“perfect for an integrative practice”
Pros
It has really changed how I run my integrative practice. Scheduling is simple and efficient, new patients can book through my website using an embedded link and they automatically get confirmation emails that include links to intake forms and consents, so I'm not constantly chasing paperwork. The patient portal is clean and easy to use and my patients often tell me how user-friendly they find it. I especially like being able to send treatment plans right through the messaging system, and having a secure place where patients can upload labs or other documents. The library of educational handouts is a great bonus & it gives patients access to reliable information whenever they want. A feature that stands out for me is the Fullscript integration inside the chart note and it has saved me a huge amount of time and tightened up my workflow. I use Fullscript with the majority of my patients and appreciate how simple it is to recommend and manage supplements directly from the note. I also rely on the e-prescribing and lab-ordering tools which are both built into the chart note, those integrations have noticeably improved my workflow and cut down on administrative time. Telehealth has been smooth, the built-in video chat works reliably and patients find it easy to connect. I've also invested time customizing email and charting templates which makes daily documentation faster and more consistent. And I have to say the support team deserves praise, they're responsive, helpful and usually resolve issues quickly, often getting back to me within hours.
Cons
Every so often I run into a feature or task that doesn't feel very interactive, sometimes there seem to be extra steps to get something done. That said, the team is always rolling out updates and making improvements and I've already noticed some of these rough spots getting better since I started using OM.

I like that the schedule template is clear and easy to read, the checkout process is simple and it automatically sends patient details to them.
Cons
When my day already has multiple patients booked, I still have to open a different day in the monthly view just to add another appointment for that same day.

For my needs, I find that it includes the essential tools I rely on, e-prescribing, faxing, intake forms and an easy-to-use charting layout.
Cons
However I find it more expensive than several other EHR options and there's an extra charge when you add more providers or enable certain features our practice requires.

“good but sometimes slow system”
Pros
I have been using it for the past two years and overall my experience has been pretty positive. What I appreciate most is how user-friendly the interface is, moving between patient charts and placing orders feels natural and efficient. The system is neatly organized and the ability to customize templates really speeds up documentation which is a huge advantage when the clinic gets busy. In general, those workflow efficiencies have made my day-to-day tasks much easier to manage.
Cons
The biggest drawback for me is that the system can be slow to load certain features at times and there are occasional downtimes that disrupt the workflow. Those interruptions become especially frustrating on high-volume days when every minute counts, and they can throw off an otherwise smooth clinic schedule.

I am happy with their customer support, whenever I can't track down an answer in the help center, I submit a support ticket and someone typically replies to me the same day or by the next day.
Cons
At first it felt complicated but after I watched a few of the training videos I was able to work things out and get comfortable using the system.

“Great for acupuncture practice”
Pros
For my acupuncture practice this is ideal. It takes care of all the tasks I need it to perform, in a simple and efficient way. Admittedly there was a somewhat steep learning curve that lasted about a week but their team was incredibly supportive. Also, the cost seems quite fair. I would strongly recommend it especially for acupuncture.
Cons
Troubleshooting can be more difficult than I'd prefer. There are occasions when I end up searching through multiple menus and options for quite a while before I finally find the exact setting I need to change to resolve an issue.

From a learning standpoint I feel the system strikes a good balance by offering depth without being overwhelming and I like being able to tweak templates whenever my needs change.

Not being able to block other staff from accessing the "Settings Area" is frustrating. Even when I click "no access," they can still open it.
