Pros

Mixed bag

Pros

Having access to data from anywhere is a huge advantage. It allows Behavior Analysts to respond quickly to changes in the data. Additionally, Rethink enables data analysis in various ways, saving a considerable amount of time for Behavior Analysts.

Cons

Many features, such as customizable graphs and improved data collection methods, are still in the pipeline. Customer service is friendly, but there's a significant delay in response times.

Very satisfied with all Rethink has to offer!

Pros

Rethink is incredibly user-friendly. New staff members are able to learn how to collect data, access our goal bank, analyze automated graphs, and submit session notes that our families can review within their first week of employment. It's also user-friendly for families, as they can see pictures of their children, read session notes, view their child's goals, and always have access to their child's schedule.

Cons

Collecting partial interval/whole interval data with Rethink can be tricky. Once you open a child's program for the day, the timer starts ticking, even if you're not ready to collect data on that specific program.

Very Helpful

Pros

During my training at ABSI for my new job, the training modules were extremely helpful, and the format was very user-friendly. The informative videos and helpful quizzes made retaining knowledge even easier.

Cons

I found it difficult to verify sessions on the computer or laptop, but it was much easier and quicker on the phone app.

Rethink feedback

Pros

The calendars are really helpful for scheduling, and with the upcoming email scheduling feature, communication with the team is going to be even smoother.

Cons

It would be helpful to have symbols indicating which funder reports have been added to the client's file cabinet and which ones are missing.

Better than the last product but not perfext

Pros

I like that scheduling and data entry are seamlessly integrated.

Cons

The reporting options need improvement. I did like to see options for tracking individual targets while displaying an overall cumulative graph for the program instead of each target separately. The reports seems like a basic copy-paste job. It would be great to have a menu to select features to include, as not all funders require the same information.

Pros

The best feature of this software, in my opinion is how simple it is to use once its set up.

Cons

The software needs to be updated to include other diagnoses and treatment strategies beyond just Autism.

Rethink Review

Pros

While Rethink is user friendly on the browser, I feel the app needs significant improvements before it can be fully used. I do like how easy the scheduling, client navigation, client portal and data collection are.

Cons

I am facing issues like not being able to take baseline data on specific target behaviors, the whole system going down during sessions, problems with session notes and verifications, challenges with collecting multiple data points per session and the inability to change session dates after verification. I have noted more issues but our Rethink team is aware.

Rethink Rocks

Pros

It is easy to use, offers good reporting information and provides a comprehensive suite of platforms that support my business.

Cons

I did like the reporting to be more customizable, with the ability to request reports tailored specifically for our organization. Customizing available reports would be very helpful.

Rethink BH!

Pros

I am impressed with the functionality of Rethink software and how beneficial it is to the ABA field and my company specifically.

Cons

A few app features could be improved for live data and billing. Also, I struggle with maintaining a specific goal order when creating funder reports within a clients program book.

First World Requests

Pros

I really like Rethink. It captures everything I need as a small business owner. Also I like how the time sheets are linked to session notes and find the payroll and billing exports very easy to use and scrub.

Cons

I think the scheduling area could be more user-friendly. Coming from Central Reach, where I could drag and drop appointments, I miss that feature. My biggest request is to view multiple staff and client schedules simultaneously on the main page, rather than just in the group calendar section. It is easier to visually plan scheduling this way. Clinically, I am really hoping for manual mastery instead of having to work around by changing the mastery criteria. Also, it would be great to have playlists that group programming together. Although staff can check or uncheck items in the skills sections, having a playlist available from the back end would be fantastic.

Easy to use

Pros

Good one

Pros

I really like the individual customization Rethink offers for our company. The immediate feedback on questions and issues is fantastic. The task analysis and video models for training on software use and plan implementation are excellent. I really like the RBT coursework, though I wish there were an option to let people take the class without paying for the whole program if they are not using all the features. Many of our potential behavior techs do not get past the classes.

Cons

The scheduling system does not allow me to schedule multiple staff members or kids simultaneously. For example, scheduling staff meetings requires me to go into each staff members schedule individually rather than doing a group schedule. The treatment library feels too educational and is not practical for clinical use. The behavior reduction program layout is too simplistic which makes it easy to just check off boxes. The type-in boxes are too small, even though I can write long instructions. I also do not like that the system requires extensive knowledge of behavior before inputting data, which complicates tracking new behaviors. I did prefer if techs could enter behaviors while BCBAs handle the functional determination. Its awkward to correct errors made by technicians after verifying appointments. We really dislike the interval and duration timers they stop when staff moves away from the page and the alerts for timer completion are not noticeable enough. They do not work for baseline collection at all, so we currently track interval programs manually. The app records zeros if someone logs in to check a childs programming, and since most of our techs prefer using their phones, this causes a lot of false data.
