me quite a while to get everything configured and running which was a bit frustrating at first but in the end the wait was definitely worth it.

message patients without personal number

Pros

Being able to message my patients without giving out my personal phone number is amazing. Nowadays so much happens by text and it's a very convenient way for me to stay connected with the people I care about.

Cons

Occasionally when I search for a patient, they do not appear in the results so I try to add them to the database. Then the system tells me that the patient already exists under another entry which leaves me having to hunt down the duplicate and that's really frustrating.

Incredibly user-friendly and saves time

Pros

Honestly it is incredibly user-friendly and saves me a lot of time. As it makes reaching patients who often ignore phone calls so much simpler. For me it's the most efficient way to broadcast information to all patients at once with a single mass text. The benefits go on and on as we rely on it daily and in this era of texting I consider it an essential tool.

Cons

I have been running into issues lately when trying to upload photos. As the picture upload keeps failing and it's been frustrating.

Love how easy to pick up and use

Pros

I love how easy it was to pick up this app. Plus I can use it on my phone and my computer and I can store all the contact details I need. So yes I love it. Its rollout at work has been amazing too and it handles customer support pretty well. I use it every day to communicate with clients and it makes those conversations so much easier.

Cons

We had to configure a lot before we were able to send images which took some time and extra steps to get working properly.

Simple to navigate, supports two-way

feature rich but templates limiting

Pros

I'm happy with its simple nature but it is not packed with so many features. Still I like that it's part of the broader Zoho suite.

Cons

The templates are very limiting and setting up invoices in different languages has been a headache.
