easy to find notes

Pros

Pulling documentation from a previous note makes charting faster and client goals are also simple to view.

Cons

I do not have any real concerns at this point. It would just be nice to have an option for color coding.

Feels a bit complex

Pros

One thing that works well is how many parts of the HRMS can be customized. We originally used only the absence management feature and later added HRMS, Frontline Central and Recruiting and Hiring once we needed a broader HRMS solution. It also gave us a place to document our certificated teaching assignments which was something our payroll system did not store at all. Having a single login to move between the different solutions is also really convenient.

Cons

At the same time it feels complex and could use improvements to make it more user friendly. It also is not really optimized for California school districts. The routing and workflow options are not advanced enough, from a programming standpoint, to support all of the rules and conditions we have to follow in CA schools. On top of that, the recruiting and hiring module does not account for merit school districts like ours, where non-teaching positions rely on civil service testing. Because of that, our non-teaching departments cannot really use the recruiting and hiring module since it does not have the functionality needed to weigh specific factors and keep a ranked eligibility list based on testing calculations.
