“Scheduling is really easy with favorites
Pros
Scheduling is really easy for me as I can copy and paste appointments or meetings or send a booking link straight to a patient. I also love being able to send paperwork before the initial evaluation that's one of my favorite features.
Cons
Editing multi-day schedules frustrates me because when I try to change the whole set of appointments, I end up editing them one at a time after they've been initially created.

“Completely at ease with incredible rollout
Pros
From the start, I felt completely at ease with the rollout. They provided an incredibly detailed roadmap with deadlines and crystal-clear steps to follow. My team received extensive training. Honestly, some of the best training videos I have ever seen so everyone knew exactly what to do. Plus the software itself is polished and fast and it is clear they designed it with every role in mind, from front desk staff to therapists to billers. Gone are the days of hopping between multiple platforms as everything lives inside one powerful ecosystem now, which saves us a tremendous amount of time and frustration. What stands out most is their customer support. Every person I have interacted with truly cares about making sure our experience is positive and that the product fits our workflows. During implementation and onboarding, the support team played a crucial role in getting us established for success. We transitioned billing in-house for the first time, and the team gave us the knowledge and confidence to manage that area clearly and efficiently, taking time to understand our policies so the setup matched how we operate. The team always made me feel our needs were a priority and would find solutions for even the smallest issues. Our collection rate climbed significantly in a short time. Whenever I run into a problem, I can count on a fast, thoughtful response and issues are handled promptly and with a friendly attitude. Our clients really like the steady stream of new features and I appreciate that the team listens when I suggest improvements. The integrations with other tools make day-to-day practice management so much easier. Overall I am grateful every day that we decided to switch.
Cons
The cost is a bit on the higher side but honestly I think it's justified given the excellent service and high-quality product. They continuously push updates and actively listen to user feedback which is something I'm more than willing to pay for.

“Very easy to use with no downtime
Pros
This EMR is very easy to use and I never encounter any downtime with the system.
Cons
However I find there is not a single, full ledger view at the patient level which makes it harder for me to navigate and manage an account efficiently.

“fast for workflows
Pros
Prompt EMR is very user friendly and fast, helping me streamline my daily workflows thanks to its clean layout and powerful feature set.
Cons
The main drawback is that new users may face a fairly steep learning curve. I mean to say it takes a good amount of time to learn the system fully and tweak it to match my particular workflow.

I like it because I can complete quick evaluations using easy, user friendly formatting tools!
Cons
One thing I noticed is that I can't see the total number of visits per day unless I switch to the calendar view.

“Easy to glance back at last session
Pros
The way the notes are laid out makes it easy to glance back and see what I documented from the last session.
Cons
The billing workflow could be smoother. As I struggle when writing evaluations because the options force me to either bill each intervention manually by selecting the time spent on every item or choose a predefined card tied to a specific CPT code. It is not a deal-breaker but the process feels cumbersome and would be much more convenient if there were a simpler, faster way to apply billing without so many clicks.

“Simple soap notes and check-out process
Pros
What I like most is how simple the SOAP notes, billing and check-out process are. I also like that current patients have a link/portal to book appointments.
Cons
Having to click a button for every single measurement feels slow and a bit off. So a dropdown menu would probably work much better for me. It could just be my preference. During 2024 there were many server outages that left me unable to access Prompt at times.

“Transparency with live reports and data
Pros
One thing I really like is the transparency as being able to view live reports and use accurate data to make informed business decisions. Also I am impressed by how user friendly it it and how forgiving the system can be. When errors happen they are simple to fix and the user log with time and date stamps makes it easy for me to see exactly what was changed on any patient file.
Cons
Personally I think the Billing 2.0 user interface could benefit from some adjustments, although I admit that might just be my own stubbornness and reluctance to embrace change.

Pros
Prompt EMR makes managing patient care much smoother thanks to a clean, user-friendly layout and streamlined workflows. I also like how naturally it integrates with our current systems, offers configurable options and ultimately cuts down on time, boosts documentation accuracy and raises overall clinical productivity.
Cons
Sometimes it performs slow, particularly when handling very large patient records. While its customization settings are powerful, I find them overwhelming for newcomers. Also a few tools do not come with sufficient support, which can be frustrating when I'm trying to troubleshoot issues.

