“Valuable one on one onboarding”
Pros
After doing my homework and talking with others I chose this tool for my small hybrid practice and I personally found the one-on-one onboarding to be worth the investment since it helped me get comfortable much faster.
Cons
A few of my patients have experienced technical issues though most have been resolved.

“Saved me from a nightmare system”
Pros
The level of service and the warmth from the onboarding team (sensitive content redacted), along with their quick responses, have been absolutely outstanding. After leaving ECW EMR which was a nightmare for me, moving to Optimantra has made a huge difference in my workflow and in how quickly I can finalize charts. Their online scheduling is exceptional. I don't plan on switching again, truly very satisfied.
Cons
My only con is that it doesn't integrate with my lab provider, Quest which is inconvenient.

“best choice for an organized clinic”
Pros
I picked it for Azalea Primary Care after comparing multiple systems. Installing it has helped our clinic run at an exceptionally organized and high-performing level. Now we keep all charts in one centralized repository, which makes accessing patient information simple. I can quickly jot down notes during a visit or add them right afterward, saving time and cutting down on potential errors. Optimantra also alignes our billing and coding processes for Azalea Primary Care, once charting is finished we can submit claims immediately through the platform. We've noticed faster reimbursement cycles and very few denials. All told, Optimantra has truly changed the way we operate at Azalea Primary Care, daily workflows are more efficient, team communication flows better and the improved accuracy in patient records lets us spend more focus on patient outcomes instead of drowning in paperwork and administrative burden.
Cons
I can't find any drawbacks. There really isn't anything I dislike about this system.

Honestly, the customer service/help team is incredibly friendly and always ready to help, I appreciate that.
Cons

I am impressed by how simple it is to use and by the helpful support team, I also really appreciate that everything is hosted in the cloud.
Cons
However, the way SOAP charting forces me to enter information into separate boxes feels somewhat disjointed and interrupts my workflow.

What I value most is being able to manage scheduling, telehealth and documentation together which helps me stay focused on patient care while also keeping admin tasks under control.
Cons
Initial setup can be time-consuming for me especially when customizing templates and learning all the features. While the platform is great, it can feel overwhelming at first. However, once set up, the system runs smoothly and the support team is very helpful in guiding through any challenges.

Love the EMR's flexibility, the form builder is quite good and lets us customize templates to match how we actually work which has been genuinely helpful for our workflows.
Cons
Overall my experience has been very frustrating. it feels clunky and overly convoluted and there are almost no integrations available, it doesn't work with Square or PayPal and there's no Zapier or Make connection. The calendar is hard to read and awkward to use, there's no mobile app and the user interface is basic and frankly terrible. Marketing features are almost nonexistent and there are no automation tools or gift card options. It took four months just to get the system live. Webhooks are extremely limited and I can't even link Google Analytics, my own Twilio account, or use Google SMTP for email. Customization options are very restricted. To make matters worse we lost all of our forms at one point which in theory could be a HIPAA violation, thankfully it happened before we went live and there was no patient data but we still had to recreate everything from scratch. If my nurses hadn't disliked the EMR so much I might have tried to tolerate these issues, but because they did I would drop it immediately, it only functions as an EMR and nothing more. It honestly feels like the app was designed by doctors who don't understand software or user experience and built by developers who haven't spoken to people who actually know marketing, UX or sales.

Optimantra has all the features I need to run my online weight loss company. I can access patient charts, video conference, collect payments, order and check labs from the scheduler. It's great value for money. I can create charting templates, upload files, and communicate with clients via text and email. I also track inventory, collect sales taxes, and print detailed receipts. Training videos and weekly live sessions are very helpful.
Cons
I think the most challenging aspect of using OptiMantra for me has been figuring out the Reports section.

“best for my weight loss business”
Pros
For running my online weight-loss business solo, it gives me practically every tool I need. Using the scheduler I can pull up patient charts, hop into video calls, process credit card payments, request and review lab work, all from one place. I genuinely feel like I'm getting a lot of bang for my buck. I can build charting templates, upload documents straight from my computer, and exchange texts and emails with clients easily. Ordering labs and getting alerts when results come back is simple. I even embedded my clinic schedule on my website so patients can book online. I've been able to monitor inventory, add the appropriate taxes to sales and both email and print out detailed receipts. There are still so many functions I have not explored yet, which is exciting. I also appreciate that there are on-demand training videos I can revisit, plus weekly live training sessions for extra help.
Cons
Honestly, the Reports area is the piece I struggle with most in it, figuring out how to generate and interpret the reports has been the biggest challenge for me.

Cons

The charting and billing process saves me so much time. I love being able to customize my charting for Osteopathy.
Cons
Patients often complain about the health history/review of systems forms that it is too long. I like having the option to have patients input their credit card before an appointment but unfortunately in order to have that option it requires patients to input their credit card EVERY time they make an appt (does not save it and remember?) I wish that would change.

From my experience the software feels completely plug-and-play and I've personally seen how easily even family members with no medical background were able to jump in, help with office tasks and start billing within days, all while receiving fast and reliable support through their knowledge base and team.
Cons
Honestly I am struggling to find something I dislike about this software. Compared to Cerner, EPIC and AdvancedMD, it performs very well. If I had to nitpick the date format on claims isn't always consistent but that might be a backend issue.
