“We keep discovering new features and ways to improve our workflows”
Pros
It has been quite a long time since weve been using prognoCIS. We started using it in 2007 and we found the product to be very easy to learn and use it. The training staff that was assigned to us were very knowledgeable and they understood our needs well, and helped accordingly. Customer support is great and the communication has always been better. It has almost every feature that I could imagine an EMR have. If you dont need a feature you can easily hide it, and when needed can easily activate it. Communication between labs, vendors, physicians, makes things a lot easier, and it is compatible with Windows, Apple. It also has an iPhone app for both EMR and patient portal.
Cons
There is an option to customize reporting on the billing side of the product, but not on the clinical side, although they do have a large library from which you can select. I think that there should be an option to customize reporting on the clinical side, and I am hopeful that it would be addressed soon.

“Medical Director Review”
Pros
Most companies claim that they have built their EMR according to the needs and wants of a doctor, and the way a doctor would want it to be, but I can assure you that is not the case. Only with prognoCIS I can say that it was as if a doctor created this EMR. It is user-friendly, and I can surely say this after have used many EMRs, that this one ought to be the best of them all.
Cons
Why is it that doctors cant have their own way of billing, why do the company always have to offer their own billing services. I dont want to buy a separate billing module, even if its really cheap, that should be my choice to make. Nearly every company will try to sell their billing services to you, please dont do that. If a doctor would want your billing services they will ask you for it, dont keep offering it. I like doing my billing my way through the EHR itself, there needs to be an option for that.

“Good set up with room for improvements”
Pros
The ability to customize the system setting and adjust your page according to your preference is a great help. The system provides ease of use requiring little training to get you up to speed. The training staff at Prognocis is also great at their job.
Cons
Their IT and customer support staff is not always helpful in their willingness and ability to understand and resolve your issues.

“Customizable and smooth.”
Pros
PrognoCIS works best for me. I have used many othe products before after using all of these I am saying this, so trust me on it. When I was looking for EMR companies, prognoCIS was the only one attentive and responsive to my clinic needs. The training representative that was assigned to me was very understanding and patient. I like the workflow and the I can customize the software according to my requirements, which is super amazing. I am very much pleased with this product and the company works hard to keep me pleased as well.
Cons
Currently, there is nothing coming to my mind, so I’ll leave it for now.

“Just ohkay!”
Pros
There isn’t anything I can say stands out, it is just way too behind. It needs a lot of improvement to get back in business.
Cons
The customer support is way too terrible, as it is overseas, there is a huge time difference, hard to communicate, I do feel a language barrier as well often. Literally it is so hard to get help even for slightest or the smallest thing ever. There are so many other products that I have seen and they are way too ahead, prognoCIS literally needs to game up.

“Review”
Pros
They provide a variety of layouts to all types of users according to their specialty.
Cons
Under the past medical history of ‘add ailment or code,’ there is a picklist option. In my opinion, they should just have a ‘code’ option because the CMS needs each diagnosis to be linked to an ICD-9 or ICD-10 in the future.

“Very unhappy”
Pros
There arent much, but yeah I did like the ease of making appointments, and to check the last visit of any patient, and that part of the EHR is error free as well.
Cons
Where should I begin, there are lot of problems that weve been facing with this EHR. It is not user-friendly at all. When you are posting an EOB with many names, and theres a problem with only one name, the complete EOB will not be posted. Getting help from their tech support team is also a struggle. First you have to create a ticket that is then sent to India, and till then we have to wait for their response. It has literally made us that annoyed, that after 11 months of using prognoCIS, we have started looking for another EHR.

“PrognoCIS”
Pros
PrognoCIS is comparatively easy to use and easy to become an expert on. It has many features that allow accurate record storing, e-prescribing, and the ability to participate in the meaningful use process. It lets staff work together well with its features, even though the staff is offsite.
Cons

“Horrible”
Pros
I don’t have anything good to say about this product.
Cons
The support is terrible. The support team is in India which is about 12 hours ahead, and they don’t even communicate with each other. Have to ask the same thing over and over again. They do have updates, but the updates are such a pain itself. The updates usually cause more problem than the problems before. They always close your case without solving things for you. Pathetic.

“user-friendly & affordable system.”
Pros
The system is literally affordable which is actually the best feature. It is user-friendly and youll easily get used to it. You dont really have to be a tech savvy person to know how to use it, its that user-friendly. Plus you can easily get the system up and running, and the person assigned to us did it very smoothly. He was efficient and knowledgeable. It is a great software to use. It can also be tailored according to your requirements.
Cons
Their tech support team is great and usually responds back in a timely manner, but they need to be more proactive. There are also times, when they dont respond in time, when you need their help, and return back your calls after several hours.

“Overall quite pleased with this product”
Pros
When I started using this product I didnt really like how it was and all, but then there was this option where you can edit it according to your requirements and liking, that made it great. Its implementation is excellent. You can customize your templates as well. You can have it in any way you want it to be. It is really great, as it is far batter than all the other products that Ive used, and it is also affordable. It just gets a little slow while processing the claims, but overall its a great product, and Id recommend using it.
Cons
They should work on their tech support team, as they do help you but in an adequate way. They can improve a lot in this department. It takes time to set it all up according to the way you want it to be, but its worth it. You will definitely not regret it, at least I didnt.
