Clear tracking

Pros

One thing that really works well with this software is the customer support. They reply quickly by email, give good guidance on how to resolve errors and often include screenshots that make the steps much clearer. I use the platform regularly for creating POs and invoices and it's very useful being able to see the status of submitted invoices and track when payments are due. Matching POs to invoices helps move payments through faster and reduces the chance of invoices being rejected. Our external auditors also appreciate the system because it provides a reliable time stamped audit trail. It's also helpful that there is both a buyer and supplier login option. The dashboard gives a clear view of where invoices are in the process and highlights any that need attention.

Cons

Getting started with the software involves a few tedious steps especially when input is needed from several different teams. You have to be careful that the identification number and description match correctly although customer support is available to help when needed.

solid compliance and audit trail

Pros

When compliance, approval tracking and year end audits matter, this software really comes through! You can see exactly who approved each step and when it happened. On the invoicing side once the approval workflows and routing are set up properly, the procure to pay process works very well. It helps reduce a lot of the manual data entry errors too. It also manages huge amounts of vendor information and contracts without struggling. It's clearly designed for large, complex organizations and that really shows.

Cons

At the same time the platform feels dated like software from 15 years ago. Training new employees takes much longer than it should because almost nothing feels accessible right away.

supplier management powerhouse

Pros

Working with this tool has aligned really well with industry requirements in my experience. It comes with strong features like SBN, Ariba Risk and the Ariba Sourcing suite which together make it feel like a complete one stop solution for supplier relationship management and contract management.

Cons

Is a very strong product and honestly one of the best in terms of utility and overall purpose. The only downside is that navigation can be a bit tricky at times and not every product shares the same UI but the functions easily outweigh those issues.

Positive experience

Pros

Across our company this is the main platform we rely on for purchasing goods and services. I use it regularly for both spot buys and guided buying. The part I enjoy most is guided buying since it lets me order items at preset rates and take advantage of my company's corporate discount.

Cons

Starting off with the software took a bit of time because the system felt complex to figure out at first. It's a very large platform so there were moments when I got turned around and wasn't sure what step to take next. After using it more often though I became much more comfortable with how it works.

solid catalog tools

Pros

Navigating the catalogs is pretty easy thanks to the user friendly interface. It also comes with a strong set of features that gives organizations plenty of room to customize it to their needs.

Cons

There are occasional slowdowns when submitting requests or moving through catalogs. Standard users may also need some time to get comfortable with the shipping and review page.

helpful product search options

Pros

Browsing products by company, name or category made the search process very convenient! It gave me a few different ways to narrow things down and made it simpler to decide which product I wanted to look for.

Cons

Something I wasn't happy with was that the inventory doesn't include every product. There were times when the specific item I needed just wasn't listed so I couldn't find what I was looking for.

Impressive tool

Pros

Using this software has made procurement much more smooth especially with how well it connects to SAP ERP. The guided buying flow, supplier collaboration tools and contract management capabilities cut down a lot of manual paperwork and save a noticeable amount of time. During training the real time project examples and hands on exercises also helped make the concepts much clearer and easier to grasp!

Cons

At first the interface can seem a bit overwhelming especially for someone new to the platform and the initial setup is slightly difficult. A few navigation paths could be more accessible as well but after getting used to it the system proves to be very capable and powerful.

Best results!

Pros

Gives the best results when you use it with Edge! The whole process is well organized from placing the order all the way through delivery and invoicing. It's also convenient that I can access it from anywhere in the world as long as I have an internet connection.

Cons

Sometimes the response speed is a bit slow. I assume that may happen when the system is overloaded. Other than that this has been my only issue so far.

useful dashboard, frustrating uploads

Pros

One thing that works well in the software is the dashboard page. Adding or removing widgets is easy which makes it nice to customize.

Cons

Getting around the software is frustrating because I can rarely find what I need. It also almost never works on the first try so I end up reentering information over and over. I upload invoices regularly and it often takes 4 or 5 attempts before they finally go through.

Pros

procurement planning done right

Pros

Has been a really solid tool for company financial planning and procurement. It's easy to figure out, simple to use once you get going and it cuts down a lot on paperwork.

reliable suppliers

Pros

Something that really stands out with this software is how it helps businesses connect with thousands of reliable and trusted suppliers for procurement. It also supports better price negotiations which has helped reduce procurement costs for the organization. Other than that the added visibility into spending makes it easier to optimize working capital. The procurement cycle moves faster as well and there's much less manual effort involved which also cuts down on human errors.

Cons

Up to this point we haven't run into any issues with it.

Sped up processes for us!

Pros

From my perspective this is one of the best tools for speeding up the procurement process. It helps cut procurement costs by giving clear insights into spending, boosts productivity by making the overall workflow simpler and also saves a lot of time through automation of various procurement tasks.

Love it!

Pros

Using this software has made procurement much more manageable thanks to its cloud based platform. It automates key processes, gives real time visibility into supplier activity and helps connect with the B2B marketplace. Sourcing and procurement feel more optimized and it has helped reduce costs while making the overall process faster and more effective. I've used it personally and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to make procurement more effective.
