Stay Away from PrognoCIS

Pros

Well, there are no pros, that I could mention. There is actually nothing good about this product, so can’t mention any.

Cons

Here comes a long list of why you need to stay away from prognoCIS. There are a lot cons. First of all, I’d like to mention that they are not secure at all, easily gets hacked and healthcare data is confidential and no one can compromise when it comes at the point where your data is unsafe. They did inform us about the data breach but didn’t clean up all the mess they caused. It costed us a lot. Their customer support sucks. It is situated in India and their customer support team doesn’t really know English and we’ve had problem communicating with them. The services that they provide are over-priced, especially when they are not good enough. Last but not least, when we switched our EMR they were not handing over our patient record to us, for a month we were without our patient records. I would never ever recommend this product to anyone. They’re neither good nor professional at all.

Truly awful service.

Pros

The software had a decent demo. Everything that followed was nothing short of a scam.

Cons

The entire time I used PrognoCis, it felt like I was 30 years behind in electronic revolution. Following 2 months of whining and choosing to switch systems, I got an email from the company management. 100 messages too late. They slapped a huge number of fake charges and recouped 10%. They charged me a great deal for every month for this debacle. I changed to a different vendor! Prognocis otherwise known as Bizmatics, almost shut my business holding up a whole month to resubmit claims. Theres a huge list of EHR frameworks on the market, and after extensive research, I made the worst choice. The most pointless system thats hard to use. No proxy to look after settings, rather they expect a restorative office not to refresh their PCs so as to keep the first settings on Internet Explorer.

Pros

After getting trained it gets easy to use it, and I really like how you can easily navigate between screens regardless of which screen or window you’ve opened in front of you. We trained for a year and implemented the software later, so yeah it is okay.

Cons

They need to provide with more training videos for new employees. They are improving I must say, but they need to give out more training videos related to the Practice management and billing module. You always have to leave a message for the tech support team and can’t actually get in touch with them which is quite irritating. Once the server goes down, our system stops running being cloud-based.

Pros

Overall, it’s a good system. It is simple yet effective. The cost really mattered to us while selecting an EMR and didn’t really know how it would turn out, as people always say more the price, better the EMR. But I’m glad this wasn’t the case with prognoCIS. It does all the basics that are needed in any EMR, and they keep improving and changing according to the environment. I like how there’s a summed-up part of the patient’s medical problems, history and medication on the face page of this EMR. It is a nice EMR.

Cons

The only issue we have is that the tech team doesn’t really know English and it really gets hard for us to communicate our problems to them.

Customer service and few aspects of reporting need improvements

Pros

The product is user-friendly and quite simple to use. The EMR side of the system works great but could use some advancements. Customizability is very helpful.

Cons

Poor MU. Their medical reporting system is a mess. The results generated from it have a bad look to it and it is hard to read through. Most of their customer service hubs are set up in India due to which arise time-zone issues and language barriers. Their language is very technical and they seldom perceive things from a medical practitioners point of view making it all the more impossible to form a two-way understanding with the operator. I took this issue and reported it to a superior Support staff at PrognoCis, who showed little to no interest in the matter.

Easy to use, great interface with affordable cost

Pros

Aside from the EMR services, the company has been kind enough to help us customize a solution to automate our ongoing operations. This customization incorporates computerization of test reports from clinical tools used in our Medical Clinic, a structure of an Employee Assistance Program module and plan of a specific specialists pay module for tracking and recording bills. The product program is phenomenally instinctive, simple to operate and easily adaptable. Plus, navigation is efficient. Integration with external data is available. Vendor ability for customized module development. PrognoCis is quite affordable compared to inferior services costing double the price. The assisting staff is great at their jobs.

Cons

There can often be delays in issue resolution feedback from the support staff which causes us to fall back on some working.

Nice product

Pros

It is an all-in-one platform. It has everything that a practice might require of. I used this program in Dallas at a clinic, it was very useful, and it is easy to use and understand. But I do believe that they could improve it and they should improve it.

Cons

The user interface is outdated, and they do not offer web functionality. They at least should keep the interface updated and all.

The system is pretty much easy to use, and I don’t really have to explain a lot to my employees about it. once you learn it, it gets really easy, I definitely needed someone to explain it to me, but once explained I got it. the features are all those that I require and are great for me.

PrognoCIS Review

Pros

The system is user-friendly and intuitive. It is easy to use as I had no problems searching anything that I wanted or navigating through. It is easy to understand the system. The menus are easy to use and I really like it. The layouts are great as well. The flow of the system is very helpful for new users. The system has it all.

Cons

It takes time in loading things sometimes, which they need to improve as people aren’t very patient anymore.

Pros

This EHR system is very easy to use. When I first saw its demo, it seemed quite comprehensive, and it has all the things that I actually needed for my practice. It works efficiently. It met all my standards. Their trainers and tech team is super friendly and readily available whenever you need them. Plus it works on all the electronic devices, so easy to use whenever and wherever you want to.

Cons

Getting completely trained and setting it up could take at least 6 to 8 weeks, so be prepared for that when opting thing EHR system. The icons are very small, it would be more preferable if the icons could be a bit bigger than their current size. Other than that they should constantly keep updating their software so that the user interface becomes better.

Good EHR, extremely poor support and customer services

Pros

Its not a bad product, generally it is good, but it needs to improve a lot in the departments that require customer dealing and all. It has been more than 2 years that Ive used this product. To use this system, you should be trained well then its just a piece of cake. So, training is a must to get your hands on it. It isnt hard to use. It is a very helpful tool, but Im gonna say it again with adequate amount of training. So train well folks to get the best out of it.

Cons

I had issues with the support, training and delayed responses. They need to work really hard to make a better tech support team. They need to respond quickly otherwise they will lose their customers. It seems as if the customer support is not located in the US, if thats the case, then that might be the reason for communication issues. Training is important, otherwise you wont be able to work with this system well. Configuration is important otherwise youll end up with a tool that is not easy to use, so configure well.

The product have proven to be great, it is user-friendly, can easily be tailored according to your needs and wants. They help you train with the system until you actually get used to it. Their tech support team is great as well, they would help you always and in due time. Weve been able to take care of our patients in a much better way, thanks to prognoCIS.

Cons

The main issue with this product is that youll notice a few glitches, and the screen hangs. It gets kind of annoying, when it gets stuck in between a process and you have to close the entire thing and start it all over again.

Pros

It is an all in one package Ill say, it has everything and is proficient as well. It is easy to use, and I like how the EMR, practice management and billing service are combines. Their billing service are good as a matter of fact. Integrating the system was smoothly done, and their customer support is nice as well and responds well.

Cons

Theres nothing as such that I see as a con. I currently use their billing service, and recently started to submit claims, so I really dont know how to tell that how is it going. I started a new practice, till yet it okay, and no cons to state.