The software works well with the office like it integrates smoothly with our internal systems and is highly efficient for day-to-day operations. “Run multiple sessions in different tabs
Pros
Being able to run multiple Prompt sessions in different browser tabs is something I really like. For my workflow, I typically keep a Patient tab open on one screen and a Schedule tab open on another which helps me stay organized. I also find the interface straightforward, user friendly and simple to move around.
Cons
I've been experiencing lag and occasionally the system rewrites or erases recently entered information, often accompanied by an annoying error code.

“Charting goes faster than other emrs
Pros
In my experience, charting goes faster here than with other EMRs I've tried. The team actually responds when I give feedback or need help troubleshooting. Plus there are several ways to enter notes and I can create and share smart phrases that speed things up. Billing processes are reliable and efficient. And I can set patient alerts that surface at the front desk or for clinicians. Also the pre-charting tool really helps me get ready for evaluations.
Cons
Occasionally patients tell me the online intake form fails and even when it goes through, I have trouble toggling back and forth to transfer that data into the subjective part of the note so colleagues can easily view it. I've been wanting a setting that would automatically insert intake responses into the subjective section as that would save time and make the information more visible to other clinicians.

“great features but poor management communication

The cancellation list is really helpful and the daily notes workflow fits how I work. Plus once I finally get invoicing configured, billing runs smoothly.
Cons
Upper management here clearly needs a crash course in how to communicate with upset customers. The sales reps who brought me on were amazing but after I started running into problems it felt like nobody knew how to follow through. Eventually I got a response from the Customer Experience Manager and dealing with him was by far the worst part. You can say dismissive at best and he never called me back despite my repeated requests. So I have had to hire outside consultants for several weeks and spent countless hours on the phone trying to figure out why I'm not receiving ERA. They keep insisting this was an issue in my previous system which is simply not true. The platform also scrambled our insurance accounts so that payments went to us instead of to the clients for those who paid cash which created a mess. That situation has created an overwhelming amount of extra work and stress for me as the owner as I try to reimburse clients and correct the bookkeeping. The people actually doing the support work for Prompt were responsive and made genuine attempts to help, but the scale of the problems was too much for any of them to manage alone. My biggest disappointment is the upper management's apparent unwillingness or inability to make things right. They're offering to release me from my one-year contract now which makes me think they'd prefer to avoid dealing with the problem rather than fix it.

“Hands down the besttttttt
Pros
This platform is on a completely different level compared to other products. While I have not tried them all, PROMPT outshines the ones I have used in almost every aspect. They actively seek user feedback and make improvements where needed. The team behind it is absolutely amazing.
Cons
Minor details I think could always be improved, luckily they have feature requests and make those improvements regularly. Integration was a piece of cake. Took a weekend and was up and running quickly.

The technology makes patient registration and care processes a lot faster and easier. With an exercise library built in, everything physical therapists need is all in one place. The billing system also helps us stay compliant.
Cons
It is missing a strong scoring and functional reporting feature. Even though functional reporting forms are preloaded, physical therapists cannot see the specific questions or scores. It would also be helpful if these were automatically added to discharge and progress visits, and if reporting was built in so we could track our clinic's performance.

I appreciate the great functionality: the dashboard provides quick information on eligibility verification, active caseloads, unsigned documentation, and more. The report features offer visual displays for easier access to relevant info.
Cons
The features I was requesting are now going to be implemented! Online patient scheduling tools and NPS surveys are rolling out after feedback submitted. Otherwise, room for growth includes more streamlining with documentation flow.

I'm a fan of the powerful functionality as the dashboard gives me quick snapshots of eligibility verifications, my active caseload, unsigned documents and more. Plus the reporting tools use visual charts which makes it much easier for me to find the information I need.
Cons
The features I requested are finally being implemented. Online patient scheduling tools and NPS surveys are rolling out after the feedback I submitted. Beyond that I still see room for improvement, especially in streamlining the documentation workflow.
