Everything about it is pretty good

Pros

We generally find that REvolution EHR is simple for new employees to learn. The training videos are quite helpful as well.

Cons

The recent changes to the accounting screen are confusing and frustrating and customer service was not very helpful.

Pros

Revolution offers great customization options which makes it easy to set things up the way I need.

Cons

Updates during business hours cause major downtime and disrupt the software which I don't like.

Simplifies everything

Pros

I like it as it is very easy to navigate REV and quickly access patient information.

Cons

Running reports has become complicated and now I need customer service assistance with it to manage them.

Works amazingly!

Pros

One thing I love is the feature that pulls up previous information for past patients. Plus it saves so much time for those who are established patients.

Cons

Too many clicks are required on the screens and it takes multiple pages to print an exam which I did not like.

Does what it is supposed to do

Pros

It is pretty simple and easy to use making it very helpful in my office.

Cons

Having all the exam equipment integrated with the system would be really helpful I think.

Very easy to start using it

Pros

RevolutionEHR software is simple to use, offers an eRx platform and is easy to make the office paperless. Also it is very optometry-friendly. The initial setup was simple too and billing per doctor instead of user is great if you have part-time staff. Plus since it is browser-based I can access it from any computer with internet as no app needed.

Cons

The price seems quite high to me and sometimes the system goes down but it's not frequent.

Pros

As a healthcare professional, efficiency and accuracy are crucial, and this system delivers on both.

Cons

When it goes down we have to resort to paper charts which take a lot of our time.

Getting better over time

Pros

What I like most is how easy it is to track my practices metrics and create custom reports. This EHR excels in letting me analyze product sales like glasses, contact lenses and services such as exams and fittings. While I expect my EHR to help with patient documentation, its integration with optical, insurance and medication systems is really impressive.

Cons

What I dislike the most about it is that for each component of a patient's eye exam, there is no free type option only drop-down selections. It would be great to have both a drop-down and free-type option for each exam component not just a general free-type section.

I am a satisfied user

Pros

The simplicity of record-keeping and coordination is a big plus. Also I like that patients can easily request any needed information.

Cons

While pretesting patients some of the information does not save correctly between computers which is our major concern.

Really like it!

Pros

I have always liked many features of Rev but RevConnect is one I particularly love. It is so user-friendly and patients are happy with it.

Cons

It occasionally moves slowly or lags. It does not happen often but when it does it makes it difficult for us to check in or check out a patient.

Pros

The thing I like the most is that there are so many customization options available, even though they need improvements.

Cons

Pros

RevEHR is user friendly and easy to navigate. Even with our fast-paced front desk, our staff can quickly move through multiple workflows and get patients scheduled with ease.

Cons

There are occasional issues when submitting claims through our clearinghouse but they are usually caught and fixed quickly.
